I love this place. The employees are so nice, the food delicious, and the service is top notch. To be honest, I miss their old place, but the new digs are still lovely. You’ve probably already read this a million times by now, but morning lines are nuts on the weekends(not sure about the weekdays). However, I feel like the cashier always does a great job of keeping the line moving. It’s just them customers that have a million questions that slow it down.

We visit this place as often as we can when we’re in Kirkwood. But this most recent visit was our first time with a large party. The staff was amazing and very accommodating to our large group(even on a Saturday afternoon). The food came out fast and accurately. Everything was delicious. Thank you Le Petit Marche. You never disappoint.

Le Petit Marche, is black owned business and is one of Atlanta’s hidden gem located in the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta. I frequent this establishment at least once a month for brunch. The staff is super friendly from the cashier to the cooks. On occasions, you will see Marche helping in the kitchen or just walking around greeting the customers. My last visit(6÷5÷2016), I had the French Toast Sandwich, made with Vanilla-rum battered french toast, scrambled eggs, with your choice of bacon, Delia’s chicken sausage or veggie sausage all drizzled with warm buttery syrup, I skipped the meat :(instead ordered a salmon croquette. I would recommend the Fresh Toast Sandwich or the Croquette meal that includes a house-made wild-caught salmon croquette atop creamy grits, scrambled cheese eggs, and lemon-dill butter. You will not be disappointed!

Came here on Sunday morning with a group of girls for a friend’s bachelorette weekend brunch. We came in a good time that we didnt have to wait too long in the line. It’s a cute little place with homey feel. They have seating inside and outside. Each table has a cute notebook for guests took write little messages. We were all satisfied with our food. I ordered the create your own breakfast sandwich. The eggs were cooked just right and the sandwich was filling but not too heavy. It also came with a tiny tin cup with banana dessert in it. It was yummy! One of the girls ordered the oatmeal and it was packed with delicious granola and fruits! Another girl ordered the grits, but it looked a little heavy on the cheese — if you prefer not too be overloaded with cheese, you could probably ask them to go easy on the cheese ;) They had self-serve coffee, water, and drinks sections in one corner, but it was a bit inconvenient. This corner is right by the line to order the food, so you have to squeeze your way in between people in line. It was a bit of a hassle to get more water, but it was nice that they came by the table to pour more coffee for us.

Went here for lunch with my brother and I’m pretty sure it’s the best brunch we’ve had!(And we brunch every week). I got the egg sandwich and the croissant was amazing. We shared the grits stack and that was amazing and the French toast sandwich was like a fancy mcgriddle, in a good way. In short, all the food was amazing. Service was quick. Setting was very nice. We don’t like doing repeats, but I think we’ll be back here :)

We have been here once(so far). My wife configured her own bagel sandwich with the chicken sausage, mushrooms, avocados and jalapeños, and I ordered the French Toast Sandwich with bacon. The food came out quick and hot was pretty good. It had a straight-up honest homely goodness, with no surprises. We sat at the kitchen counter and flipped through a few pages of the guestbook — helps pass some time. Other than that, the décor has a few interesting features, with different China dinner sets and kitchen utensils adoring different walls. Overall, this place lives up to its Unilocal rating. It was a good find!

I was definitely surprised to see how many people were waiting in line at this restaurant. I found the food to be pretty good. I had the grits with shrimp and chicken sausage. One suggestion I have for the restaurant is to move the coffee, water and cutlery away from the register area. It makes it difficult to reach any of that after leaving that area if there’s a big line.

I’m legitimately upset that I haven’t been here before. We stopped here for brunch on a Sunday morning. I’d never been, but my GF has always told me how excellent it was And excellent it was. We got there relatively early, so the line wasn’t insane yet. We waited maybe 10 — 15 minutes to get inside and order. Not unreasonable at all for Sunday brunch in Atlanta. I decided to go with the grit stack, which essentially had everything I love about breakfast all thrown together in one delicious, cheesy bowl. Grits, eggs, cheese, bacon, and shrimp. Could have used a little more salt, but other than that, I’d say it was pretty darn perfect. I’m a pretty big grits snob and these lived up to my unreasonably high standards. The GF got the french toast sandwich, which I hear was also amazing. It was a sandwich with french toast, eggs, and chicken sausage, all covered in syrup. Not my thing, but I can see how people who enjoy sweet breakfast would go crazy for it. The service was great. The front door greeter /organization person and the lady taking the order were both super friendly and helpful. The food comes out quickly, which is great considering the seating is limited and the line was down the sidewalk. All in all, an EXCELLENT brunch option if you’re in the Kirkwood area or if, like myself, you’re willing to drive exorbitant distances for good brunch.

OHMYGOODNESS! This is a place you can’t miss. It’s such a cute little breakfast/brunch spot and you can design your own breakfast sandwich. I ordered the egg sandwich wrapped up in a tortilla with avocado, feta, and chicken sausage. It was amazing. Very flavorful and it kept me full all day(unheard of). My husband ordered the egg sandwich on wheat with avocado, pepper jack cheese(I think), and chicken sausage. His sandwich was also great. The egg sandwiches Come with a side of a small banana cream dessert, which is different and very yummy. Their coffee is delicious, and you can take it to go. The service is very friendly and prompt. You order at the counter and then take a number and find a seat and wait for your food. I wish I lived closer to this place cuz I would be here all the time!

This is such a cute little brunch place. The space is small since the outdoor seating isn’t an option during rainy, windy, cold days. Some folks to-go their orders or just sit at the bar/counter so the tables for small groups open up fairly quickly. The water, coffee, and utensils are self-serve near the wait line. You order at the counter and are guided to your seats, and someone will check on you periodically to see if everything is in order. The food looked super scrumptious! Even the bf who says most foods are okay said his lumberjack burrito ish choice was pretty delish. And I def agreed. It had tater tots inside, which made it even more yummy. It also came with a mini side of the banana dessert cup. My create my biscuit choice was divine: parmesan biscuit, chicken sausage, and pepper jack cheese. The banana dessert cup was also included with mine. My whole biscuit was moist, cheesy, and mouthwateringly yummy. It was sort of messy to eat by hand. I would have used utensils, but there’s no better way to eat a delicious biscuit. There is parking to the left of the building, but spaces fill up quickly. There were street parking options as well.

I went here for my first time last Saturday and it was great. I love it. They don’t have their own parking lot so be prepared to park nearby in a paid lot. It’s a small venue offering indoor and patio seating, but it fills up very quickly especially around brunch time so be prepared for that. The food comes out quickly so the turnaround time at tables shouldn’t be too long. They don’t offer reservations. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food came out quick and it was amazing. I got the lumberjack and my girl got the French toast sandwich with pancakes. I tried and loved everything and want to come back soon to try more dishes on the menu!

Now this is what I call a local gem with a community feel. Once you step inside you will feel like you’re right at home. There are plenty of friendly greetings, well wishes, and warm interactions. The décor is reminiscent of the southern relative you stayed with during the summer. The only thing that’s missing is the wicker chair and plastic wrapped furniture. Le Petit Marche had been on my list of bookmarks for a while. Needless to say I was excited when I finally got the chance to visit. Located in the legendary Kirkwood area, Le Petit Marche is housed in the building next door to Anna’s BBQ. Parking can be tricky depending on your time of arrival. Luckily I was able to get a space in the lot next to the restaurant. There appears to be ample street parking if you’re not so lucky. The sweet smells hit you as soon as you enter. Grab a menu and wait patiently to order. Make sure you grab your utensils too. Once you order you’ll be given a number to put on your table. While I waited I took a chance to chat it up with my brunch guest, and even a diner at the next table. I told you it has a community feel. On to the food. I ordered the French Toast Sandwich and a side of Rosemary Potatoes. Delicious! They give you a little banana dessert cup on the side. For someone who absolutely hates bananas, it was pretty tasty. As another Unilocaler mentioned there were a few mixups with the orders. I noticed some shrimp in the eggs on my sandwich. No biggie to me but that could have been catastrophic for someone with an allergy. I do wish I could get a mimosa or two but I think that would take away from the family atmosphere.

Really great vibes and atmosphere. Reminded you of home and Pops was very accommodating. He reminds you of your own grandpa, without a doubt, so the name Pops is very fitting. I’ll begin with this tip: arrive early and prepare to wait. We had a party of 10(my mother selected this restaurant for her birthday brunch) and let’s just say Pops made a small miracle. You’ll stand in line and place your order before you’re seated. Everything is self serve. Pretty ingenious idea for quick turn around in small/tight spaces. If you’d like a more relaxed atmosphere come a bit later. Say around 1:30 pm or so. Else wise. Tables are turning and the line is wrapped around the building. And for good reason. The food! The food tastes as good as it looks. We had a variety of options at our table from the salmon croquettes(my grandmother loved them and she’s used to making her own) to the famous French toast egg sandwich and let’s just say: once the food arrived the table went silent. Quality food. Open kitchen. I would definitely return, even if it were to just talk to Pops. Thank you for a great experience !

I came here with a friend for brunch, and I’m surprised I’ve never been here before. This place is kind of a hidden gem in Atlanta, and I’m from here. You order before you eat and serve yourself drinks. I noticed that they keep with the Southern/Cajun theme by selling items that are mainly found in Lousiana(like Café Du Monde beignet mix and seasonings). The line was almost to the door and I thought we would have to wait to sit down. There’s a limited amount of tables inside, so it’s kinda quaint and close. I ordered the grits stacker and French toast. You can get a lot of food for less than $ 20. The grits were tasty, I always mix my breakfast food anyway, so the idea of having everything in one is kinda clever. I opted for the sausage instead of the shrimp, I can appreciate them using local vendors like Delia’s and Arden’s Garden. My only gripe is that sometimes the orders get mixed up. I noticed about 3 orders that were incorrect, one being my friend’s. One woman got bacon instead of the sausage she ordered. That can be kinda dangerous for people who don’t eat beef or pork. But it happens, so I understand. I would definitely come again and try something else, lunch at Le Petit Marche may become a new tradition…

I searched the internet for the best lunch in Atlanta, and this reaturant was one of the options. I have to say I agree for these reasons 1. I was warmly greeted 5 seconds after i walked in the door 2. The ambience is great(similiar to most French cafes i visited in NYC3. The food selection(breasfast and lunch) options all seemed appealing making it difficult to choose 3. The waiting time for my food was less than 10 minutes… i had the chicken pesto panini with tater tots! Both were GREAT especially for lunch, i didnt want anything too heavy and 5. The economy style prices made my pockets smile :)

I have been dying to try this place since moving to the Atlanta metro area on September 2015! Today my husband and I finally got the chance to see what all the hype was about! Upon entering you must order before being seated. There is coffee, juice, water and a variety of other beverages available in their self service area. The restaurant itself is very quaint, a few tables and more seating along the«bar» area that overlooks the open kitchen. Once seated I had a chance to look around and it’s decorated pretty neatly with an obvious French flair. At the tables are these journals that you can write little messages in and it was fun to read some of the experiences of previous diners. Our food came out fast, hot and fresh! I ordered the grit stack with veggie sausage and my husband had the kirkwood. Both were amazing! I usually hate veggie sausage but this complimented the grits very well! I really enjoyed my meal. My husband didn’t leave anything on his plate so we will assume it was delicious as well. Service was awesome! Everyone was friendly and efficient! So glad I finally got to try this place out! This will not be our last visit! Note: this place can fill up fast on the weekends(I’ve driven by and have seen the line out the door!) and the parking lot is shared with a couple other businesses so parking can be a bit of a pain however street parking seems to be plentiful.

We were looking for a place to eat brunch and I kept looking through Unilocal for a place. I’m so glad we went here! This place is so cute and adorable! It’s definitely a hidden gem! I would definitely come back here to eat again.

On a cold day such as today it was nice to walk into such a warm and welcoming environment. Without exaggerations every single employee in this establishment was kind and helpful. A lady who seemed to be the manager passed by our table and asked us how everything was, twice. I felt appreciated the second I walked through those doors. The restaurant itself is a little small gem. They had a little notebook in the center of the table which I loved, everyone basically wrote little notes for the next person who read it. Food was outstanding, every single item was outstanding. Keep in mind if you don’t like bananas, most things come with bananas. I’m sure they’ll kindly take them off. My boyfriend picked this little place out for breakfast while I slept in the car, and I’m so glad he did. The environment is extraordinary. This place didn’t disappoint what so ever.

Just came here for the first time ever– and it’s pretty much earns its 4.5 star overall review. We had Garry’s Own, as well as the Shrimp Po’ Boy sandwiches– both of which were excellent offerings. The Kid’s breakfast also had plenty of eggs and toast alongside the single patty of delicious chicken sausage. We had a bite of our friend’s croquette, and immediately decided that it would be on our order the next time we come. And yes we will be back. Hopefully sooner than later.

Grits stacks are creamy and a delight to the palate. The different ingredients(scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon, chicken sausage) provided different consistencies and flavors that were synergistic with the grits. Oh, and the toast was lightly buttered(?) and so good, too. Salmon croquettes were a disappointment because it was a tad dry and flavorless. There is a sauce on it that gives it a bit of a flavor. Not the winning point here, though. I would come back to try other items and boost the rating after this first trial.

This place gets around, whooo! It was so packed on a Sunday morning. We made the line and ordered the tacos. LOVED them. Also, I like the concept, as you order first and pay, then wait for your food. I also like that they include a little dessert cup with all their entrees. Very nice. We tried the french toast sandwich as well but I truly preferred my boyfriend’s tacos. The orange juice could use some sprucing, as it appears to be freshly squeezed but tasted like Minute Maid to me. No big deal though, food was bomb and that’s what I came for. Super nice service staff and those tacos were filling and yummy. I love breakfast foods.

Came here on one winter weekend brunch day with the bf. All the interior décor had the taste of a French-countryside which was cute and cozy. We placed our order in first before sitting down. There wasn’t a line but seating was a bit limited. We ordered the Shrimp Po Boy and French toast. Both were absolutely delicious and very filling. The French Toast dish was also very very sweet so go easy on that one. They have various packaged food items displayed around the restaurant and are available for purchase. Can’t wait to go back again!

I was around the East Atlanta for a cup of joe and wanted to get breakfast/brunch afterwards and found this place on Unilocal! I. FOOD I order the Gary’s Own which has grilled Texas toast, turkey, crisp bacon, a hard-fried egg, spinach, tomato and a house– made avocado-ranch with a side of feta and balsamic pasta salad. The combination in the pasta has a unique taste that I could not stop eating but I began to bite into the sandwich which made me wish I had two mouths to eat the pasta and sandwich at the same time. Not only that, being late in the afternoon and didn’t have a small breakfast before, I also order the Ala Carte Croquettes, which is the smaller portion of Croquettes. All I read was salmon so I ordered it not knowing it was a salmon salad with onions, feta cheese and a flavory lemon-dill butter which was maybe the best tasting salad I’ve ever had. *beware, the onion will make your breath stink all day, but why care when it was sooooo gooodddddd* II. SERVICE This was my first time here and didn’t know you order first, get a number and yourself a drink. Somewhat like a self serve restaurant but they do come around to make sure everything is fine per usual. Seem like they had a small kitchen but you will get your food maybe less than 10 minutes after ordering! III. ATMOSPHERE/DECOR I found this place adorable from the outdoor patio, the french vintage decors, and the friendly happy customers. The most I love about this place is the open windows, I love me some natural lighting. IV. PRICES Almost everything is under $ 10! I went with a friend and has three meals and drinks under $ 25! Can’t beat that! V. OVERALL The most I love about this place is the open windows, I love me some natural lighting. This is a place to go if your craving delicious food and in the Atlanta area.

Le Petit Marche has easily become my favorite breakfast spot in Atlanta. I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like there, but I usually get the Kirkwood. It’s your basic breakfast with potatoes, bacon, and eggs. I love that they give you a little banana and chocolate/whip cream cup on the side as a sweet finish. Their cheese grits and rosemary potatoes are probably my favorite items on the menu, and they appear in several of the dishes. Once you order at the counter, you can find a seat anywhere and they’ll bring it you. They don’t allow you to reserve seats in advance of ordering, which is good. As hectic as it can be on a Saturday or Sunday morning, seats really do seem to pop up once you’re done ordering at the counter. Overall, prices are good and the food is always great.

Yum! Lets see… what did I like? Location, check Customer Service, check Enthusiastic Wait Staff, check Tasty good, check !! French Toast was delicious and cheese grits were okay, I will leave that off next time. The chicken sausage was tasty and if I had room I may have ordered more. They have a banana cup that’s basically sliced banana with drizzled chocolate. What to know: they take your order before you sit. Which also means you pay and tip prior as well. The staff was on top of it, so don’t be stingy or bring cash to compensate when you too realized you’ve had a great experience and a full stomach. :-) Good things.. .

This Kirkwood eatery should also be categorized under Adult Entertainment, because each dish at Le Petit Marche is beautifully sexy and each bite into whatever nom you decide upon will allow your tongue to experience a cascade of sinfully wonderful flavors. So #foodporn enthusiasts, take note. ***** I. FOOD Soups, salads, and sandwiches — they have the trifecta. I split a couple sandwiches with the person I was meeting with that day. Sandwiches also come with pasta, cranberry, or cabbage side. *Caribbean Chicken: Tasty chicken breast, spicy jerk aioli, red onion, tomato and green leaf lettuce in between warm flat bread — love this. This was an awesome balance between all the flavors and the bread was perfectly toasted. I should’ve tipped the sandwich artist myself. *Garry’s Own: Grilled Texas toast, turkey, crisp bacon, hard-fried egg, spinach, tomato, and a house-made avocado-ranch — let’s be honest. Everything taste better with a gluttonous egg, but the other ingredients could most certainly stand among themselves. This almost tasted like the perfect American sandwich to me, and my favorite of this lunch. II. SERVICE Once you order and grab your number, someone will bring your food out to you. And I received it a little over five minutes. That’s crazy impressive, considering that it was peak lunch time. Props to the manager, for keeping the flow on point. III. ATMOSPHERE/DECOR «Community Thrives Here» is the quote above the dining area and it best encapsulates what Le Petit Marche is all about. Folks in the neighborhood love to congregate there, so you’ll find a nice chatter from local business owners to stay-at-home moms during peak hours. There’s ample natural light inside, too. IV. PRICES Almost everything is under $ 9. And for the quality of food, that’s super impressive. V. OVERALL I’m beginning to fall in love with Atlanta, because of establishments like this. I can’t wait to return. Soon, I hope.

«Let’s skip out on the wiki fact fillers and focus on the food. I’m trying to find out what to order on the Unilocal app before the server gets back.» [Time & Date of visit]: Saturday morning — 11ish [Party Size]: 4 [Location/Ambiance]: I would say it’s a quaint café. The patio section highlights the shared strip with other business. Parking can be a bit cramped when you arrive at a busy hour. Two of my cousins arrived around 10ish, and they informed that there was not any lines for food whatsoever, as well as a good amount of parking space left. If the lot is full, pass the stop lights, make a left after the intersection and there are some available parking spots on the street. [Service]: It’s a fast casual kind of setup here. Pick up your drinks BEFORE you order! Then, after grabbing your table number; pick up additional silverware that are all bunched up for everyone else to touch. Ehhh. The food runners can also bring any additional condiments if needed, once they drop off your food. Since it was packed by the time we all arrived and placed our orders, we sat at the counter. I believe it was the manager and one of the cooks, came to check up on us at separate times to see how we were doing, what we thought of the food, and what else they could get for us if we needed anything. [Food Highlights]: The Grit Stack w/Chicken Sausage — If you grew up in the south or are a big breakfast person, this is definitely the item to get… unless you are allergic to shellfish. Then I guess, more for us! #sorrynotsorry. I’m glad they actually mash up the chicken sausage into this, creamy, gooey cheese, mixture. The grits alone are creamy, and the right amount of seasoning. Maybe better than flying biscuits. I think choosing the bacon would have overpowered it on the salty factor though. Must try. The Wild Wes —(Panini) w/pasta salad My best-est ordered this one. She likes mixing things up, and the combination of the tangy bbq sauce in the sandwich and then dipping into the ranch on each bite was right up her alley. I preferred the sandwich as is. The medley of tangy from the bbq sauce, with the salty flavorings of the bacon and light tones of the cheddar all came together just right for the chicken in the right combinations. Good recommendation. We wish the pasta salad was up to par, it was more of a meh. Not any real taste to it. I would pass on this as a side. French Toast Sandwich — I didn’t really get to taste this, but my other cousin tore this up. For anyone really hungry with a big appetite, this is good sized meal for brunch. The included banana dessert cup, comes in a standard size metal ramekin /dipping cup. — I’m not fond of bananas myself, but my best-est said it was delicious. Orange Juice — I’m not sure if it’s fresh squeezed, though there wasn’t a ton of pulp. Pretty refreshing. [Total Bill w/Tip & Tax]: W/two OJ’s — $ 26.95 {Summary}: I think a total of 3 of us had this place bookmarked for a while, and it did live up to the other reviews. I would recommend this place, even more so for someone visiting out of town if they are big on breakfast /brunch.

OJ from their fridge makes it flow down the body easily. Service: 4. This is not your fancy sit and dine. You walk up to place your order at the counter and a someone brings it to you. Pace is good. Location: 3. Parking is easy/free but somewhat tight on weekend.

My friend and I were searching for a breakfast spot. On the menu we notice there was a french toast scramble sandwich so we were immediately sold. The place is small but cute and very comfortable. They have an outdoor patio as well. When you enter you should grab a menu, wait in line and choose your drink. When you get to the register be prepared to order. They will then give you a number and you go choose your table. I sat at the bar stools which were very comfortable. All the food was cooked to order and it was everything I imagined… dramatic but it really was tasty. I ordered the grits stack with creole kinda flavored Shrimp and I subbed the bacon for chicken sausage. It’s also important to note they had a veggie sausage option for my vegetarians out there. Lastly, the staff was all friendly and the vibe here was really good. It’s in the Kirkwood neighborhood right near Arden’s Garden. Parking is just okay. You may have to park on the street but you’ll be okay. It’s a cute area to walk through and their is a police precinct a block away. I’ll be back for another visit soon.

It moved quite fast as the entire outdoor patio is also Used for full seating; I can imagine the wait during the rainy cold winters… Well… Good thing we are late into the spring. Within 35 minutes, we were into the restaurant greeted by the staff in the tiny open kitchen. It is amazing how much food they pump out of that tiny tiny, tiny space! Fresh pressed juices, a variety of teas and brewed coffee abound at the beverage cooler and counter before the cash register. We ordered the following: — Grit stack with shrimp and bacon: wow, wow, wow — oatmeal with fruit, granola, maple syrup: wow, wow, wow — French toast sandwich with eggs and crispy bacon: wow wow wow — side of Rosemary potatoes in a cup/by they were potato shavings crisp on the outside yet soft on the inside despite the super thin goodness: wow wow wow — giant chocolate chip cookie that had more chocolate chips than dough and it was absolutely wow wow wow: wow wow wow So, there it was, the best breakfast I have ever ever had anywhere in the world is served at Le Petit Marché. Yes, for once the hype is all true and the experience is impressively memorable: wow wow wow!
