This would now be a bad bad choice because you wouldn;t get any food. They are closed and the building is for lease. Where to get hibachi in town now?!

OK I have been there tree times, and have yet to have a bad time… not counting the time I have had order out sushi. The Hibachi cook top is great, even more so with filet and scallops. The food is great as I have and that 3 times, and the sake by the large tea pot… well the first is not the best ever but the 2nd and 3rd are better by the shot. The best part is at the size of the pots you can share not only with the whole table but he chief… as I like to have fun I think this place is a great place to party with good friends,

Matsuri is a typical Hibachi restaurant. They have several tables with teppan as well as regular table seats for sushi bar and such. Only complain I have about this place is the amount of salt they put(or poured) into our food. I know Hibachi chefs don’t use exact amount of seasoning and salt in their food, but come on. this was just too much.(If I have to drink a sip of water for every bite I ate, I call that too much, wouldn’t you agree?) This so-called«Japanese Hibachi» is ran by Korean people. As my friend and I stepped into the restaurant, we decided to communicate in Korean because we didn’t want to have our conversation overheard. So here we are, chatting in Korean juicy gossips and all of a sudden, our waitress greets us in Korean. Um, can you say. awkward?(So if you happen to speak Korean and want privacy, don’t go here!!!) If you are looking for something better, I would recommend Benihana. Exactly the same in every aspect except the quality, taste, and service is so much better at Benihana!

Matsuri has a really good hibachi grill and bar that recently opened in Midtown. Located on Ponce De Leon across from Cactus Car Wash, this Japanese restaurant has well seasoned food and entertaining hibachi chefs. Dinner prices are comparable to other hibachi style establishments, roughly forty five dollars plus for two. There is virtually no wait for seating because the restaurant is huge. There is a mini aquarium as well as nice décor. Did I mention the food was good? On a hunt for something new, I discovered Matsuri a few months ago. Similar to all of my other hibachi experiences I ordered hibachi chicken and fried rice which was roughly eighteen dollars with tax. The next time you crave sushi or hibachi, soothe your palette with Matsuri. The wait staff and servers are friendly and there is plenty to choose from on the menu, including sushi.
