Dr. McCaleb is, hands down, the best doctor I have been to. Be prepared to spend some time in her office, as she is very thorough and takes her time with her patients. Yes, your physical will take like three hours, but that is the type of doctor that you want. She knows what she’s talking about, and if she doesn’t, she will call someone who does right then and put them on speakerphone. I have never been disappointed with a referral from her, they have all been fantastic. Her assistant, Ashley, is equally as fantastic. She knows what she is doing. If she tells you that she can’t release information from your chart over the phone(as a previous review stated) then she can’t. Don’t try to force it, because if you’ve ever read anything about HIPAA, it’s not going to happen. Don’t waste your time or her’s. If you call during business hours and she doesn’t answer, she’s busy, leave a message. She will call you back. If you think that’s «unprofessional» then send her to voicemail, or better yet, find another doctor that pays a whole staff to sit by the phone. I don’t work for Dr. McCaleb, nor did she ask me to write this. I just wanted to express my opinion and give her the review she deserves.

I have never dealt with a more unprofessional medical office. I scheduled a physical only to be denied entry upon arrival. I am new to the city and scheduled an appointment for a physical. I am covered under my husband’s insurance. When I went into the appointment, I gave them my husband’s insurance card explaining that for some reason Blue Cross Blue Shield sent my husband two insurance cards with his name on them. It was explained to me that this was likely because he is the primary person on the account. However, after returning from gathering the paperwork I was expected to fill out, the young woman at the front desk told me that I would not be seen because the doctor«could not guarantee that she would be paid.» I found this strange because I managed to find her on the insurance physican search tab. Naturally I would expect a call to the insurance to verify would be in order but instead I was refused. Since this was an 11am appointment, I had to take work off from a new job to attend this appointment. I found it incredibly unprofessional and unethical as a physican to turn me away. There are so many doctors to choose from in this city… I’d shy away from Dr. Cynthia McCaleb.
