I don’t usually review fast food establishments, but this one is very unique. Yes this location was totally redone. It off the corner of Collier rd and Howell Mill rd, right across Chase Bank and Fellini’s pizza. As another Unilocaler describe it on point the building looks like ikea would manufacturer. This location was a drive thru only until a couple weeks ago. They added a small lobby on the right side of the building. Parking is very limited like 4 spots, Doubble drive thru with four windows, This location is actually buisy during the morning and at night. Wait times and service are not consistent, 3 – 5 am you could wait more than 10 mins for your order in the drive thru with nobody ahead of you, 6 – 10 am 5 – 10 mins and lunch tends to be slow, Overall, This location need some improvement my books due to the service inconsistency and odd wait times in the drivethru.

This is the worst place ever! The last couple times I’ve been here they are only excepting cash and make you give your order at the second window! It took me a 30 minutes just to get to the window. This is the worst management I have ever seen.

I had a terrible experience at McDonald’s on Howell mill and collier rd tonight. I sat at the drive through speaker for 10 minutes with silence before deciding to pull up to the window to see what was going on. The guy at the window looked at me and shook his head. I said huh? He said WEARECLOSEDFORTHENIGHT in an incredibly rude tone. I was confused because this particular McDonald’s is 24 hours. He got very irate with me and started yelling at me through the window with hand motions and all. I’m pretty irritated about it and probably won’t go anymore.

This review is for the newly constructed McDonald’s at the busy intersection of Howell Mill Rd. and Collier Rd. For many years, a unique, 1950s retro McDonald’s occupied this spot. Then, late last year(2012), the building was demolished. In its spot today stands a brand new McDonald’s, unlike one I’ve ever seen. The building looks like it popped out of an IKEA catalog. Have you ever seen one of those IKEA houses? This store reminds me of that. A simple, modern-looking rectangular box with(faux) dark wooden panels mixed with wavy aluminum(?) siding. There are hardly any windows except for the pick-up windows. This recently built-from-scratch location is exclusively a drive-thru and walk-up location, similar to a Checkers, but looks much nicer. The drive-thru is a double drive-thru. «Any lane, any time,» the sign reads. The ordering stations are covered with glossy gold arches, shielding customers in case it rains. The sharp and shiny order confirmation displays are embedded inside sleek white columns. The menus are bright, clear, and easy to read. There are a handful of parking spots on the package store side of the small property. The walk-up window has a button you press for service. The walk-up window area has three small metal tables seating two persons each. Not bad if the weather is nice. Oh, and there are restrooms too. Access is restricted during certain hours, so you’ll have to ask an employee to let you in. I’m pretty sure this new location operates 24⁄7. I like the different, efficient design of this Mickey D’s. It’s original(at least for now), just like the one before it.

This new McDonalds is an interesting concept, only drive through(2 of them) and walk ups — no inside dining. It hit the McD spot when I needed it to, with a fast and friendly staff. I’ll be coming back!

Recently renovated into a drive thru only location. Very modern design and two drive thru lanes offer faster service. My order was taken quickly, filled quickly, it was correct(and somewhat complicated), and it was delicious. They redesigned the parking lot to make it easier to navigate, and the employees couldn’t have been more attentive and welcoming. Very impressive first day!

I do not really expect to much from McDonalds. The food is what it is and it is not that it is good but I do crave it at times and it is comforting. I had been brainwashed and I have good memories as a kid going there. The salt and grease and cheese and all of it just seem to fill you up and payment remind you of a sunny day on the playground. I totally understand that most of the people that work here are not happy they work there also. But this place just sucks on all fronts overnights. I was on my way to my horrid job at like 4am I swung in hoping to get some breakfast. They don’t serve it that early so i ordered a fillet of fish and mcdouble. The fish was rock hard and they seemed to have dropped the tartar sauce bottle on it. i love fillet of fish, the golden crust, the flaky inside, the untoasted unseeded bun can be magical. This was magically wrong, like a unicorn crossed with a mosquito. The mcdouble was dry and the cheese had melted and cooled a few times i am guessing into this super glue like substance. They also seemed annoyed i had ordered. Like i was interrupting a toddlers nap time. I am never going back to the location and really hope it shuts down and they replace it with a pile of rocks. They might taste better.

Come on folks, it’s McDonald’s. We all know what to expect from them… Visiting this, location made me feel like I was a giant! The interior is TINY — not meant for a crowd of more than 5. I will give props to the drive thru personnel; they are attentive, accurate, and friendly. When and if I ever return, it will be to go through the drive thru only!

Well. It is McDonald’s folks. I give it three stars because they were fast, courteous, and it is the only thing my kid will eat. Chicken McNuggets are probably not the best thing to feed your child, but when the familiy is out to eat and you want the kids to eat something for that particular night, Mcdonalds did the trick. This Mcdonalds was across the street from Felini’s Pizza which is one of the best pizzas in Atlanta.

Okay, so, I’ve tried so hard not to randomly review chain stores and restaurants unless absolutely necessary, and this folks, is one of those times. I won’t say this is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to, but then again, I’ve been to McDonald’s restaurants in East Point and in West Baltimore, so… yeah. Anyway, I live in this area, so I’ve been to this place countless times out of ease of location, an let me tell you: they have NEVER gotten my order correct the first time. Ever! They never have menu items, the service is trash(even for a fast good restaurant) and the don’t have simple condiments like ketchup or jelly on lots of occasions. *sigh* This place is the worst.
