McDonald’s

this is a more modern McDonald’s, but all the McDonalds crew members wear button down shirts with neckties instead of the pull-​over 2-​buttoned collared shirts. i actually like the neckties better. it gives it a more classy feel to me.
they do not have a McPlayground (or whatever you call it). the floorplan has a nice, wide open space and they have large flat-​screen tvs in the corners of the restaurant that are usually turned to the CNN channel. they also have a nice bartop in the back of the lobby (or is that the front of the restaurant??) the bartop seats about a dozen people.
this is one of the nicest and cleanest updated modern McDonald’s I have ever been to… too bad it’s in a bad neighborhood.
I think the city is trying to make the West End area beautiful again by updating all the restaurants, creating new sidewalks, landscaping, and making new businesses there. that’s all fine and well because believe me when I tell you it needed it, but the people who come in there sometimes make you want to just go through the drive-​thru and keep it moving. hopefully it will get better…
