Great Medical, Eye, and Dental care… although they are a bit slow in service at times.

I have been coming here on and off for many years and have always been given quality care, just about anything can be treated and a separate dentist office is on the other side of the building (never used). This clinic can get very busy all walks of life will show for doctor visits here so bring your patience, a good book and maybe even a sense of humor you will need them.
Your name will be called, you will be given paperwork to fill out then bring it back to the window & have a seat, then they will call your name again and payment will be made or you can ask to speak with a counselor about payment fees.
The main reason for my coming here is because they work on a sliding scale which for a person who has no insurance can be a huge help. Depending on how much you make depends on what you pay it could be as little as 25%, or as much as 100% of the costs.
If you will be using the sliding scale payment plan You Must Bring:
a) Your drivers license.
b) Proof of income being the last two or three paycheck stubs.
c) Bank statements, electric or cable bill etc.
d) Proof of residency.
e) If you are a student pring proof of that too.
Once payment has been received the nurses will get to you as soon as they can. *A bit of advice the more polite you are to the staff here the more they are willing to work with you. Depending on where you fall on the «scale» prescriptions more often than not be given to you, for some they may receive medication there.
Appointments can be made on certain days while others are a first come first serve basis should you want to «walk in» get there early the line usually forms around 7:15 a.m. if they cannot see you in the a.m. round they will tell you to come back around 1:00 p.m. get there earlier to be one of the first seen. As long as you don’t have the mindset that you will «be in and out in a couple of hours» you will be fine and receive good care.
*If you bring children Keep Them With You and Stay Off the Cellphone in The Waiting Room remember this is a Doctors Office not your living room or you will be reprimanded.

Great place to go for health services in Atlanta, especially if you don’t have insurance. They basically provide all basic care and some dental services. It is mostly routine preventive types of medical services here, but it’s a friendly staff and this place does great for the community. If they aren’t able to provide a certain service, they can also point you in the right direction to get what you need. Also, this is a brand new facility and has ample parking off a main street and there is a MARTA across the street, so it’s convenient to get here. There are additional services as well, such as outreach counseling services, homeless outreach team, the occasional community clinic, and evening hours at Gateway in Downtown. Overall, a wonderful organization to be apart of that provides a wealth of healthcare and services to Atlanta.
