Mr. Everything Cafe

I am giving absolutely ZERO stars. It is totally based on customer service and not the food. Unfortunately, I did not get to taste the food that everyone raves about on social media. My colleagues and I placed a large order today. However, when I opened my plate, there was an eyelash in the food. I was disappointed and my appetite was ruined. I contacted the owner and was told to bring the plate back with my receipt. However, when I informed them I was not driving over there again at this time, I was told to place in the refrigerator. I have never been told to place something in the refrigerator to bring back to an establishment for reimbursement. BEWARE OF HAIR IN FOOD AND RUDE STAFF. I will not be back there nor will I tell anyone about it — just another ghetto ass establishment in AUC in my opinion with lackluster score which is going down as I type.

I was extremely disappointed in the appearance and atmosphere of this establishment. It felt like some type of war zone with all the bullet proof glass and the ridiculousness that the customer is subjected to in order to order, pay and receive your food. It was so clutered that it didnt look clean. The women that I ordered from were laying all over the counter, talking loud and laughing. The portions of food were tremendously smaller than the MLK location. The rice looked like it was unintentionally from 3 differnt batches. Truthfully, I was so turned off I disnt even eat my food.

I was so excited when I saw they were opening up a Mr. Everything just a few min from my house and last night I finally tried them out.
1. Food took 38min to cook/​get to me (yes I timed it. All I got was 2 salmon plates and one 6pc wing & fries. I was very irritated with having to wait that long.
2. Food quality was not good! The fries my daughter had were old and refried. My salmon plate had Sooooooooo much cheese on it it overpowered everything. And if you have been to the other locations you know that they give you two dressings for your plate. We didn’t get any and when I asked the lady for them she replied «oh you want some?» I was like ummmm doesn’t it come with it? She was taking to long to get my ranch so I ended up telling her never mind.
3. It’s located directly next to club Deja Vu (the bikini after hours spot). I went a little later at night 8:45pm, by the time I left (almost 40min later) the club started putting cons in the driveway so you couldn’t come in/​out without paying the fee for the club. I don’t understand where the people who want to go to the restaurant are suppose to park after 9pm on the weekends.
4. It looks like they took an old check cashing place and put a kitchen in it to make it a restaurant. I really wish I took a pic. You have to talk to the lady behind the counter through a glass window type thing. It’s a mess!
Needless to say I will not be returning to this location at all. Maybe they just don’t have everything together since they just opened but I’ll continue to drive the additional 20min to the MLK location.
