The food looked and smelled delicious. Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the taste. When I sat down at the bar area, a very friendly woman greeted me. I ordered a beer and asked for a menu. She brought me my beer and a menu, and checked on me promptly to get my food order. I sipped my beer, waiting patiently for my food. I had 30 minutes before I had to get to my gate, so I really wasn’t in a hurry, and wasn’t paying attention to the time too closely. Someone sat down next to me and ordered a salad. A few minutes later, his salad came out. No worries, I said to myself, I’m sure a sandwich takes longer to make than a salad. I finished my beer, and looked at my watch. There wasn’t enough time left to eat, so I prepared to get my check and cancel my food order. But my food wasn’t even on the check. The very nice woman who took my order didn’t even mention the missing food order. Just handed me a check for my $ 10 beer. I didn’t say anything. I wasn’t sure what to say. I’ve never had someone completely forget my food. To be fair, I doubt this is a common occurrence. Everyone around me seemed to be enjoying what they ordered. My beer was tasty. And the people were incredibly friendly. I fly through ATL several times a year, and I may give this place another shot. If you go, be sure to keep an eye on your watch. Give them a gentle reminder if you notice it taking too long.

I came here for the name. It’s BBQ, not Chinese like in Missoula, but can’t go wrong with the name of my favorite Chinese place. And oh em gee. So good. Pulled pork, BBQ beans and potato salad. And don’t forget the sweet tea. All delivered in under five minutes and an airport. Top notch service didn’t hurt either!

Decent bbq, but for an airport, it was great. Prices are a little high and the portions are a little small, but the bbq is good. I enjoyed both the smoked wings and ribs. The sides weren’t impressive; my cornbread and Mac and cheese were both a little bland. But it’s great for airport food so I’ll be back next time I’m in ATL airport.

I ordered their Wings platter — supposedly made with their signature sauce. It did not have any flavor and they serve it with 2 sides. I chose Potato salad(Good) & Green beans(Yuck) and a slice of bread. A tall Stella and Wings Platter(5 wings) cost me $ 27. Will never go there again. BWW is just around the gates and one can have wings at a reasonable price there.

I would pay for this BBQ even if I weren’t stuck in an airport. This is my go-to place in Concourse D now.

Very good and quick service! Being from Texas I’m pretty picky about BBQ and the pulled pork was excellent.

Efficient, friendly service. Too bad the BBQ is not good. Pulled pork was greasy, no flavor, no bark. Did not taste smoked. Canned beans and cold, steam table muffin. Unless you just want a drink and friendly service, save your money.

Ate there 8−7−15 with my 9 year old daughter. My daughter picked out the restaurant because of this«good smelling food.» Turns out her nose was right! We had a pulled pork BBQ sandwich, and it was some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. The bun was overflowing with meat. Moist meat with plenty of flavor. Totally unexpected for an airport restaurant. We will return next time we travel!

Beer was cold. Don’t get the bbq chicken sandwich it was dry. Super dry. The guy even let it sit in the window for 5 minutes before getting it to me. Potato salad was good though. Won’t come back here for a beer next time I’m coming through this airport.

Came in here during a layover and was blown away by how good the ribs are. Quick service, friendly staff(spoke to the manager Alex for a while who was super nice). Apparently they have a smoker on site in the airport! Highly recommend this place to any hungry travelers in ATL airport(Terminal D)

Incredible — real authentic smokehouse BBQ in a Airport! I have been to BBQ joints in airports before and always left disappointed. The Mustard Seed in ATL is fantastic, I was elated at first bite! Jennifer recommended the ribs and wings, i ordered the small order of ribs and ended up ordering another they were so fall off the bone good! Alex the manager saw that I was enjoying and also recommended the wings. Need I say more, the wings were great and very unique(just the right amount of smoke). I can say I found my new favorite place in the Atlanta airport — I WILLBEBACK! Thank You Alex and Jennifer!!! Mark

Eat here! Very, very good BBQ. The mustard BBQ sauce is perfect! We had the smoked wings which were amazing. Great smokey flavor with a very slight taste of sweet marinade or something, with pepper sprinkled on it. The prices are a tiny bit much for how much food you get but I expect that at the airport, I’m sure the stand alone restaurant is different. The baked beans were a small portion but they were delicious too. My boyfriend now wants to book layovers in ATL just so we can eat lunch here. If you are starving, sharing, or trying to stuff yourself, eat elsewhere– but it filled me up for several hours until dinner and he talked about it all night. He kept saying, we should have ordered to go to bring some home to Louisville!

Man for the price they do not feed you. Portions are so small even theplatters, the portions are not right for the price even the sides. We had to order 2 meals because there is nothing on the plate. Stay away

Good to above average Georgia mustard BBQ. The ribs were juicy and tender with a light smoke. The mustard BBQ sauce was a perfect pairing. Be aware their smoker is an electric smoker so it won’t have a pink smoke ring. Sides were good. For airport food that is representing the local speciality this is a good choice.

Better service and food than what other reviewers have posted. Good mustard based bbq, good pulled pork sandwich, great wings, and mixed drinks. Not huge portions, but how much food do you really need… Over eaters will want more, but the portions are just fine!

Don’t waste your money. I have never received such little(and mediocre) food for so much money. I understand it’s an airport and food will be more expensive however the sides are extremely limited and the portions are microscopic. I was literally shocked when the plate was set down. I got the pulled pork«plate» with green beans and cornbread muffin. The plate arrived with barely enough meat to cover the bottom of a regular bun, a piece of cheap white bread, a muffin(the size of the small pre-packaged muffins you buy at the grocery store bakery) and a tiny styrofoam«bowl» of beans. The food tastes ok — nothing more than what I would describe as adequate. I could not in good faith give this place any more stars then 1.

Well I sat in a 1⁄3 full restaurant for 15 minutes waiting for a server although I had been hailing one for the prior 10 min. There were only 3 of them for 10 tables. No apologies for the wait. I was by myself with the exception of the garbage fly buzzing by. OK the meal finally comes, nothing to write home about. Just finished my meal. The server never came by to check on anything. Did I mention the ran out of plastic forks. Visualize paying airport prices for lousy service, cra___food and literally having to eat with your fingers. How long will it take to get the bill now. Bottom line, walk down the hall to the Grind House.

Wow!!! I just found my absolute favorite restaurant in the ATL airport. I hit just about every bbq joint I come across in my travels(gone 6 months of the year and in no one place more than two weeks… do the math) and I gotta say I just had the meatiest, delicious smoked ribs ever! No lie! Neat, clean, and super friendly staff. By gate D26
