I’ve never been in the business, as this is for catering: She was a half hour early with no burners so it was either hold the meeting early or eat even colder food. She didn’t bring serving utensils, plates, forks… anything. She wouldn’t bring the food into the building, claiming«drop off only» so I had to go outside and get it. She didn’t bring salad dressing for the salad. One of the side dishes, baked mac and cheese, was cold and clear that it was not freshly cooked. There were bones in the chicken, which made it very awkward to eat. So many of these things she could have told me during our conversations about which meal to select, but instead they were unwelcome surprises.
