Noodle is one of the few places I thought was great when in College at Tech 10 years ago that I have revisited since moving back to Atlanta a year ago and actually still like =). While some of that might still be nostalgia, I guess I’m a sucker for a noodle place. I typically get a noodle dish, though I think I’ve gotten rice dishes a couple times and on my last visit about a week ago I had a noodle soup for the first time. The thing with Noodle’s stir fry bowls is they are a little hit or miss for me. Like if I like it(like the Thai basil) I really like it, but then there are others that are just… ‘meh’ to me. Somehow this doesn’t hinder my enthusiasm for visiting Noodle. The only appetizers I’ve gotten there(at least since moving back) are the veggie dumplings, which I think are OK, but not great(my bf likes em though). I had the Red Chili Udon Noodle Soup the other day and it was a bit bland. I was disappointed. I guess what I’m trying to say is, they have their dishes I think they do well but if I stray too far they are less impressive. Overall, I don’t have expectations it will be the most authentic, but I still find it to be good quality, fast, tasty, and cheap.

Fabulous Phở. Good stuff and quick. I will say maybe skip the fresh basil rolls. They did not seem at all fresh. Maybe bad timing, but definitely pre-made. I will certainly return for phở ga.

Good food and quick service. Patio seating is great with the right weather. Lot is kinda small so cross your fingers for a spot unless you walk.

I only tried one thing at this place. Their special pork belly soup. It wasnt on their main menu. The soup was a 4 star. The service was 4 star too. Prices were fair. What else does one want

Had Kung Pao Chicken and the Phở. Solid food, great staff. Food was a bit slow but that’s totally fair since the food was freshly cooked and loaded with spices! One place where you don’t need to use Sriracha sauce in the food!

I’ve enjoyed coming to noodle for almost 8 years now but today I realised how incredibly simple and poor quality a lot of the food was. I ordered Thai ice tea which tasted fine but I must admit I have no real comparison for how it should taste. For our meal we started with spicy Thai fries which were sweet potato fries with a nice spicy siracha based sauce. Then I had chicken wraps. I personally love the way they taste and I love being able to compile all the little wraps– it feels fun to eat in such an interactive way. My dining companions ordered the spicy basil noodle bowl and Thai peanut noodle bowl. Both of them had too many noodles in comparison with the veggies and meat. Furthermore both of them commented on the poor quality of the chicken. In fact they ate their respective bowls only after removing the chicken pieces. I was disappointed that they felt so let down by the taste and quality of the food but as an onlooker I can’t say they were far off with their conclusions about the dishes. For me– noodle is fast Thai food– don’t expect much more than that!

Dinner: On rainy days or cold nights — I crave soup. I went to the Noodle in Midtown, in search of Soup for the Soul. I’ve been to the other location, which is in Downtown College Park, and the food was –«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» not authentic at all. I decided to give this place a chance, since they have soups that their College Park location doesn’t. The soup was not the worst, but not the best. It was A-Ok. I’ve had the Spicy Udon Noddle, the Phở GA, and a few other ones. The soup is a combination of, good ingredients(vegetables), and bad ingredients(noodle, broth and to much sodium). Overall, I can probably curve my craving with NISSIN Cup-o-Noodle(1,200 mgs of sodium) or a MARUCHAN Instant Lunch at 35 cents a cup.

3 words — Famous*Fried*Rice I didn’t dine-in when I visited here yesterday but placed my order to-go because Noodle was swiftly recommended to me by a Tmobile employee while conducting business and in search of a quick meal. I have to state that the fried rice was okay priced, portioned and tasted amazing. The rice(opted for spicy) was so good and I had the options of chicken, beef and shrimp. As with most Asian establishments, the shrimp was lacking and by lacking, I mean I only ran into 4 pieces of shrimp in the entire meal. Literally lmao. I also didn’t enjoy ‘The sampler’ as much as I’d hoped. The Fried pork dumplings and veggie spring rolls were good but was not so crazy about the curry beef & shrimp basil rolls. I’ll also opt of out the soybeans for my fried-rice next time. The ambience was serene, relaxed & perfect for a lunch or dinner date. I saw a lot of couples and solo diners. Overall, a great place to stop by and would visit again to try out their soups & noodle bowls. **Side note** limited parking space for dash ins & pick-ups. They have about 6 – 7 spots for 15 min parking shared by a number of stores. I saw a guys car get booted!

I haven’t dined here enough times yet to comment on the quality of the entire menu BUT the chicken coconut soup and steamed vegetable buns were wonderful. I like to judge a place based on simple dishes anyways because if you can’t do those well, then why bother to try the rest of the menu? The soup was not dull at all. The coconut milk was the real stuff, just what my soul needed for the day and not skimpy on the chicken or protein of choice like some restaurants. I happened to be in a rush that day so I sat at the bar. The bartender(I REALLY wish I remembered her name, she was so helpful) was so quick and attentive. I happened to see her take Togo orders while I dined here and she must’ve had people in and out in 5 minutes flat. Due to the great service and food this time I will be back another time for sure! Parking is limited up front where it is free so expect to pay $ 6 for parking.

Phở — get about it. I was in town and craving some Phở. So I turned to Unilocal for help. This place was the closest to me, so I thought I would check them out. I ordered the phở and I was disappointed. Broth was not really a traditional phở broth. The meatballs were Italian style meatballs, the soup was bland, and the noodles tasting like pad thai noodles and not phở noodles. I was able to save the dish by mixing my own sauces of sriracha and hoisin sauce. I really shouldn’t have had to do this though. It was like I was making itIt was like I was making it at home. My wife had white rice that was not cooked all the way through, or it was left out too long because some of the rice was dry and some of the rice was not cooked all the way through. Maybe it was a bad day for them, but we both left very disappointed.

I was impressed by the size of the dishes. Most were priced at around $ 9 and for an average appetite, they were pretty good for 2 people. We all enjoyed our food but my Thai peanut noodle with beef was a tad salty, still good though. We also had a good service from Princess(waitress).

My favorite place to get really good Asian food! I moved to Florida a year ago and one of the things I was really upset about was losing this place as my number one spot. Luckily, I’m back to visit my family this week and I came here for lunch! The food is ALWAYS, and CONSISTENTLY delicious! Service is impeccable. The atmosphere is even better! They’re fried rice is amazing and authentic! I order it almost every time! I also get the steamed pork dumplings as an appetizer! Bring your friends and family! This place is never a let down! Always a pleasure coming back!

Aside from the friendly waiter, the food is not very appetizing at all. A friend of mine ordered a cute little bento box for her child which was literally steamed broccoli, steamed rice and steamed frozen chicken. I ordered the Thai salad which generally… when it comes to salads I am very lenient because well, they mainly consist of raw veggies with a dressing. I’m sorry but you don’t just decide to make a cilantro dressing, put grilled chewy beef on there and call it Thai or fusion. I tried my friend’s massaman curry as well as her bulgogi over rice. Nothing spectacular… you can honestly find much much much better places in Atlanta. When it comes down to your basic flavors… bland. HONESTLY, if your open to Asian cuisine, just go somewhere else. Not the best place to start.

I found a ROACH in my food! Thankfully, I had only taken a few bites. Still, ICK!!! I am an avid user of Scoutmob and I tried this establishment for that reason. After I found the roach, the server was very polite but she said she did not have the authority to remove the charge for the meal, only to have it prepared again despite the fact that I was no longer interested in dining there. She then got the owner for me(Lily) who stated that whie she had the authoity to remove the charge, she would not do so and encouraged me to have the meal prepared again or order domething else form the menu. I refused her offer and her insistence that I pay and she threatened to call the cops on me. I have never had such a horrible dining experience and I will NEVER return there.

Noodle is a great option if you want to grab and go some delicious Asian food. Since I live in Midtown, I will typically swing by that location. The restaurant has a parking lot, which is hard to come by in the area! Some of my go-to dishes include the chicken or tofu lettuce wraps(beware: you will get messy, but it’s worth it), the shrimp basil summer rolls(very light but still filling), the coconut chicken soup(I’m obsessed with this soup in general), and the kung pao with tofu(great flavors and mixtures of vegetables). I’ll usually order my meal to go, and the service is always great – I typically only wait around for 10 minutes(or call in from my home and drive right over to pick it up). I’m sure there are more«authentic» places, but Noodle is a great option for a flavorful, quick meal!

Found this restaurant on Unilocal as I was searching for asian food in the midtown area while we were visiting family. Got excited and called yesterday but apparently they had a fluke pipe bust due to weather so they were closed. The owner Larry answered my call and apologized and gave me his name and asked we try back the next day and explained how sorry he was. I actually did call the next night, tonight and ordered take out. Panang Noodle Soup AND Spicy Sweet Potato fries. Order was ready in 15 minutes and when I walked in, the hosts were super friendly. Told me to pick up at the bar where the bartender had my order waiting. Gave me hot sauce and utensils when she heard I was heading to the hotel to eat it. Cute place in the middle of 3 businesses on a corner off 8th and Peachtree. Got th e food back to the hotel and it was packaged great. Noodles separate from the soup and fires container had holes in the Styrofoam so it wouldn’t get soggy. The spicy Sriracha mayo sauce for the fries is amazing and they were seasoned awesome. The noodle soup was good but not the pungent taste I am normally used to for Panang. I added Sriracha and soy sauce to give it some more kick and that livened it up. Seems like a great place for trendy date night or girls night out. Great service and decent pricing.

I’m not coming back here. The food was an utter disappointment. I know this isn’t an authentic Asian restaurant you would find off Buford Highway or Pleasant Hill. However, this place doesn’t even compare to Tin Drum. I ordered the Pad Thai Noodles. Good portion. However, the noodles were not noodles. Imagine a bowl of soggy noodles except clumped together. It was as if they were frozen and they heated it up in the microwave. I’m not saying this is the case but that’s what it looked like. I had to break it apart so I could eat it. It didn’t taste great either. I got chicken with it and there was a good bit. The rice dishes looked okay based on what my co-workers ordered but it wasn’t appealing. If you’re craving Asian in the Midtown area go anywhere but here. You will be disappointed. My co-workers said they liked their food, but most likely wouldn’t come back either. Lunch is around $ 8 – 10. The dining area is very modern and clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Aside from that, not much else to say about this place. Also, there is no free parking unless you want to try parallel parking nearby. There is a pay lot right next to it though. You’re better off going to the Vortex across the street or eating leaves off the tree on the sidewalk.

Ill think about coming back here. 5% charge for To Go orders is unbelievable. A supply charge for what??? The 3 cent styrofoam container??? You people are out of your minds. 5% is enough to make me walk out and not come back. Ever. Be thankful your manager waived the fee this time. That might get me back in the door. The food is alright. Nothing to write home about.

Noodle is a Pan-Asian noodle restaurant with three locations in the Atlanta area: Midtown, Decatur, and College Park. This Midtown location is sandwiched in between Villains Wicked Heroes and a T-Mobile store on Peachtree St. Free parking is limited in this small shopping center, particularly out front, but you can find more spaces in the back. If it’s completely full, you’ll have to park on the street. The spots are metered by PARKatlanta. They’re free on Sunday and City holidays. Noodle Midtown is a trendy little spot. There’s a bar inside and patio seating outside. The interior features multiple high-top communal tables, modern light fixtures, and bold red and black wall paintings of these mystical looking humanoid figures playing musical instruments resembling flutes and horns. This restaurant is Pan-Asian because there are noodle dishes represented by several Asian countries. Examples include phở(Vietnam), panang curry(Thailand), udon(Japan), «jung bong»(jjampong, Korea), Singapore noodles, and lo mein(China). Examples of other foods served include dumplings, spring rolls, chicken satay(chicken skewers), soups, Asian salads(e.g. Thai beef salad, «Vietnamese cold noodle salad,» which I equate to bun), fried rice, fish, Korean bulgogi(shredded marinated beef), and«speedy» stir-fry bowls. Most of the appetizers are priced at $ 6 and up each. Noodle soups are priced at or just under $ 10 each. Entrees are roughly $ 12 – 14 each. We stopped here for lunch and tried the following: The Veggie Sampler($ 9) — steamed dumplings, spring rolls, and basil rolls Phở Ga($ 9) — Vietnamese noodle soup with grilled chicken, rice noodles, onions, and basil Panang Beef Noodle Soup($ 9) — spicy red curry and tamarind broth, vermicelli rice noodles, beef brisket, tomatoes, onions, and cilantro In general, the food wasn’t bad, but the Unilocal two-star«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» sums it up for me. If you want better tasting, more authentic versions of these dishes, you’re better off going to Buford Highway where you will pay similar or lower prices. In the Veggie Sampler, there were four Korean steamed dumplings, two crispy Thai spring rolls(cut into four pieces), and two Vietnamese basil rolls(cut into four pieces) — all containing veggies, no meat. The plate was nicely presented with a condiment for each type of food. The dumplings came with a brown dipping sauce, the spring rolls came with a mildly spicy mustard sauce, and the basil rolls came with a peanut-hoisin sauce. The rolls were OK and the veggies seemed fresh enough. The dumplings tasted like they’d been frozen and reheated. There are only two types of phở(beef or chicken) and one size(large). The phở comes with customary sides. Here, it’s bean sprouts, cilantro, jalapeño, and lemon. The sides were not fresh. The bean sprouts were soggy and discolored, not white and crisp. The cilantro was wilted and some parts were dark(bad). I’m surprised they served us this plate of old veggies. Also, the plate did not contain lime, basil, nor culantro which are standard at phở restaurants. The bowl of phở itself was average at best. The broth was so-so. The wide rice noodles and chunks of chicken(tender) were OK. The phở as a whole though fell short and vastly paled in comparison to Buford Highway phở. The Panang Beef Noodle Soup fared better. The broth in this noodle soup was a milky, creamy color. Presumably, coconut milk was used in the recipe. It was mildly spicy and had some nice flavor to it, though I think it could have been seasoned more. The shredded beef brisket was good and hearty. The rice vermicelli noodles were thin and appetizing. The chunks of tomato were piping hot. Not bad. The staff are polite and attentive. Bruce was our server and he did a magnificent job.
