Perimeter Bottle Shop

I went there at 7:00 unaware that they closed at 7 on sunday. There was another lighter couple in front of me and I asked them why they were waiting outside and the guy inside told them to wait. I waited out there with them until one of the workers came to the door and told us they were closed. As I started walking away (keep in mind I am African American women) they let the other couple on and when I started walking towards the door they SHUT THE DOOR IN MY FACE! I have never been so livid and felt so DISCRIMINATED AGAINST! I will be reporting them and pursuing further actions!

This seems to be the only liquor store in the entire area. Well it’ll work for me. We were searching for alcohol for over an hour. So we were so glad to find this place. Pretty much had everything we were looking for and more. Great variety. Huge parking lot. And the guy at the register was super helpful.

This liquor store is one of the very few liquor stores in the perimeter mall area, always clean and open until around 11pm. The lines can get long on the weekend but the prices seem reasonable and they offer a large variety of liquors/​wine. Friendly cashiers also.

They have an okay selection, but the staff don’t know their product and are not tremendously interested in helping customers.

Oh well, let’s go for a 5-​star review on that one. Some people will probably feel it’s overrated, I think not since I am a regular at this liquor store and have always been treated as such.
Selection: I have yet to trick them on a funky selection of liquor or wine. 50% of the time, they have the crazy liquor I’ve requested hidden somewhere on one of those shelves, and they know exactly where to find it. The other 50%: they’ll order it for me, and they have it in a blink of an eye on their shelves. That to me is great customer service.
Price-​wise: You will find price range for all your taste, whether it is cheap wine to offer to «bad» friends — Come on, don’t lie to me: you know you have some of those who just don’t have a clue on what they drink or consider that Bud-Light-Yeaser-what’cha’ma-call’it is the bomb (Now all I have to do is wait for my mailbox to fill in with those inquiries saying «were you talking about me in your review you D-​ranked reviewer!!» — wave virtual fist at the target in the signature) —
OR some very decent choice of liquor, whether it is some nice vodka that actually taste something without pretending to be a 35-​zillion times distilled, some flavorful single cask whiskey (signed to their shop if you please!) or a decent selection of wine to accompany one of your fav meals at home. Yes you are going to pay for those … So if you have a problem with that let me just remind you that there is a Walmart next door that will cater to your needs in that case ;)
The one thing that had me coming back to this location is the knowledge of the people serving you out there. I have yet to be disappointed by their recommendations. I was looking for a different type of gin, there I am with a brand that I truly enjoy with a slice of cucumber. I was pondering the selection of Sherry wine knowing that I’d waste half of the bottle in cooking: I got a decent price yet tasty bottle of sherry just for that purpose. I wanted a whisky that tasted different just to take a stab at something new, off I go with a whisky aged in rum cask that had me smiling happily … And so on and so forth.
That my friends is the key to this place: you have a question, you hesitate on what you would like to take out of there: just ask, there’s a good chance they have the right answer for you.
Now all I need to confirm that is a feedback from one of my friend to whom I bought a (supposedly — hopefully truly) good bottle of rum! :)

I used to live about a quarter mile from the store and went by often. I now live about 2 miles away and it’s still my go-​to store for liquor. Best prices around. The beer selection is good, but not great. The do keep a good selection of beer in the cold case, so I can always find something I like (and it’s cold). Would like to see a better beer selection, but the liquor selection is great and cheapest in the area, which keep me going back! I don’t think I’ve ever bought wine there, but I looked and the selection looks to be good.

Moderately priced, average selection. Pretty run-​of-​the-​mill liquor store, if you ask me. I have no negative things to say about it, but nothing over the top either.

Along with sister shop Cambridge Package Store at Johnson Ferry Rd,
they offer a huge variety of liquors, both bottom and top shelf, all reasonably priced. Both locations seem small from the outside but inside you’ll find hard to find ingredients and unique distilleries. Tucked away in their neighborhood settings, still a secret to many, one hidden by a small Kroger, south end and one overshadowed by the super WalMart, north end of Ashford Dunwoody. Add the incredibly warm owners and staff that greet clientelle with familiarity and you’ll agree that If you live in the area or ever shop Perimeter, this should be where you go to get your liquor.

This place is probably one of my fiancé’s favorite places to go for alcohol. They have a huge variety of liquors, both cheap and exquisite. They are reasonably priced. We’ve found things such as pomegranate liqueur and some very wonderful, expensive tequila as well. Their price for good vodka such as ketel 1, grey goose and three olives (my way of best gauging prices since it’s probably the hard liquor I use/​drink most) is very reasonable. Kind of funny to find a place like this tucked away in a center overshadowed by the super WalMart. If you live in the area, this should be where you go to get your liquor.
