Had not had a spicy po-boy for some time. Was really craving and looking forward to the treat I remembered a year or so ago. Man, what a disappoint. Added cheese and tomato. Good thing I did, because there was very little chicken. Decent fast service form the ladies, but left hungry.

Fast and friendly — biscuit melts in your mouth. The catfish is spicy and crunchy… Awesomeness. Cole slaw, catfish, and a hot biscuit hit the spot like nothing I’ve had at this airport in a while. Louisiana fast!!! Five stars for the excellent staff at this Popeyes location.

The best chicken I’ve tasted and special thanks to the employee Ralph. Fast and friendly service.

This was my first time going here. The food was good for fast food but OHMYGODTHESERVICE!!! It was horrible. Everyone seemed annoyed being there… very rude and seemed to hate answering any questions people had. They forgot something from every order in front of me which was 6 people.

Flew through her recently. The airport was packed and there was a long line here, but they were super quick and efficient! The staff here were so friendly and it seemed that others in line were regulars who were remembered. It seemed like they all enjoyed their work environment and were making jokes with each other. It made airport travel so much brighter. I had a chicken and biscuits, and that’s all you need to know!

Ok… it’s not everyday you expect a transformative experience when you swing thru fast food at an airport. But just when you least expect it you find perfection in surprising places. #Popeyes in #Terminal B at #ATL, across from gate 14, provided this experience today, setting a global bar for exceptional #customerservice from beginning to end. I was met in line by a smiling employee who quickly took my order when I was six people back from the counter. The line moved so fast with three cashiers working together like a well oiled machine, that I was at the counter in 30 seconds and met with two singing servers putting the orders together, which put a smile on everyone’s face around me. And this is when it really started getting good! I heard Dwayne’s voice, the Popeye’s host, asking if anyone needed a table, working his way down the line of customers. I would love one! He quickly took my drink order in advance, had an ice cold sweet tea, napkins and condiments waiting for me on the table which he had just bused and wiped down. I was through the very long line in under 60 seconds and absolutely blown away by the service. I spent the rest of my lunch watching a beautifully orchestrated lesson in how to treat customers the way we only get to dream about! The food quality is everything you’d expect from a Popeye’s. When in ATL in Terminal B, you have to stop by #thebestPopeye’s to see true perfection in customer service! Well Done!

Near Gate B 15. Just be ready to order when you walk up. This place gets busy. My guilty pleasure during ATL stopovers.

If you can be clear enough with what you want to order in a nanosecond, you will get your food and get on to your flight. You will not get a greeting. You will not get a smile, and if you mess with the machine total chaos may ensue, but you will get Popeyes not good enough to say yum but won’t kill you either chicken and their Morton biscuits(named after the salt company whose product could be 70% of their biscuit, also called the hypertension hockey puck to those in the know.). Not bad, but there are much better options, particularly in terminal F, if you have a longer layover.

Oh my god, this place is awesome!!!(And very tiny) I initially came from Louisiana to here as a connection flight and had time to kill so I walked around to look for something good to eat and I saw a lady walk right past me holding a bag with the Popeyes Logo and I was excited because i have a soft spot for chicken. I went to the store and there was a huge rush but a lady came forward me and asked to take my order, I ended up getting a three piece combo with coke and mash potato and a extra order or dirty rice. When i got my food I quickly found a seat and started eating completely forgetting to get my drink since I got a combo meal. I asked the lady if i was supposed to get my drink and she offered to grab it for me even though they were busy.(So sweet) There is a gentleman there working as a bus boy who quickly makes work of the tables and gets you things that he believes you need such as napkins and straws which in my book excels at service! He zoomed right past my table and secretly dropped a napkin with a straw and spork since I didn’t grab one prior to sitting down. I personally told the receptionist about how I felt about the chicken and the quality of service and she mentioned me to the manager and the manager personally thanked me for simply passing on kind words, I personally hope they they have a blessed time as this place is simply put, the best I’ve been to yet. Now to the food, the chicken is simply AMAZING. I haven’t eaten chicken cooked that freshly in forever, and I’ve been eating chicken for a very long time. It was fresh and juicy and when i pulled the skin and the meat apart, I had steam come off of it and straight into my face.(Almost burned my fingers while i was at it too.) The biscuit that this place serves put Popeyes from my state to shame it’s so fresh and fluffy that it fell apart as I ate it, which to me is the best kind you can get for your money and it makes sense that they offered a 15 biscuit box if desired. This place is simply a must if you’re here on connection or simply just visiting the location and want what true Popeyes chicken tastes like.

This is my first time at the Hartsfield Airport and I had no idea what the service at the Hartsfield Airport Popeyes would be like. Sadly, it was far worse than any other Popeyes restaurant I’ve ever dealt with. There were four employees there, working shoulder to shoulder, but despite their close proximity to each other, couldn’t seem to communicate with each other. The first employee took my order(Two large red beans & rice, one large Cajun fries and one grilled chicken sandwich), and wrote my name(Steve) on two paper bags. Perhaps a minute or two later another employee starts calling out, «STEVE! ISTHERE A STEVEHERE? STEVE? STEVE?» I was standing just a few inches away from her and said, «I’m Steve.» «YOUHAVETWOREDBEANSANDRICEAND A LARGECAJUNFRY?» she asked me, yelling like a drill sergeant. «Yes,» I confirmed, «Two large red beans and rice and a large Cajun fries». «ALSO A GRILLEDCHICKENSANDWICH?» «Yes,» I confirmed, «One chicken sandwich.» I ended up confirming my order with her and one other employee about three or four times. Both with her and another employee who also shouted like a drill sergeant. I thought this was ridiculous. In most fast-food restaurants I only have to give my order information to one employee and I only have to do it once. And traditionally none of the employees yell like drill sergeants. The cashier also asked what was on my order, so I confirmed with her as well that I was supposed to get two large red beans and rice, one large Cajun fries and one grilled chicken sandwich. My bill came to eighteen dollars and some change. I paid the cashier and took my food to my boarding gate, approximately 300 yards away from the Popeyes restaurant and when I opened my bags I discovered that(despite the fact that I had told FOUR employees everything that was on my order), that my grilled chicken sandwich(which I had paid $ 5.17 for) was not in either bag. I realize that fast food employees aren’t paid very much, but when I give my order information to FOUR employees at a restaurant I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect that they should give me all the food that I paid for.

NPS = 7 Cheap, fast, and friendly. Because it’s ATL, I always find myself almost sprinting to terminals. I always feel like I’m in a hurry in this airport because the connecting gates are always so far apart. Because of the hurry, I’m always looking for a quick bite so I can keep on working out, A.K.A. my 100-yard dash. Popeye’s delivers fast. They write your name on a bag, throw whatever you ordered in it while you pay, and then you grab your drink as you walk away. Efficient. The whole concept of Southern hospitality obviously doesn’t apply here as you’re in and out in about 5 minutes or less. The breakfast menu is lacking, but the chicken is as juicy as can be. I like it spicy with a extra side of hot sauce. If you’re sprinting down Concourse B, this is the place to be. If you have time, go somewhere else.

I normally love the shit out of Popeye’s, but my experience here was rather disappointing. The line was quick which was nice, but I told the first girl what I was going to have and she was just like«k,» and passed our bag onto the next worker in line. I got my bag of food, and it was literally just all thrown in there, and my mashed potatoes were upside down and gravy was starting to leak out. I forgot to get some ranch, and asked the guy serving drinks if I could get some, and he literally just looked at me and said, «cashier.» So rude. So I went over to the cashier, asked for some ranch, and she just shoved it into my hand without saying anything. I’m glad we were just passing through here, because I would never make the effort to come back here with the lack of customer service they provide. The chicken was greasy and wasn’t as crispy as it normally is, which was disappointing. If you’re passing through this airport and get excited about seeing a Popeye’s, tone down the happiness because you’re about to be treated like shit!

Really nice staff, went beyond the general expectations for fast food employees. It was much appreciated. The food, well, you know… popeyes. Its so good but you know it’s sooo bad!

I love the food, but the service is remarkably rude. They deliver the«lines» as they are instructed, but they make little effort to hide the bored look on their faces, showing indifference to the customers, often rolling their eyes. Heaven help the poor patron that speaks broken English. I agree with the other post — the fellow that helps customers find a table is terrific, but the ladies behind the counter really need to be encouraged to find some other line of work — customer service is not their calling.

Chicken is good, people are not. If you know the half gallon container is leaking and the top doesn’t fit, and comes right off, why give it to someone? What kind of sense does that make? Also, at night there’s some smoking man in a pimp suit asking for change. And they know, they even talk to him. He’s creepy as hell.

I have eaten here a couple times before, in between flights with a long wait for my next plane. It is a great location and the employees are very friendly. Customer service is pretty good, especially for people who work in a fast food joint. My party and I ended up joking around with the lady taking orders because she was so nice. They get what they need done and have a constant flow of traffic. The only bad thing is that they have a limited seating area, so most likely you will have to go to your gate to eat. Overall, this is a good grab and go type of place. They are super fast and get you checked out, with your food in hand, in less than 5 minutes. The cooks are always cooking to keep the food up front and available for them to get your meal put together. Food choices galore too! I love that because they are in the airport they have breakfast. You will be able to find something to eat here because of that factor. I enjoy the spicy and mild tenders combo meal with their seasoned fries. Always a classic! The other people in my party went the breakfast route and got biscuits and gravy, the sausage biscuit sandwich, and the chicken biscuit sandwich. They ended up getting hash-browns with their meals which I thought was a cool substitute! We all enjoyed our meals and had the ability to sit down and talk before our plane came. Popeye’s is something we tend to grab at home too, so its not like I am indifferent to their food. This location does impress me though and for airport food, service, and speed, they definitely have it down pat! I wish the location in my hometown was a great as this one! If I ever fly again and land in Atlanta, this will be on the top of my list for a snack. My rating system– 5: Amazing! I would definitely recommend to anyone. I will come back again and again! 4: This place is pretty great in my book. I will be back. It is better than just average. 3: This place is okay, average. I might come back, especially if I am in the area. 2: This place just does not hit the mark for me. Probably will not come back, unless invited or majority of my party wants to. 1: I will not come back here ever. You could not force me inside of this place. Too mediocre.

If you love Popeye’s chicken as we do, you won’t be disappointed in this location. Red beans and rice, biscuits and the chicken itself tastes like the real thing not a cut corners, smaller portions, half assed preperation that happens so often in airport locations. Just save time to wash your greasy fingers before boarding!

This is a must stop place whenever I am in the Atlanta airport. Where I am from, we do not have the spicy chicken tenders at all at any of our Popeye’s so when I’m down for a visit, this is what I crave the whole trip. The food is prepared fresh and the people working there are exceptionally nice. They are quick to clear off the tables and a few times have asked if I needed utensils, sauces, etc. as I sat down to eat my chicken. The service is quick and I love returning to this location in my travels.

So delicious! Ordered the chicken tenders meal. The chicken was lightly fried to a juicy, crispy perfection. The biscuit are by far the best you can get anywhere. When you are at the ATL, this place is a must!
