Premier Fitness Source is a very interesting store. I came upon it online one day while considering purchasing a treadmill or rowing machine to put in the family room and hop on while watching TV. The thing was, I have a general distrust of in-home gym equipment, because I’ve seen so many pieces relegated to being expensive dust collectors. So I was wondering if I could rent a piece of equipment to try it for a couple months and see how much I used it before buying. When I googled this intention, Premier Fitness Source popped up as pretty much the only company offering this option to rent before fully committing. The website wasn’t user friendly or informative at all, so my boyfriend and I stopped in there on a Saturday and a very nice lady gave us all sorts of information about the rental program, the buying option, costs, etc. While we didn’t end up renting gym equipment from them(it was quite pricey, especially when compared to how much people on Craigslist are selling perfectly good equipment for), I was impressed with how many different varieties of treadmills(including walking desk treadmills) they had. If you knew you only needed a piece of equipment for a limited amount of time, or a gym just isn’t your thing, this might be a good alternative.
