I recently visited the beautiful city of Atlanta on a business trip. I stayed at the St. Regis Hotel in the Buckhead area. My stay at the hotel was wonderful, and my coworker and I decided to enjoy a spa day. The front staff was wonderful, I remember my concierge’s name to be Bree and she was absolutely delightful. I got a Facial by Jacqueline, and a massage by Theo and it was superb. All until I went to check out. The lady that checked me out was mean, rude, nasty and made me feel as if I was unimportant and my business did not matter. She was so nasty, that I will be sure to never attend, a well as let EVERYBODY know that this will be a WONDERFUL place to attend, as long as it’s Tatiana’s day OFF!

Had a great sports massage. Good facilities with steam room and sauna. Ask for Theo Jones and ask him to tell you about Miki Freek

I gave Remede another chance and this time requested a different esthetician. Last time I had a lady who prattled on about all the Hollywood stars she knew who came into Remede and then tried to sell me every kind of product they had. I was very turned off and swore never to come back to Remede. My wife loves Lindsey, so for Christmas she scheduled me for a 90 minute facial with Lindsey. This was an entirely different experience. Lindsey was very pleasant, intelligent and articulate to talk to but she also gave time for quiet, like when she did the neck massage. This was great, because it’s always nice to get to know the person helping you and have them educate you, but it’s also good to relax as part of the whole process. I could go into all the different things she did, but frankly it wouldn’t really matter, because it was clear to me that Lindsey was customizing her treatment based upon my skin and my desires. I appreciated that, and I’m sure she does the same for each of her clients. I felt like Lindsey also went a step beyond, in that she blended up some essential oils that she used at various times. I love aromatherapy and her concoctions were excellent and relaxing. The St. Regis facilities themselves are great. I need to make sure I get there earlier so I can have more time in the lounge, which is really nice and allows you to unwind; there are several kinds of teas and refreshments. Lindsey did sell me a new face wash, without really trying. The softsell works much better at a place like the St. Regis than the huckster approach of my first appointment. I will be back, but I’ll only see Lindsey! As far as price, I don’t do many spas, but the 90 minute facial with tip came out around $ 260, which seems high to me, but my wife said was about right, so make your own call on that one. To me it was worth it.

So, I needed a nice day off — a staycation in the city. Ummmm, perhaps I should have gone somewhere else. The ambiance is nice, but that’s to be expected, it’s the St. Regis. The spa staff was less than friendly. My massage was just blah, with very little effort and energy on the masseuse’s part. Perhaps she wasn’t use to working hard but I had to continue asking for more pressure. The best part was the paraffin foot treatment. My nail technician was kind. She was quiet, which I guess was fine since my massage wasn’t too relaxing, but she chopped my nails off. I got a shellac manicure and enjoyed the hand massage and paraffin wrap on my hand, but she cut my nails very short. When she was cutting them I asked her not to cut them too short for fear that filing them would make them really, really short and she responded warmly. However, I still left with nubs. There were a few air bubbles in the polish and the paint did not last long. I literally could peel it up in one piece in about 5 days. The color(Walk This Way) was beautiful, but I was too ashamed to show it to people for fear they’d ask me how long I’ve been biting my nails. On a positive note, the fruit trays were plentiful as was the containers of nuts and water dispensers. But, if you’re looking to be catered to and to receive great customer service, perhaps you should go somewhere else. You will be disappointed.

Just got back from a spa trip for our sisters weekend and it was fabulous! I had a gift certificate from SpaFinder Wellness and was looking to redeem it at an Atlanta spa. We wanted to try something new so I booked us two Remede Customized Wraps online. The first sign of good service was when I received a call a few hours after my online booking when I was told we couldn’t have two wraps done at the same time since only one room accommodates this service. We changed it to back to back appointments. It was great that someone called us about this beforehand rather than finding out during check-in that there was an issue. The actual session was amazing. Lainey was very professional and great at what she does. She makes you feel comfortable and keeps you updated on what she’s doing. While wrapped up in the mud cocoon, I got a great head and foot massage along with a mini-facial. After washing off, she took me into a massage room to moisturize and massage. So so wonderful! During each others’ wraps, my sis and I would take advantage of the sauna and steam room. Everything is absolutely beautiful in this spa. I highly recommend Remede for the ultimate relaxation!

Beautiful spa, but when I arrived, the snooty front desk guy was arguing w one of the women there about something. I had a good facial, but the girl was 30 minutes late and my appt was 15 minutes short. I told snooty front desk man this when he told me I owed $ 35 for the tip. He didn’t respond to that, just typed on his screen for 5 or 10 minutes while I stood there holding my credit card out. I finally asked him if he realized I was standing there waiting to pay, he said that his computer wasn’t ready for that yet. There was no apology for either of the waits and no apology for shorting my appt 15 min and overcharging me for the last 15 minutes I paid for but didn’t get. There are so many good spas in Atlanta w well-mannered employees who actually care, so it’s just not worth the xtra $$$ to go to remede. That was my first and last time.

My hubby set up a spa day for me for my first Mother’s Day this year. I chose to go the Sunday after mother’s day because i wanted to avoid the crowd and feeling rushed. I got a customized facial with Belinda, and it was truly the best facial I’ve received(which included the foot and shoulder massage). My skin felt smooth as new. The staff was welcoming and the spa amenities are exceptional. Yes you’ll def. pay more for facial and massages here but for a special event its def worth it. They also offer specials on travelzoo and groupon so take advantage of those special if you want to try it out at half the cost!

There is no doubt that Remede Spa is luxurious and gorgeous. But the customer service leaves much to be desired! I visited recently for a massage and mani/pedi. The massage was outstanding but the good experience ended there. I had a gift card that they couldn’t find a record of ~ the manager even went so far as to mention that the card«surely looked authentic». They made me feel like I was committing fraud! They even interrupted my mani/pedi service to ask me for contact information for my in-laws(who gave me the gift card). In the end they made me pay for my services in full and didn’t honor my card(close to $ 400). Weeks later I get a call from the manager saying that they had reimbursed my credit card for the gift card amount but actually they shorted me by $ 2! It’s not the $ 2 obviously, just the principle of not giving me the full gift card amount after embarrassing me during my visit. I wrote a letter to the corporate office and in the end have been offered a room at the St. Regis for a «discounted» rate of $ 245 in return for my trouble! Please, I beg you, spend your money at any of the terrific spas in Atlanta and don’t give a cent to this place.

Remede offers a luxury spa experience complete with all the amenities. I enjoyed a customized massage that included my choice of aromatherapy and a paraffin foot treatment. My therapist, Will, promised the best massage of my live and for our first time together, it was exceptional. He listened to my body and gave just the right pressure on my problem areas making this a standout treatment. Afterwards, I enjoyed the roomy steam bath followed by waterfall shower. As a self-confessed spa junkie, I would definitely revisit this top spa, hopefully as a hotel guest(the pool deck looks awesome).

Much like the St. Regis Hotel that houses it, the Remede Spa is definitely in the top tier of luxurious destinations. Any spa I’ve been to in Atlanta pales in comparison to this indulgence. From heavily-paneled walls, to lush couch settings, to champagne, fruit and truffle treats, to wide open and well-stocked bathroom spaces, its easy to see why any celebrity or «Atlanta Housewife» finds themselves at home in these surroundings. I came for a facial, and not only was my girl Jacqueline a total delight, I swear she took 10 years off of my face. She started with a microderm treatment, followed by a mild peel and then an oxygen treatment. Of course, the table was so comfortable I almost fell asleep. The neck and foot massage were a nice touch. Even after my service, I took my time getting ready, using all the available stocked items in the bathroom and freshening up before I left. Of course, getting a facial here is slightly more expensive than the usual run-of-the-mill spa in Atlanta, but here you truly get what you pay for. The spa also carries Bliss products — which are some of the best in the industry. This is the spa to come to before your wedding, for your birthday or for any special occasion. Make sure you ask for Jacqueline — she’s very good at what she does and you will definitely leave looking a lot younger than going in.
