The staff, management, bar tenders, and chefs are awesome! I’ve been a patron for some time however, recent management has increased my time here. It’s a nice vibe for a quite dinner or a great place to meet new people and just socialize. Definitely a place on the rise!

It was so bad. Specially for the price. I’ll summarize it: Pros: location was close to Americasmart(12 min walk) convention center It was almost empty so it’s easy to get a table Service was fast Cons: Food is just not good. The menu is pretty limited. The fish from the sushi was old, and you could taste that. The rolls were nothing spectacular also the fried calamari came cold and soaking in oil. Pretty gross. I was not impressed. The food is just not good. And definitely not worth the price.

I went here for a birthday dinner at the recommendation of my boyfriend’s brother. The valet was nice and helpful but a little slow. when you walk in, you’re in the lobby of a hotel. There was a very VERY loud live singer, which was an immediate turn off to us both. The host was dressed in a casual orange striped polo, which for such an expensive meal, you’d expect something a little nicer. We had made reservations although we were just seated wherever. The menu had next to no descriptions. We ordered the flash fried calamari, not knowing it came submerged in a tangy honey mustard sauce which neither of us like. The waitress was sometime attentive sometimes not. I ordered the fillet mignon, mashed potatoes, and lobster tail. My boyfriend ordered the salmon and mashed potatoes. His salmon was rather bland and my lobster was strangely over cooked. The mashed potatoes were odd but not bad. I will give them this, the fillet mignon was to die for. Overall, I won’t go back. It was much too expensive for the food we received.

I was not impressed… Are server took forever to come to are table and take our order. Wasn’t knowledgeable about the menu and didn’t seem to care to be there. Not only was the main entrée overly sauced(to much blood orange glaze) on my chicken. It over powered my taste buds. So I got vegetables & mash potatoes and was charged $ 25.00(server never explained pricing details to me). I then talked to the manger who took forever to get to the table. He told me that they weren’t trying to sway away from the pre set menu. And, the server had asked several times(per manager) if I could only have veggies and mash potatoes. He then made it seem like they went above and beyond for me. Not knowing that the set up I was asking… for they had already had been prepped and ready to go. Long story short, it was Rachet as Hell… Looks like all the jump offs go here to be private. Icing on the cake we where charged a 21% Gratuity… After a very unpleasant and awful experience we still had to tip over 20% for bad service and bad food??? WTF Twelve Hotel!!! I know for a fact a law got passed a year and a half ago that it is illegal to add gratuity to parties…(I want my money back!!)

I go to Room A LOT because I have friends that live in the building. We tend to eat at the bar, where the service is excellent and the bartenders treat everyone like a regular. Every now and then we venture into the dining room, with not-so-great results. From the birthday brunch debacle of April 2014, where we waited 2 hours for our food to come out, to hit or miss service when they are not busy(which is most of the time), to the old, literally smelly steak they tried to serve to two friends about a month ago. But finally yesterday’s sh*t show officially threw me over the edge: the waitress tells us our timing is great because they have just finished serving a party of 30, and takes our food and drink orders. Immediately, the birthday boy’s heart is broken because that giant party ate all the French toast(the sole reason for even bothering to eat here on this day), but he rallies and orders pancakes, and the rest of us order as well. 15 minutes later the 2 bar drinks come out, and 10 minutes after that the coffee comes out, after reminding them. Then all the food slowly comes out, except mine. Waitress returns, makes a face that I think was supposed to be cutesy and says in a squeaky voice«Don’t hate me. I didn’t enter your order.» You know, stuff happens, I get that, but she should displayed some professionalism when delivering the news instead of acting like a goofy fool. She offered me a fruit salad while they made my order, topped with days old strawberries, in an unfortunate attempt to smooth things over. When my crab cake sandwich finally came out, the crab cake was lukewarm, as if it has been sitting under the heat lamp and not fresh off the pan. I expected my sandwich to be comped — because that’s the universal«sorry we forgot your food» fix, right? — but it wasn’t. When the bills came back 4 of us asked for validation of our valet tickets, and she didn’t bother to keep them in order or identify them. Ugh. Due to the convenience, and the fact that the food and bar are very good, I’ll be back(keeping it real) but never again in that mediocre dining room.

I just had a great meal sitting at the sushi bar. Great service by my S African server, the GM stopped by and the head chef said hello. I had the trout, asparagus and some nigiri. The sushi was great, albeit a bit small. The trout was fantastic and the asparagus was perfectly cooked. The Unilocal check-in was a great deal — I had free Molten Choc Lava Cake. It was a bit less lava than I prefer but it was still delish! Good wine & decent draft beer selection. I’d definitely be back!

My husband and I stopped here for dinner tonight. We’re staying at the Hilton a few blocks away and he was having a serious steak craving. We are both so over the chain steak houses like Ruth Chris’s and Mortons so we went on Unilocal and found this place(We’re from NYC/LA and have pretty high expectations when it comes to steak… peter Luger is our usual standard of perfection). This restaurant is on the first floor of the Twelve Hotel/apartments on a cute street(on the right of the zip car place). The décor was very modern and clean, we were seated right away. Our server, Tiera, made our experience extra welcoming. She was knowledgeable and a very attentive server. I went with a seafood/sushi route and ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna salad and the sweet and sour roll. Both of them were very delicious, and the fish tasted fresh on both. I highly recommend trying both! My husband got the 18oz rib eye(I Stole a bite and it was Amazing! Crusted with brown sugar… yummmm!) it came with a great side of asparagus and smashed garlic potatoes. They also have a decent beer/wine list. On top of being tastier then chain steak houses, the pricing was also great. Both our foods, plus a few beers was under $ 100. This place is quality, and should not be missed if you’re staying in the area!

This place is a hidden gem! The food here was absolutely delicious. We were a little concerned when we got there at 8pm on a Saturday night and there were only 10 people there. I believe it is due to poor management and marketing by Concentrics Restaurants who manages the place. Our server was clueless on the food and drinks but luckily since they were slow, the manager came by to chat with us and not only filled us in on his favorites but brought the sushi chef over to meet us. The chef even completely customized a roll for my wife based on one she had eaten at a Japanese restaurant. I would absolutely go back here as the food was delicious and the manager there made our evening very enjoyable. Hope that the hotel that it is in as well as Concentrics gets their act together and starts promoting what a great restaurant they have.

I don’t remember the last time I had this much luck! Staying in a hotel and being happy with the restaurant never happens. This place gave us the best service and a delicious dish to go along with it. Dinner was phenomenal and our waitress Ronnica was a highlight as well. We enjoyed our experience so much that we had to go back for breakfast. Round two was perfect! Cyrena our waitress was very sweet and welcoming. Breakfast was from heaven.

When my party and I first walked through the door we were greeted with awesome customer service. The table was beautifully decorated. The food was extremely good and I had the steak salad. This was the freshest and best salad I have ever had… the steak was cooked to perfection… There menu and food prices were extremely reasonable which was quite surprising because the ambience is very upscale… awesome place and I highly recommend everyone try it…, I promise you will not be disappointed… If you go during lunch you get a free lunch after going 5 times…

I was in town for a convention, and since Room was just around the corner, I decided to give it a try. I was a little concerned when I walked into a nearly empty restaurant, especially when I felt like I was being ignored by the hostess who was on the phone with someone. I decided to stick with the plan and have a seat at the sushi bar. I am glad I did. The sushi chef and the wait staff were friendly and accomodating. I ordered the dragon roll which was delicious and the room roll was very good as well. I chose the peach cobbler for my free dessert,(make sure you check in to get your coupon), was tasty too. I will definitely give it another try when I am back in the area.

Once we arrived, we waited a bit for the actual kitchen to open. We had gotten there about 30 minutes too early and was only able to order at the bar. Needless to say, that menu was very limited. We sat in the waiting area until about 5:30. Once seated, I had the calamari appetizer, which was phenomenal. As a meal I ordered the seafood pasta(delicious) but the Room Burger and fries were unimpressive… Huge portions but lacking a bit in flavor/seasonings. The service was okay… We were the only couple in there but still had a longer than expected wait. Honestly… I will come back for the two appetizers I had, plus it’s close to work. Oh … Be sure to check in with the Unilocal app for the free desert! I ordered the salted caramel cheesecake… OMG heaven sent!

Went walking in search of dinner, thinking there was a Greek place nearby. I never found the Greek place, but the search led me past ROOM at Twelve, so I stopped in for some sushi. I was greeted by multiple staff members, and given a menu quickly(I sat at the sushi bar). I chose the(what I think was called) ROOM Roll and some white tuna sashimi. The roll was spicy tuna, avocado, and cucumber inside with tuna and salmon on top, topped off with roe. I’m usually disappointed by overly creative sushi concoctions, but this was really delicious. And the white tuna was fresh, good quality tuna. And by checking in on Unilocal,I was treated to a free dessert. I chose the bread pudding, «infused» with pear and amaretto. It came out hot with a scoop of ice cream and caramel drizzle, and it was honestly the best bread pudding I’ve ever had. I was also impressed that they carried Bulleit Rye. I’m from Louisville, and have visited Bulleit’s distillery there. They have only been distilling a rye whiskey for a few years, and I thought it was our little secret, so to find it several hundred miles away was a surprise and a treat. The price was on the high end, but not outrageous for a downtown restaurant located inside an upscale hotel. I’ve paid more for far worse. Service was fast and friendly(say hi to Alpha while here — he’s a super nice guy). If you’re in town on business, and you love sushi, I definitely recommend checking this place out. After one visit, it ranks in my top 3 sushi places.

I went here after I came from my internship. I sat at the bar and waited. There was one person working the bar and he was nice and courteous. I ordered the. Strawberry basil lemonade cocktail and waited for my order of flash fried calamari and turkey burger. The fried calimari tossed in sweet chili sauce with wisabi sauce on top was so yummy and addicting. The turkey was OK. The bun was lukewarm and hard so I didn’t eat it. The service is good and helpful. One thing though. When I tried to cash in my free dessert with Unilocal check in the server says they don’t do that anymore but he was nice and gave me the free dessert anyway. So no more free dessert with Unilocal check in. They also don’t take discover card. My experience was overall good. The menu is kind of pricey but oh well. I will come back for the calamari.

They were very tasty and worth the experience, although a tad pricey. 1. California rolls: these were $ 8 for 8 pieces, roughly 2x as expensive than anywhere else. 2. Seared scallops: this was really tasty and I loved it, they put it on a bed of some kind of grain and sauce and the taste was marvelous. I asked for it to be more well-done and they nailed it. But it was $ 27 for 3 scallops. Mind you, they were sizable scallops but oh so expensive! 3. The ice cream was a bowl of vanilla ice cream, nothing extraordinary – and if you checked in on Unilocal,it’s free, so no complaints :) Overall, I’d say it’s definitely quality food and service – if you’re willing to pay the price.

I had high expectations for this restaurant. It was beautiful, the lobby was elegant… then I started encountering the staff. The bartender on staff was very friendly and made a wonderful Jack Daniels and Coke. No complaints with the bar. The hostess, on the other hand was not the friendliest person. Then, there was the server [Name Redacted]. He started off beautifully, and was on his toes regarding a typo I noticed on the menu, very informative about the menu items and our selections. He took everyone’s order and for some reason only four of our party of five received their food. The last person not only did not receive their food, it was completely forgotten! Who does that? A glaring error, and no apologies were levied. No adjustments were made to my friend’s check either, and to cap the awful service the waiter asked, «do you still want the food?» Better him than me! My entrée was just average. I ordered the grilled salmon and asparagus. While tasty, it wasn’t anything to write home about. A little nit: I ordered grilled salmon, and they also have seared salmon on the menu. I received seared salmon – as noted by the searing on both sides of the fish. Meh, whatever. The calamari was some of the best I’ve ever tasted in Atlanta… so…there was that. Never returning. I should’ve followed my first mind. After my first encounter with the hostess I assumed this place will be ratchet. It was.

I made a reservation for my company to have dinner here while in town for a conference. It was super easy to make a reservation online and they had plenty of availability. The day of the reservation, we had to make last minute changes to the time two times and again it was easily done online with no conflict! I was actually late for my own reservation that I set up because I ended up walking the wrong direction but upon arrival my colleagues who had come from a client happy hour were obviously tipsy and hanging out at the bar having a drink. I could tell they were being a tad loud but the bartender was awesome in keeping them occupied until the remainder of our table got in. I give them props for that! They took us to our table which was in a private little space with a sheer curtain that you could close. Also to mention, in my reservation notes I requested to have the table placed in an area with good lighting because our table primarily would be using Sign Language. They set us up in a great space with great lighting! The server who I can’t remember her name was so wonderful and patient with us. She used the best adjectives in describing the menu and was just so sweet. We absolutely loved her. She also put up with our questions and interesting conversations that she continuously had to walk into. The poor woman! Our table ordered; A bottle of white wine A bottle of red wine Flash fried calamari — sambal syrup, fresno peppers, parsley California rolls GA trout — pecan crusted, garlic sauteed spinach, orange burre blanc Room burger — aged white cheddar, bacon, sweet onion jam, sesame seed bun Seared salmon — baby bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, sherry reduction Fettuccine pasta — seafood, spinach, red peppers, mushrooms, parmesan cream Pan seared chicken breast — summer succotash, fresh herbs, roasted chicken jus The food was very good. Very fresh and well prepared. Atmosphere is great. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Would definitely come back!

It’s on the better side of Hotel Restaurants, which is to say it’s not going to knock your socks off, but it’s a lot better than most hotels. I work across the street, so occasionally some group of us will find reason to eat here. It works well for a business lunch. I have been there with groups of up to about 10 or 12. They have a private room or two that works well for a quiet discussion. I have never been at night, just lunch. The burger is good. If you want to make yourself feel better about a burger, they have a turkey version that is just fine. Sushi is a great choice and it’s also good. They have some great soups, the most memorable of thise is a lobster bisque, again — nothing wrong with it at all… The staff is attentive as you would expect to meet the demands of a mostly business crowd.
