Such a wonderful place to sip and paint and just enjoy friends and family. The atmosphere was just right everyone got alone it’s was just a great experience. You was able to bring your own food & drink so that was a plus in my book. I will definitely go again

I must say I really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere was loud due to everyone having a great time and the instructor teaching. I went in thinking that we would actually have to draw the picture then paint it, but the picture was already drawn and all we had to do was paint. The instructor gave very good details on how to get a certain color, and she also told us we could freestyle it to determine which color we liked best. You’re able to bring your own food and wine, and this may be the reason why it was so loud because a lot of people were in their«tipsy» zone. The calendar originally said that the class starts at 2 pm but it didn’t start until 2:30, this was okay for the late comers. It was very relaxing and enjoyable and I highly recommend this place as a girls day out, date night, or if you just want to let your artistic side out.

i had wanted to try a BYO painting place for a long time and we finally came for my friend’s birthday in October. We came on a Saturday and had the option of painting a peacock or a wine glass/bottle. We had a great time and all came out with our own unique paintings. They took pauses throughout the night to do live auctions/drawings as a fundraiser for Make a Wish and one of my friends actually won something! The instructors were good and helpful. The space is tiny and fits about 100 people so you’re pretty much butt to butt with the person behind you and be careful not to spill the person next to you’s wine!(or mistake it for a water cup…) I’m docking this down to three stars because of two main things: 1. Time/organization. The event was meant to start at 7, and they noted that you should show up at 6:30 to get your painting stuff all set up. We showed up at 6:30 — 6:45, sat down… and didn’t start painting until 8. We had enough time to finish the wine we brought, go over to publix to get more and grab some food and come back. While some people came early, most people showed up at or after 7 and while starting late is partially on those people, they were filed into one single line so it took FOREVER to get through all of them. It seems like it would make more sense to have multiple registration tables outside since the registration/asking for donation part took the longest. It was fine because we were just hanging out, but we did expect it to actually start at 7… 2. Price/Value At $ 35 each for what was eventually 2 hours of entertainment(since it started at 8) price pretty steep compared to other activities. It was fun and for a birthday, but on a casual night it wouldn’t be worth it for that price. I know they do $ 20 on Tuesdays and that seems much more manageable. If I wanted to go back for a date night though, $ 70 without dinner is a little too baller for me.

I went here last night for my girlfriend’s bday party. Where do I start? The owner was so unprofessional. I went to the sips n strokes last month in Sandy Springs and they were amazing… but this lady was horrible. The rules are that no one can enter after 7pm which is when they are suppose to start, well she kept accepting people until 8:30pm!!! How rude was that for those of us who had gotten there on time. She has no respect for people’s time, all she cared about was that almighty dollar. To add to that she packed us in like a bunch of rats who barely had elbow room to paint. She was not entertaining at all, she was more of a drill Sargent, she took the fun out of creativity. I had fun because I was celebrating my friend’s bday but I will NEVER return to this location. go to the Sandy Springs/Atlanta location, they treat u right and you’ll have a blast!

I went with my sorority sisters and surprisely we had a blast. I didn’t think that sitting down painting would be any fun. They provided cups for your drinks.(FYI it’s BYOB). The instructor were very nice and laid back. I would definitely come back to this location. Parking is hit or miss but its in a shopping center so it’s expected.

I came here visiting Atlanta on vacation. I have been to a drink and paint place like this in Las Vegas where I live. When I first got there I was rushing a bit because they said we had to be there at least 15 minutes early, but after entering and seeing only 2 people I knew everyone else wouldn’t be has punctual as me. Both instructors were very nice and helpful. The paintings were gorgeous and they allow you to buy the ones from previously instructed classes for just $ 35(cash only). The reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5, is that I was under the impression that wine would e served of at least a full bar. The one I went to in Vegas had a full bar and the session came with a cocktail… I guess that’s my Vegas mentality, I assume liquor is served everywhere. But the good thing is it’s B.Y.O.B. so if you want to drink you can bring your own.

I went for a birthday party last night and I had a great time. The staff was nice and the artist gave clear instructions and plenty of assistance. Bring your own food and drinks and prepare for a great time. Without a discount it costs about $ 35.00 and if you just go to hang out and not to paint, you don’t have to pay anything. We had a really fun time. My only criticism is that parking can be a challenge. Other than that, the place is great.

Cool place to hang out with friends, celebrate a birthday, explore your creative side, or all three! And it’s BYOB, so you can really relax and feel comfortable while you pretend you’re a Picasso in the making. Great spot with nice, friendly instructors. Definitely hope to be back soon.

I like this location! They seemed a little bit more laid back than the location in Sandy Springs but this location is also smaller. I notice that people tend to run late to this location a lot, lol I have been here twice, once for my sorority sister’s birthday and another time just because. Any painting that includes complicated sketches are already pre-sketched, you just fill them in. I feel like I am getting my own personal art for my house by going to Sips n Strokes. I love it. I will continue to patronize them. #Yelp100

Enjoyed the experience but took too long to pay and others were late and this delayed everything. Did not start until over an hour after the scheduled time.

Love this place, There are many companies that have the same concept as Sip n Stroke however this place have the best paintings to choose from. Yes, $ 25– $ 35 for 1 painting runs ppl away but hey you get what you pay for and it is worth the money. I can’t recall the instructor name, but the female with the black glasses was GREAT. I always seem to get her. She has a great attitude and is very helpful. This place is great for friends or even a date. I went 2 times by myself and on a Sunday so I won’t feel to bad going alone.

I’ve been here too many times to count. It’s my favorite place to paint, never been to any other painting establishment and have nothing to compare it to but just know… this place is awesome! There are two locations in Atlanta, I’ve been to both but I always seem to come back to this particular location. I love love the paintings they offer and the instructors are super helpful and fun. The nudes and angels are presketched but everything else you paint on your own! Great for large parties, but if you have a huge party and wanna take over the place the website suggests calling first. I have taken many friends here and they loved it! The weekends are of course the busiest, so register early if you like those particular paintings. They are always closed on Mondays. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually $ 25, $ 35 on the other days. Look on their calendar online, sometimes they have $ 20 or $ 30 special days. You have a choice of two sizes, the larger size is always ten dollars more. Depending on the instructor, they give out $ 5 off coupons if you check in on a social network site, on weekends they give the coupons out like candy. Those evil coupons, trick you and lure you in to paint even more. Don’t try and use them at the Sandy Springs location. The coupons specifically say Toco Hills. If you come to celebrate your birthday, they have a special treat for you. $ 25 gift certificate and $ 10 off for a friend. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. On Saturdays, they have three classes usually. The first morning class is mostly directed for the kiddies. Wine, friends, and painting… mon amor.

This is a great location, near the office my co-workers and I try to go at least once a week. Great way to wind down after a long day. The owner Jo is fantastic, everytme we go back she says welcome home, amazing that all the people she sees on a daily bases she remembers the crazy group of natural haired girls. Can’t wait it go back Wednesday — sips in strokes toco hills

This is a great location for painting. The instructors and the owners are super nice and friendly. This is my favorite location! Another added bonus is there is a DIY frozen yogurt place a few shops down that is open until 11 for those of us that have a sweet tooth that can’t tell time!

This is the Toco Hills location in the Toco Hills Promenade, Publix Shopping Center and other than squeezing way too many people into the space so you couldn’t mingle and get more sips easily I had a great time. The instructor is a hoot, she’s a little drill-seargenty, but that’s ok, some folks need that when painting, and the majority of works turned out great. Generally they sketch things out beforehand so it’s just a matter of painting what you see. It’s fun to get a group of girls together, grab some wine and get to painting! Looking forward to another trip, though if they always pack the tables in like that I’ll make sure to get an outside seat.
