Rude staff. Tried three different beers and they were mediocre at best. The pizza was OK.

Place was cool and great location, but it’s way to expensive for what you get. Food is over price small and low in quality. They also charge was to much for the beer and don’t even give you a full price. The only two bad reviews I have ever gave is this place and front page news in little 5.

Hands down one of the best experiences I had in Atlanta. At first glance, Slice and Pint might seem like any other ordinary pizza parlor. But once you sit down and take a look at the menu, you’re in for a surprise. Where else can you find Sriracha Beer and perfectly seasoned pizza all under one roof? Oh yeah, Slice and Pint. The beer selection is quite comprehensive and… very very good if I can say so myself. And of course, the beef perfectly compliments the wide selection of pizzas there as well. Heck, they even have trivia night there(s/o to the winning team N and Ps). You’ll have a pretty great experience dining here. The service is also superb. We had a pretty large group of 20+ people and the servers were able to accommodate us. No complaints at all so here you go Slice and Pint, five stars just for you. See you in May!

Great pizza, decent beers, and slow service. I still come here frequently when visiting Emory. The waiting staff seems too relaxed.

Ya know what? This place is emerging as a very thoughtful beer/food/hang spot. Try the stuffed peppers, cheezy breads, etc. Pizzas are banging. Creative pies!

I wish I could give a higher rating. Recently while visiting in Atlanta last month, I was staying in the area and needed a quick lunch and stopped here, because of good reviews. Only one server was serving the entire restaurant and seemed a little strung out. We ordered Loaded Fries, Bacon knots and Garlic Toast for Appetizers. I sent the fries back as I had a plate full of fries with bacon bits and no cheese on them. Our entrees arrived before they came back out. Someone that works there needs to taste the fries because the grainy room temperature cheese on them was disgusting. The garlic cheese bread was also not hot, room temp at best, instead of hot and bubbly. The pizza however was pretty good. But overall the slow service and horrible appetizers made for a not so good experience.

Wow what happened??? We have been here previously twice for lunch and had 4 star experiences but last night was a completely different experience. We live in the area and stopped by on a busy Friday night. The beers in the past had more flavor but last night was a disappointment. My wife and I drink only craft beer so tried the 6 beer sampler. Half of the beers were flat and warm(and no this is not the way they were to be served). We also ordered their classic Druid ale which arrived in a 10 ounce glass rather than the 14 as described. It too was not as good as we remembered. My wife ordered the artichoke appetizer which was just a can of artichokes put on a plate and heated up. We just left it. We ordered a pizza for our 5 year old and wife which was all too greasy. The bread had been also much better in the past and had little taste. I ordered the meatball sandwich which showed up luke warm at best with cold fries. Seriously there was nothing redeeming about the dinner including a waiter who was nice but flew by the table during prolonged absences. We almost had to trip him to complain about the fries and request the check. So sorry about how inconsistent this place was and not sure we will give it another chance with all of the available competition. Who wouldn’t want beer and pizza…

This place is great! Tried as many things on the menu as possible and they kept getting better. The bacon knots are incredible and somehow introduce even more awesome to bacon. The riverview pizza was top notch with a great introduction to peppadew peppers. The best was the finish with the s’mores pizza. On top of the food the beer is well crafted and on point. The brewmaster really captures unique flavors hard to find in other microbrews. Will be coming to Slice & Pint for years to come, well done!

Great place! They have a nice patio and beer samplers! The bacon knots are delicious! Our server was Vince and he was personable and non evasive. The best beer here is The Druid! Pizza is good, get the roasted garlic on it, its delicious! Will return here again!

I really hate to have write such a negative review but I wish someone had written one previously to warn others. My first experience here after it switched over from Everybody’s resulted in food poisoning. Both my friend and I ordered salads with a huge group from our lab, and both became devastatingly ill in the middle of the night. I swore I never wanted to return after that but a year later(and despite some pleading to go elsewhere), yesterday we returned to celebrate a lab mate passing their qualifying exam. We arrived with a large group about 5PM and we were quickly seated. Food and drinks came at an average pace, but when we went to leave, our cars had been broken into and bookbags stolen. Now I understand– shame on us– for leaving it in the car but the police officer told us that the previous night, 9(count them NINE) cars in that parking lot were broken into. Last night, only 2 cars were broken into but still if you have a history of this, wouldn’t it be kind to tell your patrons, «Hey– this happened last night and maybe you should watch out». I understand it may be bad for business but at least be front about it with the mostly student patronage that visits your restaurant. Or rather hire someone to watch after your parking lot after such a ransacking. The last straw though was that after more than $ 1k worth of car damage and probably another $ 2k in stolen goods, our waitress charged us full price for the one order of french fries and beers that we had consumed. When she heard what happened with the car, she apologized and took off 10%(about $ 3.50). Our group spent over $ 150. The two of us only consumed house beers(skipped dinner) and she still brought us a check that was nearly full price. To me, I think this place may be haunted. Everybody’s was such a local, long-lasting establishment in the village and I really don’t know what this group is doing not looking after its patrons. I even have organized for Emory’s graduate school to rent out Slice and Pint in the past for happy hour events where we have paid thousands of dollars to ensure the student body has a good time. But moving forward, how could I ever recommend that we send 250 poor, starving graduate students to an establishment that’s more concerned with making money than the safety and well-being of their clientele and their property.

So I drive past this every other day and always bypass it for chipotle(basically my kitchen during the summer) and I finally had a minute to sit down here and it was just as good as it looks! This restaurant has a nice and relaxed nature and has very friendly young staff working there. Although the service can be pretty slow, the quality of the food surpasses and makes up for it! They brew their own beer so if you’re a beer lover I’ve heard only good things about their beer. On this particular night I had a large pesto chicken pizza with these tasty peppers stuffed with cheese and a drink. When I say every bite was heaven, every bite was heaven! This was one of those plates where I had to annoyingly prod the waitress and commend the restaurant on how delicious it was when she probably had things to do lol. The pricing is average, it’s a nice place to meet friends for drinks and play games outside. There’s tons of parking! Enjoy

I enjoyed this restaurant. They have some decent and unique pizza toppings. They also have fun appetizers and other snack items. They have some beers and a decent selection of craft beers. The prices are sort of high for the area, but I’ve always been seated promptly and enjoyed everything. I also generally have had decently nice waiters. Overall, this is a decent spot for lunch and I recommend it.

This place is perfect for pizza enthusiasts and beer lovers. They make a slew of specialty pizzas, including the fabulous Carlos Pizza, pizza by the slice and build-your-pizza choices. More importantly, there’s plenty of room inside, including the bar area, and a covered patio section. I had such a great experience trying their home brewed beers like the Mango-Papaya Saigon beer. It was infused with fresh fruity flavors and a hint of sweetness(not as sweet as Woodchuck cider but more like a Blue Moon with a little more hop). On both visits, I built my own thin-crust pizza with the goal of making something as scrumptious as the Carlos but without meat: thin-crust dough with adobo sauce, mozzarella, cilantro, green onions, and pineapples. It was SO amazing the first time around! The adobo sauce had a great smoky. It was bold, with the taste of chipotle, yet slightly sweet. The sauce truly complimented the green onions, cilantro and pineapples that topped the thin layer of mozzarella cheese. I even added some black pepper to enhance the flavor. It was so good that I, unintentionally, ate the whole thing but with no regret! My vegetarian«Carlos» pizza was so delicious the first visit but sadly fell short the second go round. During the second visit, the flavor of the adobo sauce wasn’t as bold and pretty scarce in comparison to the amount of cheese. There was also too much mozzarella and the pie needed to cook longer by a few minutes. I have no clue if the difference in quality was due to change in chefs(first visit was a week night and second a weekend afternoon) or if the person was rushing to get it out. My server did apologize for the long wait and they even offered me veggies and hummus to snack. We’ll just say something happened backstage and that it isn’t a common thing. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will return. It’s definitely not the most authentic pizza place in the Atlanta metro area but a very enjoyable spot given their immense pizza selection, beer/cocktail list, and environmentally friendly menu items(mostly local grown, natural and organic foods). I would also recommend this place to people young and old, with and without kids. Enjoy!

I have gone to Everybody’s(the former slice and pint) many times and have tried Slice and Pint several times as well now. I liked Everybody’s better. The ambiance is nice, more ‘up-scale’ than before, although still a pub/brewery look. The waiter I had this past time was hilarious. He had such a sense of humor and was super sassy, in a funny way. Loved him. He was quite helpful and on the ball. We ordered two large pizzas, a couple pitchers of beer, and a family salad. The salad is delish! It has tons of toppings, cheese, prosciutto, olives, lettuce, etc. So good. But be careful, the bowl is tilted so if you are not INCREDIBLY careful, you will spill it all over yourself, even if you haven’t been drinking yet. They had a good beer menu, not may of your normal beers, such as blue moon or terrapin, but several good alternatives. The pizzas that we ordered came out in about 15 – 20 min, right around the time he told us it would take. They were huge and smelled delightful. The crust is thin– but not your super tiny crunchy thin, just not fluffy like papa john/dominos type. Their toppings are unusual. We got a sausage pizza and it came with these little pepper things that we all thought were cherry tomatoes but had a little spice at the end. Pizza was ok. The other pizza we got was a hawaiian pizza, cheese was not your typical pizza cheese, so it made it a bit peculiar, not bad, but just not expected. Overall, good salad, good beer, awesome waiter, pizza, meh.

Earlier this week, a friend and I were having a discussion about coleslaw. Like most of the planet, we were in agreement that we would eat coleslaw but it’s not something we would seek out. That’s like Slice & Pint. It’s fine but not a joint I would request for dinner. Given a choice, I’d vote for Mellow Mushroom or Fellini’s instead. But apparently it’s just me though. My friends are nuts about this place and often go for trivia on Tuesdays. The crust isn’t bad. I did like the white pizza the last time I was at S&P, so I might have to get that again. The Carlos is a fave with the others. I can’t endorse the s’mores pizza completely since I feel like this dough doesn’t work well with chocolate. And reading«if you love your kid you’ll get them chocolate» on the menu kind of annoys me, and I don’t have kids. Bonuses: Having a dedicated parking lot and faucets made out of taps in the bathroom.

A for effort. Local homemade pepperoni, fermented pizza crust, soda made on site, a great selection of beers made on site. Everything had a personal touch. The beer was great. We tried a buffalo chicken pizza and the crust was amazing but the overall pizza was just good. We did buy a couple hilarious t-shirts and the service was friendly and knowledgeable.

This place is probably more of a «meh» but I bumped it up a star because I remember how bad Everybody’s used to be and just based on «not being Everybody’s» you get an extra star. I attended Emory for a decade or so and as anyone who has ever gone there I wondered«why on earth can’t there be any good food in the Emory village?». This is a mystery right up there with who built the pyramids or why is Charlize Theron marrying Sean Penn(please just kill me now). You have a captive audience of like 5k people at Emory– if any decent restaurant could open up in the village it would kill, yet it never does. So I went into the Village, a place almost as scary as the M Night movie, and went to Slice and Pint fearing the worst but hoping for… not the worst? Its pretty mediocre. First, every single thing in the place is hand made there– even the wait staff were conceived in the bathrooms on site. Well after tasting the food me and my booth mates all remarked that sometimes it might be better to get something out of house once in a while. We got the specialty peperoni pizza and as someone who usually eats the napkins other dummies use to wipe grease off their pizza I can say this pizza was probably to greasy– thats cause you aren’t using a good cheese. It also seemed as if none of the ingredients had ever been introduced to salt-maybe there are no salt mines in Decatur within the 100 meter radius they allow ingredients to be sourced from. Our waiter was some«deranged Australian»(his words) and while I found him funny everyone else seemed sort of annoyed. He did stop by pretty frequently to tell us «your food is coming up right now» which after 20 minutes was revealed as the farce that it was– our food was in fact not coming right up. Sometimes the whole farm to table nonsense can go to far, and Slice and Pint is certainly an instance where it has.

This place has the best pizza in Atlanta. There is no other pizza like it because they use the yeast from the brewery for the dough. The also use fresh, local ingredients! If you are a meat eater, you will love their meat toppings. If you are not into pizza, they have salads, sandwiches, starters, etc… I love having a glass of while nibbling on their charcuterie selection.
