Interesting hole in the wall place that offers after parties late nights. There is usually a $ 10 – 20 cover charge FYI. Went here after Terminal West during Gay Pride weekend. The place was a lot of fun and the drinks were inexpensive. We were a little skeptical at first as we all walked in before the change over but were pleasantly surprised

The name says it all. Only tried the bar part for a drink, but very laid back when we went on a week night.

I went here awhile back to hear my friend’s band play. The atmosphere was cool and the service was good. However, the next day I checked my bank account online and my card had been charged twice by Anchor Bar. Once for my drinks, and another time for someone else’s drinks. I spoke with one of the bar’s female managers on the phone the next day and she did not resolve the issue. Negligently taking a patrons money without concern is disheartening and show’s a low moral standard.

Great bar… Awesome people. Want a drink with a chill non pretentious vibe, come on in. Food is sometimes available, but you do have tattoos. Where can you get a tattoo and catch a drink at the same place? Cool vibe, good drinks, good people. Enjoy!
