The Color Spot Salon

Not only is Shelia one of the nicest people you will meet, she is an amazing stylist and colorist. I am so happy that I’ve met her as I have probably seen 5 stylists since moving to Atlanta a year ago and have never had a great experience. Shelia has fixed bad cuts and bad color jobs. I am grateful to have found her! I have thick, course hair and she knows what to do with it! She doesn’t just dive in and cut. She takes her time and sees how my hair responds. Her studio space is also really cute and she is just lovely to spend time with.

The first time I’ve even met Sheila and now I’m a client for life. She listens and she cares and my hair hasn’t looked this good in years. I’ve always wanted to do a color like purple or blue, she was so helpful and encouraging and I LOVE my hair! It’s amazing! Her small one person studio is amazing and relaxing. I love her pandora playlist and she’s willing to listen to you babble. It’s the best hair experience I’ve had in a long, long time.

I *love* Sheila, and cannot say enough good things about her technique and artistry with my hair. I get a cut, color and foils and while it is on the high end of what I’ve paid in the past for similar services at relatively nice salons, I think that this money is much better spent at the Color Spot. She really took the time to hear what I wanted, and then managed to see through the fog to deliver exactly what I wanted. I have honestly never had a better cut and color in my life. I will be seeing Sheila for many years to come. For those on the fence about what to try next, give her a try. You will not be disappointed! I also appreciate the web booking system and e-​mail reminders — no phone call necessary, which counts for a lot in my busy life. Free bang trims and shampoo/​conditioner are great perks too.

Sheila is a one of a kind. Not only does she listen to what you need, but she always throws a little of her own touch into your hairstyle. No matter water color/​cut you decide on, you’ll leave loving it!

Tonight was my first time seeing Sheila. I loved her!!! She is very personable, within 20 minutes I felt like we were longtime friends catching up, which made the hair dying process a blast and she did a great job with my hair. She even sent me home with a new conditioner for free! What a sweetheart! I just recently moved to Atlanta and I am happy to say that I have already found my new hair stylist. I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience. It is a little pricey but worth it. It is a relaxing, private setting and you really get the attention you need. I will definitely be going back.

First off, Sheila is amazing! She knows her business, and she treats me the way I want to be treated. I could go on and on, in fact I will!
Most important to me is that I have someone I can learn from. She teaches me about my look, my style, and my hair. I love having someone that tells me what to do with it, because I have NO clue and it shows sometimes.
The first time I went to her, she asked me about my previous experiences with getting my hair done. I told her and she adapted, made my WEEK (not just my day!). My hair looked beautiful and I’m sure you’d agree. She also helped me transition from brown to my long time dream of RED hair! I feel like we did it in 2 steps, first to a medium orange, and then to a full thick blood red color that looks like some sort of beautiful auburn indoors and bright as the sun outdoors! She plays with the color and I think she makes a masterpiece out of what used to be such a dull head of hair!
Also, if you haven’t done one-​on-​one hair appointments before, add it to your to-​do list! I really enjoy talking to Sheila, she is intuitive and a really wonderful woman!

Let’s hear it for The Color Spot! I too have been following Sheila around Atlanta, and with good reasons:
1 She knows her business and she knows hair.
2 She is able to achieve just the look you want each time OR more than happy to experiment (my personal favorite choice).
3 She’s got this funky, intimate space you can have all to yourselves.
4 She is an awesome lady to just sit and chat with, and if you can get that WHILE she’s making you beautiful… what more could you ask for?

Sheila is amazing! My hair is always beautiful, sexy, flattering and fabulous! Not to mention the company is amazing… really I love hanging with Sheila as much as I love my hair when I walk out the door! She also does my twin two year olds hair with ease. I can actually just wash and go with no tangles and she gets them to sit still with her calm demeanor-​love it!

I’ve been following Sheila around the city for the past 7 years! She is fantastic! I have already referred friends to her and will continue to!
