Where do I start, having lived on the property for more than two years I can say that management & the managing company being First Community does not care about what actually goes on here, rent seems to be the only interest. Repeated phone calls to Emma Brackston(regional manager of the property) have gone unanswered this includes emails. Problems in the in the apartments are«band aided,» basically not fixed unless you have lost your mind and/or temper. The complex is to be torn down as is «The Chastain so that a supposed shopping center/apartment complex will go in it’s place.» First Community Properties has known about this all of this time and told the tenants nothing. The last letter we received was a year ago November 2012. Phone calls made to corporate office looking for answers go unanswered. In November of 2013 five phone calls were made & two emails sent again all were ignored. Requests for problems have always been written in a note notebook and never followed up by the management. I had a leak underneath my living room window that took them a year and half to fix, the molding above the carpeting still has water stains since it was never replaced a second time. The new baseboards sat in the hallway for two weeks then removed by Daniel(a manager) without investigating seriously WTH ? MOLD is a problem in the apartments the management knows this and has maintenance spray bleach on the problem. Tenants are getting repeated upper respiratory infections and headaches from this. Trash is left by tenants moving out for several days or in some cases by the dumpsters for weeks. The management would know this if they walked the property daily Wanda Santiago will tell you«they do» they don’t. December 29, 2013 was the first time I’ve ever seen maintenance cleaning on a Sunday it seemed so out of place you noticed. I found out later a neighbor had called«County Code Enforcement» & the property may or may not have known it was going to be looked at ? 1÷10÷14 — «Our 30 day notices» were given if you weren’t home it was taped to your door. Angela(a manager) has told us for the last year«we would be given 60 days» once again we were lied too. The management waited until after Christmas then collected January’s rent before really«sticking it to us.» The people involved in this have«no business» being in management and take no accountability for their actions.
