One of my dear friends always had mentioned to me about coming here. This place is definitely awesome to come with a big group or even a casual fun date night. Mex-Tex type of food. Definitely delicious. It had hit spot indeed. My friend told me to taste their«spicy red salsa». Sooo addicting!!! It really was spicy, with also a pinch of TANGY!!! YUM! For the main entrée, I had ordered chicken con queso taco which included fried chicken, red bell peppers, jalepenos, and this spicy tangy sauce with a side of their rice. Delicious! My friend ordered«build your own» nachos. Vibes here are very laid back, yet eccentric. Diverse groups of people here which I love. Flat screen on every corner. The bar was also popping! The guitarist/singer was talented. We sat front row right across from him. Very sweet guy! Inbetween breaks, they played a variety of different music which is also a plus. Rap/rnb, dance/pop, even country hits. Also, I don’t want to forget to mention that pricing here is very reasonable. Will definitely come back here and hang with friends while eating very satisfyingly. Hehe :-)

Queso. Margaritas. Tacos. Need I say more? But seriously people have different opinions about the main items like tacos and skillets, but you can never go wrong with the chips and queso. Good place to hang out

Our experience would lead me to recommend not to order the skillet. We wanted to share and the shrimp skillet was probably enough for 1 taco. It took about 20 to 25 mins after we ordered to get our food. Other items: 1 single taco is $ 3.99 or $ 2.99 at the lowest price. We got LOT of chips but they were good! Go at you own risk… Service was good so all the stars are for service only.

A friend and I went to hang out– not necessarily to eat a ton of food. In total, we got three tacos, a side, and chips/queso. Our waitress let us hang out, rather than pushing us out. I saw them adding tables for the amount of guests they were getting on a weekday night, but she asked us if we wanted to chill longer. I had the fried fish taco and the southern bbq taco, which was a ton of flavors that I had to get used to– goat cheese, bbq sauce, and fried pickles actually taste really good together. My only complaint was that the chips were a little more stale than usual– maybe they were fried recent to our visit, but they were still great(especially with that seasoning)!! I spent around $ 20 for two tacos, and splitting everything else.

I really liked Tin Lizzy’s before they got popular — and no, I’m not a hipster. I just feel like their food doesn’t make up for the huge crowds and bad service. Don’t get me wrong — I still go here to pound some chips and dip on the patio when the weather is nice, but overall, this chain has swapped quality food for popularity — and who could blame them?

I been to Tin Lizzy several times in Kennesaw so I enjoy this place. Its my first time here at the Perimeter location. This place was not really noticeable since it almost blends in with Suntrust part of the same building. This place is pretty packed and a bit crowded. I ordered the Churasco Steak skillet and while it does taste good, the portion just seems small compared to the one I had in Kennesaw. Our service was average, our waitress did take awhile before she came back to take our orders in. My coworkers ordered chicken skillet, tacos and quesadilla. They all enjoyed their food and the place was a good chill spot. If you like tacos, cantinas, skillets and margaritas, I recommend coming here. The margaritas were on point and the price was decent compared to other places.

I came here with a coworker for lunch one day because it was near the office. It seemed like the patio was a popular spot for most people but we chose to sit inside so we could see the TVs that they have scattered across the walls. To my surprise, you have to order chips and salsa as it doesn’t come complimentary. They have a few a variety of options for ordering chips in terms of with just salsa, or with a combination of queso and/or guacamole. There are also two types of salsa: a mild and a spicy one. We actually ordered the queso and spicy salsa combo but the salsa just had a hint of spice and the queso was alright. As for my meal, I decided to get a couple of tacos and I went with the Korean pork and the Chipotle chicken taco. The Korean pork taco comprised of shredded pork with a Korean bbq like sauce with Asian slaw with ginger dressing on top. It had really nice flavor and it was a stuffed taco so it was really filling. As for the Chipotle chicken, it had fried chicken with pieces of bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes along with a bit of chipotle sauce. I thought this one was very bland and lacked flavor as I couldn’t really taste the sauce so I ended up pouring some of our queso we ordered to add flavor. The food was ok here but seemed like a good place to watch a game and hang out with friends. I saw some other people order nachos that came in a large bucket that looked good so I think I will try that next time around. A little bitter about having to pay for chips and salsa but decent spot to go for a happy hour kind of thing.

After visiting two locations — the one near Grant Park and now this one, close to Perimeter Mall — I’m such a Tin Lizzy’s fan! It’s a thoroughly casual place that specializes in funky tacos(today I tried the lobster — fried chunks of lobster doused with honey chipotle sauce and slaw — and the Southern Comfort — grilled chicken with sweet and spicy barbecue and fried pickles) priced between $ 3.49 and $ 5.99 each. Tin Lizzy’s also has an impressive cocktail menu that I haven’t sampled from yet, but my friends assure me they’re as tasty as they sound. The service at this particular location was top-notch. We were seated right away, and our friendly waitress suggested salsa and queso to get us started. She was familiar with the menu, checked on us regularly(but not TOO much), and made sure our drinks stayed full. One of the managers also stopped by just to make sure that we were having fun. If you’re in the mood for a quick, casual modern taqueria, you really can’t do better than Tin Lizzy’s.

Looking for some good tacos. Here is the place to be for a twist on your regular taco“s. Tin Lizzy in my opinion has the best variety of soft tacos out there. My usual order consists of the chicken con queso taco. These are very flavorful and are slowly becoming my favorite. I also get the shrimp fajita which are suppose to have onions and peppers but lately have some lettuce on them rather than onions and peppers, Stay away from the guacamole. This is the worst I have ever tasted. The drinks are pretty good Reno da me of college drinks but suffice for the atmosphere. It’s not a place to take a first date or if you want to talk as it gets very loud but a great place to grab some eats and a drink.

Solid four stars. Came this weekend for lunch with friends and it was pretty packed. Our waitress was such a sweetheart and really attentive without being over bearing. Pitchers of the spicy margaritas were good, just not as good as my spicy margaritas. The Hot Mess dish was pretty awesome and I appreciate them making it for me with chicken since I don’t eat pork. Noticed a little too late there was still bacon strips in it. Yikes! Not their fault though I should’ve checked. It was very tasty and I highly recommend it. The chicken quesadillas with goat cheese were the star of the lunch for me though. Wowza! And shout out to the homie singing by himself as entertainment and adding a great ambience to the afternoon. Really enjoy it. Will be back.

SO disappointed! Having only so many days in Atlanta, we were so totally disappointed that we selected this restaurant! The place wasn’t busy enough to warrant that kind of inattentive service. Our waitress spent most of the time dicking around flirting with other wait staff in the serving area. It took three passes to get questions answered and salad dressing brought. The margaritas were miserably sweet and I even doubt there was any tequila in them. The food was mediocre. They had somehow made the Philly Quesadilla taste like processed lunch meat. The Cobb came with an awful Italian dressing that DIDNOT match! Admittedly, I am spoiled by Tex/Mex in California, but this was horrible! Salsa with canned tomatoes? Shameful.

I live in Midtown, yet this is my favorite Tin Lizzy’s location. It’s clean, it has a huge open atmosphere, there’s plenty of room, and always plenty of chips, queso, and margaritas. If you’ve never been to Tin Lizzy’s, and you like TexMex, I have to wonder where you have been living all your life. Tin Lizzy’s is the TexMex place to be — and you ALWAYS have to order the chips and queso. The seasoning on the chips goes perfectly with the queso. Don’t believe me that the queso is a hit? I watch three elementary schoolers go through 2 bowls of it. Other than the chips, I really like that Tin Lizzy’s offers a «build your own» quesadilla option. I almost always go that route. Add bacon? Don’t mind if I do. In fact, add some more. The cheesy is never that runny oozing cheese either. Its the perfect texture and a little stringy so your quesadilla stays together.

The menu at tin lizzy really changed and I’m not sure that’s a good thing. This location is huge which is nice as there was no wait. I got the churrasco chicken skillet which didn’t look pretty but I liked a lot(once I added black beans and jalapeño). I also got the chicken egg rolls which were bordering on gross. They’re really salty too. My friend hated her whole order. She got chicken tortilla soup and Korean beef tacos. I don’t like the new menu but would go back again for that skillet I had.

This place gets so loud. What? I said, this place gets really loud! What? SOOOOOOLOOOOOUD! Ohmygosh, why are you screaming? The last time I was here was for lunch on Cinco de Mayo. I couldn’t even hear myself think. But I guess that was to be expected. This location is popular with area office workers for good reason. It’s standard Americanized Mexican. The menu consists of nachos, tacos, quesadillas, and salads. You’re bound to find something you like. You can even build your own meal, which is pretty cool. Service is good, especially considering how busy it gets at lunch time. There’s a decently sized patio but like virtually all patios in the Perimeter area, it overlooks a parking lot. So I had no idea how to get here the first time I came. It’s attached to the SunTrust Bank building, sort of hidden away if you’re approaching from the west on Perimeter Center W. So if you’re on that street, you’ll want to turn northbound onto Olde Perimeter Way. Look for the SunTrust sign. However, you can’t enter the restaurant from the bank. So don’t try that. Not that I know from personal experience or anything. Overall, a perfectly serviceable, inoffensive lunch option that all of your co-workers can live with.

I like this location, compared to Grant Park … You can’t really — it’s a totally different beast TLPC is a suburban Dunwoody/Perimeter Mall Shopper local hangout. It’s pretty boring here, sort of the vanilla of eateries That said, it’s clean, large, the prices are great(better than the Over Priced Grant Park) and the service was above and beyond We had a fun time here, got some great prices on drinks and we had a choice of patio/screened in patio/and inside = nice clean fun at a good price

Nice and casual atmosphere near perimeter mall. Prices are good and reasonable. I ordered steak skillet– it can feed two people. This place is Mexican food with Western influence. Overall good food. But nothing unique to make it stand out apart from other Mexican-like restaurants.

The outside didn’t look like much, but once inside it made me think of a midtown bar. All the employees are young, attractive, and smiling. We sat at a high top near the bar. A good band was playing on the second patio and his Mic was tuned into the speakers for the entire restaurant. This is awesome and I never seen any place do that. Let’s talk menu. It’s simple, but good. They have categories like salad, quesadillas, and skillets. You’ll notice that they have the same items in theses same categories. I had the Mediterranean skillet. Feta cheese, rice, chicken, tomatoes, etc. It was excellent! My wife had shrimp tacos and she loved it. Combined with superb chips and salsa, our bill came to 32 bucks. This made me feel good because places like chili’s gouge you with 12 dollar meals and it taste store bought. This is our new spot, if you haven’t tried it, do so soon.

If you’re look for a taco this a great place to come to. They have been different options for steak, chicken, and pork and they are very reasonably priced. Also the chips are spiced better then any chips I’ve ever had better and go great with the queso. The only issue with this location is that parking can be very tough as there are not many spots nearby.

I don’t come here regularly but I’ve been here so many times I am surprised I never wrote a review. The food is fattening and oh so good. I have a thing for queso and they pour it on almost everything! Get it fried and with cheese, whatever you order. This place is across the street from Perimeter but near a bank and you almost miss it. Lots of parking around and even an out door patio. When you walk in, it’s kind of right in your face. Service is always good on my experiences. There is a long bar, high tables for two and tables for groups. I don’t know I don’t come here more often. Well, it is the first of the year and I’m preparing for a marathon. Maybe I will reward myself with Tin Lizzys.

Loved everything. We ordered the 3 pigs nachos and it weighed like 12 lbs and came out in a metal bucket. The pulled pork and sauce made the dish. We also ordered the korean BBQ taco and buffalo shrimp tacos. Everything was amazing including the service. Also the tvs in every corner made watching the game a dream. I will be back many times. Do it.
