Travel Immunization Center: Barnett Jr Crawford F MD

I’m a planner. I rarely travel by the seat of my pants and I devote months to studying guidebooks, reading reviews and tips online, and making itinerary’s. So when I somehow managed to overlook my need to be inoculated on a recent trip to Central America I began to panic. Not only was I leaving in three days and couldn’t find a clinic to do them, but vaccinations typically take about two weeks to fully be in your system– at that rate, I would be fully inoculated at the very end of my trip. Thankfully via word-​of-​mouth I got a recommendation for Dr. Barnett and he was awesome. I was able to get in that afternoon, he was thorough when discussing side-​effects and instructions for taking meds, and it was by far the least painful vaccine I have ever received. I highly recommend going to see him! Regarding cost: I have no clue how much other travel doctor’s charge, so I recommend pre-​planning (do as I say, not as I do) and maybe calling around and getting some estimates.
