originally came here for beef patties… and the lady at the counter states. «we all out» !! strike 1 !!
so I ended up getting the jerk chicken with rice and peas and cabbage! very spicy !! but I love hot food so it was all good. The ONLY plus ! might I add !
strike 2– food was freezing cold. felt like I was eating spicy ICE. F*cking pissedddddd !!
like how can u sell food that cold. if I wasn’t in a rush I woulda took that shit bck so fucking fast yo!
aside from my frustration, food was jus aight. chicken was flavorful. rice good, cabbage aight !!

I am so glad I chose Island Twist Cuisine today. I had Curry goat, rice & peas, mac & cheese, with plantains. The food was already prepared and in warmers to keep it hot. The meat was tender, slightly spicy, not too much, just good, the mac and cheese was baked and oh so yummy, as was the rest of my meal. The prices may seem a bit high for some, but I was given nice portions and was pleased enough to say, I will return.

OMG !!! This place is really bad… the women are worry about looking good than the quality of food, the price are to high the food was cold, the only thing that taste good was the beans and rice, why? is it that people want to charge high prices for bad food, it really upset me to report a bad review the Ackee dish was $ 14.00 that’s to high. the beef patty was okay the jerk chicken was tender but cold the jerk sauce taste like BBQ sauce

This food truly sucks. I had the curry chicken plate during the lunch special hours for $ 6.50. Since it was a reduced price, it came with white rice instead of the rice and peas. The portion size was okay, but the chicken was not good at all. Since when are the wings included in the pot of curry chicken? And the skin was left on the wings also so it was just weird, it seemed like boiled chicken with a little curry flavor. The plaintain was NOT sweet or soft, the cabbage was ok. Also got a beef patty which was a standard beef patty. While I was disappointed, I usually give places a second try because sometimes they miss with a certain dish, but others are great. Big mistake. Yesterday I went in for a curry goat plate. Well lucky for her she took my money first because when I saw her dishing it out I knew right away this was going to suck big time. First off, they were out of rice & peas so I had to get white rice. They were also out of beef patties. It was only 7pm… dinner time. Well then she started dishing out the goat and it was this weird color, not like a stewed color, more like corned beef. You could also see the gravy was pretty watery, not thick like it should be. I wanted to cry, but just took it and left. It was horrible. It tasted like fermented corned beef. Everyone in my house rejected it and it went in the trash. $ 12.00 down the drain.
