Five stars for West Elm’s amazing design and installation services and general customer service. I had them do a painting job for me. Had some issues with the paint product used — they handled everything professionally and have made sure it is all completed to our satisfaction. Katie B helped me with some new furniture choices to complement my existing pieces and helped me track down a chair that I needed to match another. Ten stars for Rusty who brought a creative, discerning eye to our existing art pieces and transformed the look of our space. I highly recommend.

5 stars for Eric at the Market Café within West Elm. He is super nice and patient to help me out with checking out the items I was confused about the tags. Food wise, I’ve tried lavender flavor mocha (seasonal) here before, it was interesting; the bakery choice is still quite limited, I figured they are still a home décor firm, the café conner is more for promote their kitchen tools and some jarred jams/​easy prepared boxes, also it’s in the biggest food court in ATL, no need to be very devoted to it’s café supply, however, how I wish they can really cooperate with some local bakeries to provide unique selections.

I started my journey at the West Elm at Atlantic Station. The shelf I was looking for was out of stock. The associates called the Ponce store who confirmed stock on the shelf and the brackets. When I got to Ponce West Elm I needed to wait about 10 minutes to be helped. Then they had me wait for over 30 minutes while they checked stock. Only to find out that their inventory is wrong. I now have to come back out tomorrow. Absolutely awful. All the sales associate could say was «they should always call» which the other store did. I should also outline that it should never take 45 minutes to check stock in a practically empty store, Very disappointed.

This store is stunning and the service was 5 stars. I am an out of towner and stopped in for some items for a display at AmericasMart. Katie B was helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to check for items that were not on the floor but were items I was looking for. She made my shopping experience easy and fun. Love this store!

Terrible customer service. I have been in this shop three times and each time I walk out shaking my head about how unhelpful and self involved the employees are. Pretty sure it was the same guy at least twice. Maybe there are other employees that are more helpful and I just get unlucky.

Excellent customer service by employee Jay. We left there giddy saying, «Now that was customer service «. It’s so rare that it felt like the old days when workers cared, assisted and conversed. Well done JAY.

I love West Elm but I refuse to spend my money where it’s not appreciated. Came to this new location to purchase a dining set. I was very disappointed in the customer service. I asked to speak to the manager and the person «helping» me said she was the general manager. I told her I was appalled and would never be back. I kept my word.

I love West Elm in general, but, the manager at this location needs some improvement. I ordered a dining table in store a few weeks ago. A piece of the table was not in stock and I was advised it would have to be ordered and I could then pick up in the store. The day after I placed the order, I received an email from West Elm advertising a 15% off dining furniture sale. I went back into the store to see if they would apply the discount since it was so soon after the order and I had not yet taken possession of the item. The store manager was called to the register. She asked how she could help and I asked if they might apply the discount. Her tone of voice immediately changed. She explained they did not, under any circumstances, price adjust after a sale. She repeated this twice in a stern voice as though I was a child. I questioned it since I didn’t yet have the table. She agreed to give the discount, but only after letting me know that she was ‘doing me a favor’. «Gee, thanks!» Either provide the discount or not. Don’t make me feel like a jerk for asking.

This is a tough one. While my experience is directed at the store level its directed at their corporate HQ and their internal policies for in-​home delivery. The store at ponce where we purchased a number of big ticket items including one for $ 2,300.00 to be delivered directly to our home after a 4 week build was smooth and pleasant. Its what happened next that I would advise do not purchase any of their in-​home services from delivery to install, as it appears they contract it out and have absolutely no clue how to perform said process or handle the logistics involved.
We purchased this bar consul piece over a month ago. Finally we get a call out of the blue from some very clueless person in North Carolina scheduling our shipment to arrive this past Saturday between 12 – 2:30pm. Sounds reasonable enough. Nice short delivery window. Well by 3pm that day, no truck with said piece has arrived, we call the 1 – 800 number for West Elm where we wait on hold for over 34 minutes to be told the shipment is out on the truck and they are running behind. No estimate for what that means delivery time and how to have the driver call and update us is given. Hmmm so I need to waste my entire day for this piece that may or may not show up, and the best part the customer service rep can’t call the logistics hub to find out the route etc because they are «not permitted» to do so. I mean seriously what kind of circus is this company running? If you can’t put a fleet together for deliver then don’t offer it. By 6:30pm nothing has happened nor have we been updated or called. I call back again, wait on hold another 35 minutes (egregious wait times, I think sadly Comcast is actually better) to be told I’m sorry you had to go through that, they lied to you the first time as there is no way they would have known if the piece was actually out for delivery since we can’t track or contact the logistics hub, so basically the only thing that was offered was to go to their online website and submit a feedback form stating what had happened. No clue as to where our $ 2,300 piece of furniture is, if they are going to even call us and schedule a proper delivery, nor was there any internal process at this supposedly upscale company to fix the issue. After spending $ 8,000 to furnish a new house with west elm I am forever black listing them. This is completely absurd and unacceptable and they have done nothing to make it even remotely right. They in my mind stole $ 2,300 from us and have no intention of delivering on the piece we ordered nor have they done anything in a timely manner to make the experience even somewhat digestible. Sad simply sad that you treat your customers this way West Elm.

This location is awesome. Much larger than Atlantic Station. It has a nice selection of product and the west elm market section is a nice touch. We stopped and got free coffee on the house! So sweet! What I liked most about this store was the selection of goods available; despite being a new store I was able to snag some Kate Spade Saturday sheets (even though Kate Spade Saturday went out of business a while back)
The sales staff was helpful and friendly. We will def be back when any more household needs arise.

That’s all I could think of when walking around West Elm’s new spot in Ponce Market. So much faux mid century goodness going on. The store is set up beautifully with good flow. It’s at the corner of Ponce Market close to the intersection of Glen Iris and Ponce. Parking seemed plentiful, however there are very few places open yet which makes a huge difference. Oddly enough there is a food area inside, close to the back door where you head in to the soon-​to-​be-​open food hall. I think you can get drinks and pastries there, but it wasn’t open on the Saturday I was there. There was however a cute Smeg fridge that I could fawn over… I could never buy it because of the name though. Don’t nobody want to get food out of a fridge called Smeg.

I love west elm but the customer service at this location is terrible. Very inconsiderate of customers. Hope it’s just growing pains.
