Yum’s Subs

I realize the Fried Chicken Wings are not the healthiest choice. When the spirit (or the demon) moves you and when there is a thirst… Surrender, Feed the Beast, Repent and Keep it Movin’. Yums, Washington Rd, East Point is a take out joint located in a convenience store of a Citgo gas station. Other Yums locations in the city are freestanding restaurants with in-​store seating but not the location in East Point. The convenience store offers a range of services, Retail (you can buy gas and apparel), Gambling (you can try your luck at one of the gaming machines in the rear of the store) and Food (Yums, offers Mexican, Chinese and Southern fare). Only in the South, baby, Only in the South.
A Chicken Wing (or the preparation of one) may seem like a very simple thing. But it is the simple things or the preparation of simple things that can easily end up a bad thing. Fortunately, Yums, does it right. The wings are crisp, not overcooked or over fried. I get the 5 Wings. 2 and a half for a same day meal and 2 and a half for a later hunger spell. Of course, I could get a side, like fries, or fried rice or any number of other things but why gild the lily. The Wings are King and the King stands alone.
