Went after having dinner at Christines and enjoyed the drinks and the jazz. Nice wine list and reasonable prices and attentive service. I love sidecars and the first one was a little tart, and I asked our server if the bartender could make the next one with a little more Cointreau. When the second drink came it was perfect. Nice room and the food that people at tables close by looked and smelled good. Truffle Tater Tots sounded really good, as did the prok belly sliders, but we had no room after dinner.

How cute is this place?! I only wish i lived closer so i can frequent more regularly. If i ever needed a venue for a gathering, this is exactly the type of place i’d go. Or even a date night! Its situated in proximity to the water and the location itsslf has that small town feel. I came here for a bridal shower with a group of about 30 people. The upstairs was all reserved for us(not sure if there is a downstairs actually) — anyways the party began in the lounge, which was a cute, well lit space — we then moved in to the restaurant space, which consisted of a number of large family-style tables. And the food! Delishhhhh. Im not a huge bread and butter person, but the merlot butter they had on deck was so delicious. The rocket arugula salad, the steak — both were very delicious. I would absolutely come back here again, i loved everything about this place!

Pretty inside. Live music. Jazz and such. Nice martini menu that shifts with the seasons. Tasty tapas menu. Most recently went on a Saturday night, busy(older crowd) and spent about 100 dollars between three of us, two appetizers and a few drinks. Pricey? Yes. Good date place for 40+ especially id say, and ladies, if a guy takes you there for dinner you better give him some at the end of the night cus he will be spending a fortune.

Lively atmosphere! Doors open on a beautiful night. The Burr at a appetizer was amazing. Service was good even though they were busy. Dress code says polished casual, but there were some who obviously did not adhere.

Great atmosphere, food and drinks. We love sitting at the bar, having a cocktail, and ordering a variety of apps to share. My favorite is the guac, edamame, goat cheese crustini.

Walk in, music, nice comfy atmosphere, seems perfect after a great dinner. Right? Wrong! Service was not very good. The staff was too busy socializing. So this is «The Wine Bar», the wine list is pitifully short with embarrassing selections! Too bad! Perfect concept, great location, a bit of a waste!

Had my Baby Shower here, the food was amazing! Was on the expensive side, but had gotten so many compliments on the choice. They bend over backwards to make sure your needs and wants are being met. The only thing I wish was that it was wheelchair accessable.

Went in on a Thursday evening when it was beautiful out. The atmosphere was great but the service was lacking. It was empty and the bartender/server took no time to make recommendation, explain the menu. We had to keep asking questions and get up and go find her to do so. The food was okay, very overpriced for what is being served. $ 13 for 2 ravioli. $ 16 for a few little skewers of beef with a potato and some horseradish. The dishes don’t come as described and just were not as good. Skip it.

Place is really cute and has great potential. Went for dinner last Saturday night. No hostess n waitstaff that was at the bar didn’t even acknowledge us. We are finally seated and it took awhile for someone to come over. While we waited for drinks a waitress had picked up plates n dropped a knife to which stayed on the floor and got walked over by 3 waitresses before one picked it up. Food was good. The egg roll was amazing but too big making it awkward to eat. Music was all wrong for the place. It def seemed as if there was no manager.

We are thrilled to have found this charming place! We chose the lounge for tapas and drinks, even though the dining room looked lovey. The lounge is a gorgeous open space with comfy love seats and cushy chairs. The dim lighting and brilliant pianist made for a perfectly romantic atmosphere for my husband and me. Although, we both remarked that it would be a great place to take a group of friends. We had the baked brie, tater tots, bacon wrapped dates, and the burger. All were divine, along with great cocktails. Our server, Katie, was very attentive and friendly as well. THIS is the place to go in town. On our next visit, this will be our first stop!

We were greeted by a very friendly server who advised we eat at the bar so because time was of the essence, we decided to split 4 tapas and they were: Pumpkin hummus, shrimp cocktail, tuna sashimi, broccoli rabe with sausage. The hummus came with raw veggies and had the perfect amount of garlic. The tuna was served on a cucumber round and was garnished with a delicious garlic aioli. I don’t eat shrimp but she said they were wonderful and the broccoli rabe was also well executed with the right amount of roasted garlic. Can’t wait to go back.

Great place to stop for drinks before you eat elsewhere. The food is just«OK». But for the price it should be far better. The ambience is lovely. But for a wine bar I would expect more variety by the glass.

I can’t even describe how much we love this place. I’ve recently come to realize I am no longer a «loud, crowded bar/club kinda gal(for the most part). My husband and I came here for the 1st time on Valentines day, after getting matching tattoos, while it was snowing. It was just very very romantic. So charming. The staff was incredibly nice, the food was AMAZING. We sat at the bar instead of the actual restaurant section, so we ordered small. Bacon wrapped dates TODIEFOR, shrimp cocktail, and oysters. i easily polished off 3 – 4 glasses of wine and my husband too it easy with 1 or 2 mixed drinks. All very tasty. The bathrooms were sparkling clean too which is alway a plus. It fills up pretty fast so we got there right at 6:00 when they opened. It’s a little pricy… $ 8 – 12 for a glass of wine, and $ 11 – 18 for the small plates of food at the bar. But, it’s so worth it. I can’t wait to go back. It’s a nice place to get dressed up and feel swanky for the night. INLOVE.

My husband and I came here for dinner over Thanksgiving weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was not very busy in the dining section but the wine bar section was busy and there was no more seating in that section. We are in our late 20s and we were definitely the youngest people there. For appetizer, I started off with the arugula salad, which was very good and my husband had the butternut squash ravioli which were were also very good. For the main course, my husband had the halibut and I had the pappardelle dish. We both enjoyed our dishes. We tried the homemade gelato for dessert, which we enjoyed. We both work in NYC and eat out a lot there and this restaurant is comparable to many restaurants we like to eat at in NYC. Next time we come back, we want to try the tapas and sit in the wine bar section. We will definitely be back.

Went here for a night out. The tapas are very good and the place is a great social place. Awesome ambiance and the couches are awesome. Seating is limited but standing isn’t frowned at. I will def be back such a great night and they have a pianist and sax player playing for 3 hours. Great experience.

Heard good things so decided to try it for my 22nd wedding anniversary. BIGMISTAKE when you have to flag the waitress down twice and ask where your drink is? It took 30 minutes to get a drink, my first drink of the evening and my last! Waitress said bartender was«new», I told her he needs to be fired! Restaurant wasn’t even crowded but customers that were seated after we were seated had no problem getting their drinks. Food was good but service sucked, waitress should have apologized for making us wait for half hour for a drink !!! So much for a romantic dinner! Undecided if I will try it again?

The Wine Bar completely above and beyond wowed me. The food was great, and the service was super friendly and attentive(if not a little overly attentive, but who wants empty water glasses and no dessert menu in sight?). I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to have a nice dinner or a couple of nicely done cocktails in the Atlantic Highlands area.

We met a friend her for pre-dinner drinks. The place is beautiful — lovely pale grey walls, dark floors, very contemporary. The crowd is a bit on the older side. Lots of people in their 50s. I ordered a cocktail called Coming up Roses after asking the server about it. It’s made with raspberry rum, imd juice, rose water, rose petals and champagne. She promised it wouldn’t be overly sweet but would be floral. It was fantastic! Just so light a refreshing! I can’t recommend it enough.

I went there for dinner with my brother and sister in law. The Atmosphere is nice. The piano man playing in the corner is a nice added touch. The overall ambiance in the wine bar area has almost a library/office feel with comfortable couches and candle light coffee tables that made for a perfect setting to converse over cocktails. We all shared various appetizers and one entrée. The one that stood out are: Apps: @Duck Confit– Absolutely delicious! @Scallops — OK nothing great. Wouldn’t get again. @Tuna Tartare — pretty plain and lacked any taste of truffle oil that had us excited to order it. Entrée: @Rack of Lamb — Out of this world! Highly recommend. Would come back just for this dish again. Dessert: @Crème Brûlée: Ok. Not good enough to finish. @Espresso Panna cotta — Delicious!
