We couldn’t have been happier with RM as our wedding caterer! From start to finish, we were impressed with their personal attention, quality of product, and professionalism. Amy Norton offered outstanding management and planning on the front end, and Carlo Monti and his crew orchestrated a perfect meal and event. The food selection and quality was fabulous – our wedding guests raved! And RM’s services went way beyond food. We were so appreciative to receive their help with vendors, setup, and takedown. RM made the day!

Highly recommended!!! Every positive review here is spot on! We used Morins for our wedding in August at the Sakonnet Vineyard. Morins exceeded our expectations and left no detail unattended. They are clearly doing everything right at this company– their food is AMAZING and their customer service is even better. We worked with Morins before and after our first wedding venue went out of business. Morins helped us secure another vendor and they were so helpful and professional through the entire process.
We worked with Erin and she was so responsive to every email I sent her throughout the year. She asked all the right questions and was so prompt in her responses. She has so much experience and was always patient and helpful. She made great suggestions when I wasn’t sure what to do or was tired of making decisions! Morins is definitely lucky to have Erin on board. I was disappointed when she told me that she wouldn’t be my day-​of coordinator but she promised that I would be in good hands with Cat. Cat was just as amazing! She quickly picked up every detail that Erin and I had discussed over the last year. She and Erin worked seamlessly to make sure nothing was forgotten.
On the day of, our guests were raving about the food and the service. It was so impressive that they served 120 people so quickly and every plate was warm and beautiful. Everyone LOVED the food– especially the appetizers. They also made our cake and it was exactly as I had pictured and it was so delicious.
I had given Cat tons of decorations to set up at the reception with a vague idea in my head and when we showed up at the tent, we were blown away. She is so talented and along with Erin, probably one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. It seemed like she was our friend attending to every possible need we had that day but 100% professional at the same time. She attended to every guest and made sure that our day was flawless. Literally nothing went wrong and everything was more perfect than we ever could have imagined. I have Erin and Cat to thank for a lot of that!

Words cannot even express how amazing Russell Morin catering was in the days leading up to and on the day of, our wedding. From the beginning they were easy-​going and pleasurable to work with. Meghan was our initial coordinator and she was so patient and understanding throughout our many changes and additions. Our day of coordinator was Allie P and I cannot say enough great things about Ali! Initially I was a little apprehensive that we had changed coordinators because Ali had not yet seen our venue but she and Meghan made the trip together to meet with us on-​site at the venue to go over everything two weeks prior to our wedding and having them both there really set my mind at ease. On the day of Allie and the rest of the Russell Morin crew were attentive, professional, helpful, pleasant, and AWESOME! They were more than just caterers, they were running the whole evening, and running it well! They went above and beyond in every possible way and Allie especially was so sweet and thoughtful, coming over to check in with me every so often and making sure that everything was to my liking and set up the way I wanted. I did not have to worry about a thing at all! Even the owner of the venue was commenting on how much more involved and attentive they were than some of the other caterers he works with. He even ended up sending most of his venue staff home because Russell Morin was taking care of everything! Another person that deserves a personal shout out was Melissa, our personal «butler». Melissa was so sweet, was there whenever I needed her, with a drink, appetizers, whatever we needed. She was AWESOME! And, I can’t forget to mention the food … OH MY! All night long all we kept hearing from our guests was how phenomenal everything was, from the appetizers to the entrees, to the chocolate covered strawberries and complimentary passed truffles. We knew the food was going to be great after we had our tasting but it still exceeded our expectations on the day of!

I think the food at our wedding was more important to my mom than to me. I’d been to so many weddings, and the food’s usually ok, occasionally pretty good, and I didn’t have very high expectations. That changed as soon I saw the sample menu in Morin’s proposal. Everything looked so yummy that I just hoped the tasting would live up to it. We ended up eating and laughing and talking for almost 4 hours at the tasting! I’m so glad I took the time then to linger over every delicious course, because I hardly ate anything on our wedding day.
I knew then that the food would be great, so I wasn’t surprised when our guests went crazy over it. Even the gluten free and vegan meals were (from what I hear) amazing. We did a veggie/​dairy meal: a squash soup/​pear salad duo and a choice of Georges Bank cod or autumn vegetable risotto for entrees. Passed hor d’oeuvres: fish and chips (in cones!), mini salmon burgers, cold spring rolls, 2 types of mini grilled cheese, and goat cheese tartlets. Everything was seasonal and prepared with care. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the cake. i really enjoyed all the cookies, brownies, and «shooters», but the actual cakes were a little dry, so we ended up going with an outside baker.
Beyond the delicious food, it’s their flexibility and attention to detail that really set them apart. We worked with Allie, who was incredible throughout the whole process. She’s sweet, knowledgeable, and open to all our ideas, from my colorful hot pink and purple linens to the cake plates for our dessert table. Between her and Patty at the Milton Hoosic, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They were a dynamic duo who executed all my ideas perfectly. Bottom line, they’re complete professionals who are enthusiastic about what they do and do it exceptionally well. We’d use them again in a heartbeat, especially if they bring those fish and chips!

I used Russell Morin for my wedding and have to say that I was overly impressed. We used them for all food, beverages, and desserts. I found the staff to be incredibly polite, professional, and helpful.
They have extensive food options for you to choose from and everything we tasted was very good. They had a variety of bonus options for signing our contract early (we chose to have a drink special passed during our cocktail hour). They also provided lemonade to all of the guests before the ceremony (non-​alcoholic) so that they would have something cool to sip on if they wanted. We had a traditional wedding cake and a s’mores bar for dessert (which I have to say was my favorite part of the reception!).
They also provide a «day of» wedding coordinator who does everything from making sure the tables are set properly, to making sure the food is all taken care of, to taking care of the wedding party before and during the wedding, and making sure the entire wedding runs on time and everyone is where they need to be. Maggie (our coordinator on the day) was amazing; we really felt she went above and beyond.
I would recommend Russell Morin catering to anyone planning a wedding or event. They exceeded our expectations.

We attended a friends wedding recently and they catered the affair. We were extremely disapointed in the quality of the service and food. Waiters were eating the appetizers as they were coming out of the kitchen-​tent, the staff was friendly except for a couple who had very nasty attitudes. Their pasta station was sloppy and messy, the sauces tasted like they were out of a jar… my fillet was dark brown and raw… The only good thing worth mentioning was the cheese display. I would probably not hire them for one of my events after this experience.
