This AT&T store is big, beautiful, with awful service. lots of smiling friendly faces ready to serve up a lot of misguided or just plain disinformation. First, when you walk in you are greeted by a someone with an IPad that takes your name and puts it on an electronic board. Then you wait and wait, while the person with the Pad does nothing but wait for the next person to walk through the door. They would be better off with a pick-a-number system but it wouldn’t look as cool. This place seems to be a training center because they’ve got one or two mangers always standing around doing nothing but talking to the real service reps. Still you wait. Managers can’t help you, they help themselves by not working. Even with an appointment, YOUWAIT!!! You can to better at the Rochester store. This store has cost me a lot of time and money. I complained twice to Corporate about this place. If I could give this place a ZERO I would. Think I’ll switch carriers.

I stopped at this store to pick up a car charger 6÷21÷15. This starts with being told I need to be «checked in» before I’m allowed to look through the store which took 5 min. while the customer in front of me was quizzed as to why she was there. Finally I got my chance to be quizzed and I told the guy I wanted a charger. I was now allowed to look at the chargers. After I chose one, he was unable to bill me for it and went to the back room to find a scanner or something. I asked another associate to ring me up and was told he needed to watch the front door in case someone came in. Finally the first guy came back and told the second guy he still could not ring me up. The second guy now agreed to ring me up and got smart with me about being in a hurry. He then rang me up, told me he hoped I didn’t have to wait in any other stores that day. When I got in my car, I plugged in the charger and it didn’t work. So… I went back into the store and now had their full attention. This time they gave me another charger in record time and I was on my way. 30 minutes jerking around with these idiots for what should have took five minutes. Will never go back. Who ever heard of being«checked in» to shop at a dime store full of retards.

I go through phones quicker than I go through men. I hate going to the phone store to get lectured that I’m not available for an upgrade, my new phone will ‘cost money’, and that I need to be more careful. I know all this people. I’m a professional phone breaker. At this AT&T store the guy behind the counter respected my skills and quickly offered help. He gave me sound advice on a new phone and traded my information into the new device in a timely manner. He was nice, quick and very professional.
