I was visiting Auburn from Chicago, and needed a spa for waxing & facial. I found Ambiance online. Parking was easy, and the spa had an aura of calmness and serenity.
If I could give Manon more than 5 stars, I would. I was thoroughly satisfied, and felt amazing when I left. It was the most painless brazilian wax I’ve ever had. I love my eyebrows, and the facial was awesome! Anytime I’m in town, I’m definitely booking with Manon.

I have gone to Manon and Michelle for several years and always a grand experience. Manon gives superb facials!!! Michelle awesome manicures and pedicures. Both pay attention to customer preference and satisfaction. They really care about their customers and it shows in the detail they give to their treatments. They both are totally skilled in their profession. and very professional in their work. Both have outgoing personalities and great sense of humor which adds to the overall experience. This is my go to place!!!

Rachel is awesome! She does my hair extensions and does a fabulous job. I always get so many compliments about my hair. She truly cares about her clients! I have had hair extensions for many years but since Rachel has been doing them for me my own hair has become much healthier.

Love this place! I moved to the area in March and stumbled across Ambiance for a hair cut. Colleen does an excellent job with my cut & color. Went back for a facial with Manon and wasn’t disappointed. Also have had the spa pedicure with Michelle and Matt gives a fantastic massage. Everyone is friendly and I can spend one day having everything done. Great one stop spa day or a quick hair cut!

First visit to Spalon was «good»… first snag I encountered was parking. It’s got a tiny parking lot which was full and required me to park about a block away at McCallisters… Filling out the first consult card only asked for personal information, nothing about my massage preference, allergies… nothing along those lines. The massages are performed in an area away from the main salon, which allowed for mostly quiet relaxation… My room was too cold. I should have spoken up, but eh. My therapist Audrey was a joy! She was thorough and my session was unrushed. I will be back to see her. Overall, ask for what you’re looking for and be sure to tip.

I went in for a spa pedicure because someone got me a gift certificate. The receptionist wasn’t friendly and the pedicure/​nail stations are in a glorified closet… not very spa-​like at all. The woman who did the pedicure was friendly and was thorough with scrubs and lotion. However, the whole reason I get pedicures done is to clip the nails and take away calluses. She spent hardly any time on caring for the cuticle or calluses or shaping the nails.
In less than one week, I had to clip my nails again myself, work on my calluses, and the nail polish was already «grown out» if you know what I mean, because she didn’t paint close enough to the cuticle. It also started chipping off. This was the most expensive and worst pedicure I’ve had. Not worth it. This is the reason I do pedicures myself, total waste.
