What was incredible experience from a surprising place! We were staying at the Comfort Inn and noticed that we could use our door key to get 10% off at the local Applebee’s so that’s how we decided to head that way for our last day in Auburn. We were immediately and warmly greeted, seated, and waited on at Applebee’s. Our table was clean. We were delighted to be able to see the Olympics on three different flat-screen televisions. I had a hard time deciding what to eat because there were SO many menu options. M got a steak with shrimp for about $ 14. I got a quesadilla burger for about $ 9. We both got vegetable sides and enjoyed them the best out of all of our food. My quesadilla was SOOOO salty to the point of being inedible. I ate a quarter of it and M tried a bite of it too. Although she initially thought that her steak was salty, she agreed that mine was overbearing. We both agreed that we couldn’t taste the meat. Our server came by and asked how our food was. M answered for the both of us and said it was«fine.» A few minutes later, a manager noticed my plate pushed away from me and asked about it. We explained that it was too salty. She admitted that they’ve had some really salty steaks lately and that she will tell the cook to be easier on the seasoning. She offered to replace my meal for me, but I declined her offer. Next, she said that she would take the quesadilla burger off of our bill. We both said that wasn’t necessary, but she did it anyway. In the end, we both ordered milk shakes(that we thought were far superior to those from Steak n Shake) and left feeling REALLY good about the amazing service experience. I really believe that Applebee’s did what they could to give us an exceptional dining experience.

I am not an Applebee’s fan but I eat here a lot. The food is always prepared very good and service is top notch. The manager of the place, Joel, I think that’s his name, has always gone out of his way to make sure everything was done right.
