I can certainly give the reason as to why we do NOT go to this facility any longer for our ER needs. Every time we’ve gone, it’s been at least a hour just to get a room except once when was almost as bad. The only time I got a room quicker than an hour was when I went there for a kidney stone. I was shown a room in 10 minutes(helps when your screaming!) and I was in severe pain. After another 5 very long minutes, a nurse came in and stated that it would be another 15 minutes before a doctor(changing shifts?) could come in to see me(despite the fact I was literally screaming in pain.) After I threw up in the garbage and wife was able to find someone to help, I was given care. months later, Wife went in for severe stomach pain. We were put in the lobby for about 2 hours, during that time she threw up twice. We decided to return in the morning(1am at the time). Meanwhile a student of mine(I’m an elementary teacher) was there for a broken ankle. He waited almost 3 hours before treatment. Later in the morning, my wife suffered a terrible miscarrage. 3 months later, when she was carrying, she starting spotting, she went back and after I got off work, I tried to drop by to see her.(yes, she waited about an hour to get a room). I went into the main hall and there was no one at the desk. I waited about 15 minutes then got frustrated and walked right into the ER main work area. Noone even paid attention to me. I walked right up to the nurses desk and asked where my wife’s room was. Three nurses couldn’t tell me that my wife was three steps away from the station in the adjoining room. We lost another pregnancy and Auburn Regional lost a client. We’ll never return to that nightmare. Maybe they’ve gotten better since 2010 – 2011. But our family has lost toom much from their insensive medical care! BTW. the other review says 2.5 hours is a good visit? Not for an E. R in my opinion!

Isn’t the rule«when you’re bleeding, you get back immediatly»? My BF punctured his hand with a saw and was bleeding. We live 4 mins away from auburn hospital, otherwise we would have gone somewhere else. We got there and SHUMYALA(stupide people get names in caps) had us sit down to begin the process, then walked away. BF hand is dripping blood, and she leaves. And the triage nurse is sitting there reading a book! 7 minutes later SHUMYALA came back, and made small talk while checking him in, then passed us to the triage nurse JULIE. She decided at that moment to check for clean rooms, so she up and left. 5 minutes later she came back to tell us the janitor just came back from lunch and she didnt have any clean rooms. She proceeded to check BF in, then had us follow her to the back– a curtained off area with the janitor cleaning it. From walking in thr door, it had taken them 57 minutes to get a bleeding man back to a dirty room. once back there, things happened quickly. They gave him a tetnus shot, with whooping cough vaccine, THEN asked if he had already had one. He broke out in a fever and was told«it happens.» 2 stiches from a very helpful nurse and we were out the door. My advice? DONTCOMEHERE!!! And just like the other HONEST person that only gave one star, i’m sure i’ll be in the filtered reviews. i just hope you still get to read this.

Massive ER, compassionate doctors, in and out in 2.5 hours for a foot injury. Why show only COPS and TRU-TV on the ER televisions? Talk about adding to one’s anxiety…
