I called in an order on the weekend about midday. I ordered the brisket sandwich with fries. The service was not friendly at all. The fries were cold and soggy, the brisket sandwich was very tough and dry to eat.

Ordered the full rack of rib. Yummy. Tasty, moist, fall off the bone, finger licking great and that’s without any sauce! We also ordered onion rings, sweet potato fries and smokey Mac n cheese. We will be coming back for more.

I wish I had tried this place out sooner, as it has been in business for several years now and I just started going in this year. I have always thoroughly enjoyed everything I’ve ever ordered here. They have a good selection of meats, which are never greasy or overly seasoned. They also have a good selection of interesting sides. I was tickled pink when I first came in here and saw they had fried okra, as my family is from Texas and it is *very* difficult to find fried okra on the west coast. Sweet potato fries are also a nice southern treat :) Every time I’ve ever eaten here, I’ve always left stuffed and carrying a box of leftovers for tomorrow, so I find it a tad baffling that several other reviewers are complaining their portions were too small… yeah maybe if you’re a heifer! There are several unique sauces to choose from. Most are a bit too sweet for my preference, but they’re decent nonetheless. The bottled beer is expensive. But overall this is a nice place, and worth a stop in if you like good BBQ.

Fried okra. Amazing, place is known for Bbq. I was visiting a church member at the nursing home up the road. I asked the lady in the front where I could get good BBQ. She recommended this place. Get the sampler plate. You will love the fall off the bone rib meat. Plenty of parking. Don’t expect fancy. Expect delicious.

Worse Ribs I’ve ever had! Lots of fat and meat was tough. We were considering them for catering but probably not.

We were in the area for beer tasting and got a little peckish for some good BBQ. The wonderful Unilocal app pointed us here. Hubs and I shared the 3-way combo. We ordered the pulled pork, half chicken, and brisket for to go. After we left we realized they gave us ribs instead of pulled pork. We were a little disappointed. The portions were a on the small side. It was barely enough to make the both of us full. I did really like their brisket though and couldn’t stop raving about it. I also like all the different BBQ sauces they have. Yummy! The mac n cheese was boring and tasted much like the one by Kraft. I would still come back though because their brisket is really good. Also, I would finally like to try their pulled pork.

Wow! Just today, I had a 3 way combo of Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Smoked Bratwurst. Holy Smoke(pun intended) was it delicious! I grew up on Southern Hickory smoked Barbeque, and so I’m spoiled. But, this was/is the best Barbeque I’ve had in California, bar none. It was slow smoked with fruit wood, and served without sauce all over it which is the way real smoked meats should be served, and though the sauces available were outstanding, the meats were so juicy, tasteful, and tender that no sauce was required whatsoever. Score! There were also lots of great sides to choose from, and so I had Fried Okra, and Potato salad which were both outstanding. The dining room is very sports bar-like(read casual) and with plenty of seating, the service was awesome, the whole place is very clean, and the people extremely friendly. I’ll be back again and again as this food was really very good, and the whole experience was top notch.

First of all, I see several reviews complaining about arriving near closing and not having a full selection. Anyone familiar with smaller BBQ shops knows it’s takes hours to properly make brisket, ribs, etc. It is a risk you assume as a consumer. To expect every item on the menu minutes before closing is just not realistic. What you are really saying is, «the place didn’t cook enough food at 6am and possibly throw out tons of leftovers in case my snarky Unilocal ass „might“ show up.» Get over your indulgent self. The food? Award winning!!! It’s popular. It can be out near closing. The owner is a local. Killer BBQ. Great fries, homemade potato salad, huge sweet onion rings. Get there early to enjoy the full range of the menu. Parking. It’s «rinky dink» and shares with Indian dealer. Get over it. Remember you are there for food, not luxurious parking. There is an empty dirt lot across the street. Meat? It’s from Longhorns, which is legendary. You can even buy steaks and bacon from Longhorns. My review? 5 stars for the food, not the parking or the fact I might not get ribs 5 minutes before closing.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!!! The uniqueness of the savory sauces pairs perfectly with EVERYTHING! Brisket, ribs, chicken — all carnivore deliciousness. My favorite side dish is the fried okra. BEST! And they’ve got a great variety of beers and TVs so you’re set to just sit back and have a great time, every time!

I don’t usually go to a lot of bbq restaurants but this one caught my eye so we ventured off our trail to come to bam dazys. I got a pulled pork sandwich, onion rings and Mac and cheese. My boyfriend got smoked chicken, ribs and brisket. He couldn’t even talk because he was enjoying his food so much and I tried with all my might to even get halfway through one onion ring because the pulled pork and macaroni were so great that it left little room for much else. 5 stars.

We eat here every time we head toward Auburn, about once a month. It’s worth the drive. Authentic BBQ. We have tried most everything, my fav is the St. Louis ribs, my husbands, the brisket. Family owned & run & casual. Just like a great BBQ place should be.

My family and I ate here for the very first time tonight. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. We couldn’t decide what we wanted so we ordered a little of everything. We had more food than our family could eat for less than $ 50. That is a bargain for our family of 8! The beer available was no ordinary beer, it was bottled beer from SF — beer I haven’t had in years. I can’t believe I found such a treasure of food and beer and this little BBQ place. More than I expected and it didn’t break my budget.

I’m not sure why I waited so long to eat at this spot, but I’m a fan! BBQ is never my first choice, but Bam Dazy makes me consider it on a more frequent basis. The food here is delicious! Their Cuban Sandwich and Pulled Brisket Sandwich are flavorful and the portions are large. The brisket is so tender and tasty, as well as their pulled pork. There are many choices of sides, from beans-coleslaw-fries-cornbread-hush puppies to name a few, and there are many more. Like daily specials? Their take on a burger is always original and plentiful, oftentimes with an onion ring added in there just for fun. I love their homemade BBQ sauce, specifically their Hog house and blackberry. Bam Dazy has won multiple awards for their BBQ and they also cater events. I really can’t say enough about this little place. My next«try» is the Fried Chicken… no the Ribs! Or the Pulled Pork tacos/chimichanga. No wait… maybe I’ll have their BBQ Chicken? Hmmm…

The food is good, I can see why they have Awards decorating their walls. But it feels like every time we have been here, Im told I cant order something. Apparently the employees care more about getting off work than they do providing a quality experience. Maybe once they were just flat out of something. But every other time… «We cant make that our oven is off» … «That takes too long and we are about to close»… «Well we close at 5 and its 445 so you cant order» Ive worked everything from prep and line cook to sous chef and kitchen manager. I went to culinary school. The restaurant business is my business. I have been thoroughly unimpressed with this restaurant, but I bet Id love them at a cook off!

Was in the mood for BBQ and Unilocaled some choices. I chose here over the others because they were one of the few that didn’t douse their meat in sauce. On fathers day we pull up at 1130 into this dinky parking lot they share with Indian Motorcyles. There is only maybe 10 parking spaces but their dining room does not hold much more either. They have 4 tables and counter seating along the back wall. It allows for about 30 people but really only 20 comfortably on the inside. Anymore would be severely cramped. There are a few tables outside. I was craving some Brisket from Jamies Grill on Broadway so I got the Brisket plate $ 12.99 and my husband is always a rib lover so he got the St Louis Ribs $ 13.99. Both came with two sides. We chose Mac n Cheese and potato salad. Well my brisket was no Jamies. It was a shredded mess and MUCH smaller than I had anticipated for the price. My husbands ribs were very good and tender. I believe there were 4 or 5 different sauces to choose from a squeeze bottle. None of them that I really liked and all were very sweet. I wish they had just a regular smokey flavored sauce that was neither sweet or spicy. The mac n cheese was very cheesy. I usually find them to be very dry at other BBQ places when they make their own which makes me wonder if they are made from scratch? because they are very reminiscent of the Mac n cheese I have had at Kentucky Fried Chicken. The potato salad was definitely homemade but had olives in it that I wasn’t fond of and the potatoes were so undercooked that I could feel the hard edges in my mouth and had to spit it out. Overall I think they were just good. Nothing memorable but because they also have burgers/sandwiches and some interesting items like stuffed tator tots, I would go back again but in no hurry to do so.

Best BBQ anywhere! The beef brisket, ribs, chicken, ribs… it’s all phenom! The sauces are all so amazing! Go in and eat there and slather on all the wonderful sauce your heart desires as each table has bottles of sauce on them. The restaurant is clean and comfy as well. The beans. The beans, like seriously, those beans! Just try them! They are to die for! The Bam Balls for appetisers are these tasty little explosions of tater tots in your mouth, worth every calorie! Love me some Bam Dazy!

Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. But, I’ll never understand why you have a vegetarian working the order counter. This person was very nice and all, but it’s just plain wrong to hear, «I don’t know, I’m a vegetarian» when one asks for menu recommendations at a BARBECUE restaurant. Don’t get me wrong: I’m not trying to be a vegan-hater, but you’re harshing my meatapalooza buzz whilst I’m immersed in the goodness of smoked meat smell with your life choice statement that clearly does not belong in this environment. Ribs: best ever. Brisket: amazing. Sweet potato fries: fantastic. Pulled pork: great. Sauces: ran out of positive adjectives. Go next door and buy an Indian from Carlo when you’re done.

I’ve eaten here at least 10 times and have NEVER been disappointed. No matter what you get, it’s gonna be good. My fav is the brisket — just so flavorful. They’ve got the best baked beans I’ve ever had(my ma agrees and she’s got 50+ years of bean sampling experience). In fact, their side dishes alone would make a fine meal. I recommend them for lunch, catering, & bringing home dinner :) Cute dog pics too.

My friends and I went on a snow-day-trip top sugar bowl and we stopped by here for dinner. honestly, in my opinion, based on the price and quality of the food that I ordered I would have probably given a 4 stars but I guess, some of the items that my friends ordered didn’t satisfy lots of them so I have to be fair and give a 3 stars. I ordered the pork ribs combo with mac and cheese and onion rings! The portion was quite large. The ribs were smoked with dry rubs and they had bbq sauce on the table. It was quite tasty but although it was not the best I’ve had(well…I frequent Texas SMokehouse in San Jose and Phils BBQ in San Diego. both have legit bbq!). The onion rings were actually pretty good too. I liked that they were not heavily battered. The Mac & Cheese was meeehh though. A bit too thick on the cheese and a bit too mushy for my taste. One of us ordered the fried chicken plate and WOW!!! I think there were like 4 pieces and lots of fries. really good portion for the price too!(It was like 9.99 I think). I was bummed that the only veggie dish they had was fried okra… no corn on the cob(not in season I guess) and no collard green. I like meat but I want some veggies too. One friend ordered the Cuban Sandwich and it was not that good… and the brisket plate had very little meat on the plate and my friend thought the meat was too dry. Certainly not a bad find. the bathroom was clean! the place was small and most people ordered to go but it’s certainly a descent stop to grab a bite b4 heading back home from our snow trip :)
