Just drove up here from LA to visit family. We had a long 7 hour drive, we stopped here to grab some lunch. It was such a refreshing visit. Marissa was our server, she was so awesome, she made that long drive feel like it was worth it. The food was great, very fresh, and tasty. Overall, I’m very happy we stumbled into this place. Thanks for lunch Marissa!

Chevy’s has always been one of my favorite restaurants ever but this locations blows the rest out of the water! The food is excellent as always but the service is unmatchable. From the hostess to the bar tenders to the managers every person who works there genuinely cares about each of their customers. They make you feel like royalty. Making sure you have everything exactly as you like it and never satisfied until everyone at the table has smiled and laughed at least once during the meal. They are great for families and large parties. Never even bat an eyelash at a request to split a check 7 ways. I know how difficult that can be and they are always happy to please! If you want delicious food and drinks with the best customer service in the company go to Chevy’s in Auburn!

So nice. Let us sit on the outdoor patio with our dog. They brought out water and chicken for our dog without us asking them to:) Also, the house margaritas were amazing. Great service, food, and drinks!

Evening, Easter Sunday: After a long day of voice-over work with the gang, I was incoherent, needed some take-away yum. Shannon took the order, and impressed the heck out of me – over the phone! When I arrived, her intelligence, composure, professionalism, humour, articulation – all, just floored me; she is the absolute antithesis of the angsty, bored, dim, unkempt people who seem to pervade the industry, these days.(This Chevy’s does a fine job of weeding those out, anyhow!) Keep her, Chevy’s, or I’LLHIREHER! Thanks! :)

Chips were good but had to wait because they were not ready. Food I order came with a lot of beans and rice but the main course was very small for $ 12. Ripped off!!!

We’ve have a hit and miss thing with Chevys for years but this trip have finally tipped the scale and we won’t be going back to this one. Came in to get some chips and salsa to go. Thought, why not some guacamole. I waited in the car and my wife comes back with the goods and says, it was $ 18, with a look of confusion. I looked at the receipt because usually the chips and salsa are like $ 5 – 6. The guacamole was $ 13!!! And it was a half filled half pint container!!! She said she told them that was ridiculous and they told her it was 4 scoops at $ 3 a scoop. I took it back inside and said basically that there was no way that that tiny bit of guac is $ 13 and she said that’s what her manager told her. So I said I don’t want it and I want my money back. She went to get her manager. So this guy walks up and start taping on the computer and not looking at anyone. She walks up and explains the situation, but he never looks up from the screen. I hear him muter something about«that’s right». And she says«he’s standing right there.» Finally the guy turns and looks at me and then just turns back to the computer and start tapping away to give me the refund. He says, «you got your pound and half pint?» I figured after a second he was talking about the chips and salsa and say«yeah». The receipt prints and he hands it the the waitress without looking and she hands it to me to sign. He turn and says«you’ll only be charged for the pound and half pint». Then I can’t remember if he walked of or went back to his computer. I feel bad for the waitress, don’t know her name but she was pregnant, because he didn’t seem to give a crap about anyone around him. I’m giving 2 stars because the waitresses were just doing what they were told and I do really love their chips and salsa.

We ordered takeout for my dad’s birthday and were extremely disappointed with the amount of food received considering how much we spent there($ 75). The food itself was good, but the portions were small. It looked like for the chicken fajitas they cut one chicken breast and shared it between our two orders, there were barely any vegetables, and not enough tortillas even with paying for extra.

Just had lunch. Carnitas fajitas are so filing. Two could easily share. Was so tender. We had tableside guacamole last time. It’s really great. Try it. The server was friendly, quick and efficient. Job well done.

We went on a Friday night. Wasn’t too busy. We sat at the bar, usually get better service at the bar. We ordered the Southwest Cobb salad, and appetizer. The menu describes«crispy bacon(which automatically makes it delicious)» The manager served our salad, explaining they are out of bacon, and takes a while to make more. Asked if we would like more chicken instead, we said sure. He never came back! We never saw him again! Terrible service! Spend $ 100 on dinner and don’t get what you order! Would have been nice if they let us know when we ordered they were out bacon. Would have ordered something else!

Ordered a veggie quesadilla, didn’t come with sour cream and guacamole like the menu said. Bottom was soaked with salad dressing, and inside was filled with carrots and squash and pineapple… Who in the world would put that in a quesadilla??? I expected a veggie quesadilla would have stuff like tomatoes, onions, COOKED mushrooms, etc.

I remember back in the late 2000’s, I loved going to this Chevy’s with the family. The food was fresh and very tasty, the waitstaff was eager to please, and drinks were stiff! We hadn’t been there in a couple years, so we decided to give it a go recently. Our meal was generally cold, the beans were watered down like soup, the meat was rubbery, and the fajita vegetables were a salty, mushy mess. It was like canned food, thrown in the microwave and slapped on a plate. Gross. And the servers seemed as if they’d never been trained. Dropping our taco salad on the ground(after already taking foreeeever to serve our meal), was the icing on the cake. Like so many other large corporate restaurant chains, Chevy’s has marginalized their quality and service over time, slowly but surely. What a bummer.

Went in for lunch with my son. Greeter took us to a table and delivered chips and salsa. Salsa was great, chips not the freshest but we let that slide What we could not ignore was sitting and being totally ignored for over 15 minutes. The place was not very busy — in fact there were probably as many servers as customers. In the end we walked out. They don’t deserve my business.

This was my third trip to this location and it seems to go further downhill each time. The place is just not clean at all. The waitress was very nice, but food was served cold and was probably mediocre when it was hot, if it was ever hot. The place smelled bad overall and when I used the restroom, it clearly was the source of the trouble. Definitely a sewage issue going on in there… it’s time to find a new place to meet up with the family.

What can I say. It’s a Chevy’s. Started out with chips and salsa and ice teas. One of the ice teas had, a dead fly in it. They did have a sign on the door stating they would be closing at 8pm to clean the kitchen so i guess i was forwarned. That should have been a clue. Got my replacement ice tea, she forgot the straw… not touching the rim of that glass. At least ill get my excercise iwith all the shoeing away of flys. . So I’m looking around the place while at my booth seating and notice an empty table across from me, set and ready for seating. They must only wipe down the tables because the chairs, two of then had food left on them. Maybe that’s why this place has flies. Hum… won’t be back!!! The waitress was excellent, she’s not the problem. She actually located the fly in my drink, at no extra charge !!! She still charged me for the ice tea…

We were in our day trip to Roseville then decided to stop in auburn to had some lunch at Chevys. I ordered the beef fajitas came with rice & refried beans. My husband ordered sizzling fajitas salad. For appetizer we ordered zesty wings. The zesty sauce was good and the wings were pretty good too, crunchy outside and cooked perfect. My beef fajitas was good. The rice was pluffy too. They put the fajitas in the sizzling pan with a plate on each side for guac and rice & refried beans. My husband fajitas salad was just so so. The fajitas chicken was cooked perfect. But it just nothing special and was over price for a bowl of salad and chicken. Service was friendly and very nice. Always checked on us. The price little bit more than ordinary Mexican places.
