Finger Lakes Drive-In

So yeah movie buff here. Gotta say today was terribly disappointing. Me and my lady decided to come here instead of our normal fix at the other drive in i wont name because frankly the movie selection was way better here. Upon arrival i was immediately disappointed. The concession stand, bathrooms, building are at the front of the drive in right by the screen (which also was smaller than usual). I got over it and we parked and went in to got our food. It took 25 mins… Gr. the burgers were good though. The soda is NOT pepsi products like their website says. They are knock off sodas which had minimal flavor. What really upset me was that their fm radio wasnt working and when we used the speaker they provided it was slightly busted so during any base parts it sounded garbled. The last straw they wont bring me back is that Ant Man has 2 stingers but they shut the movie off within about 45 seconds during credits and we didnt get to see them. Sorry guys i know you work hard but way too many issues.

Its a bare bones drive in — so you can’t expect a whole lot. Most drive-​ins have vanished so keeping one alive isn’t the easiest thing in the entire world. The concession stand is old and takes forever to get something, but that isn’t out of the ordinary at any old movie theater either.
The movie quality was above average. The sound is great, they still have the old school speakers you can put in your window (and they work) or you can use your radio. I was surprised they still have the speakers, most drive-​ins have gotten rid of those long ago.
The bathrooms were sub-​par, but again, what do you expect for an outdoor theater operating on their last dollars. As a guy it wasn’t that bad for me — I can imagine for a girl it wouldn’t be the best.
But for $ 25 myself, my girl, and her two kids watched 2 movies for $ 25 — that isn’t bad at all. Going to the theater would have run us at least $ 40 per movie would be my guess.

Never again. Bathrooms are horrifying, concession stand took 25 minutes to get a bottle of water, then they couldn’t get the movie started. 30 min past start time and we are all stil sitting here in silence looking at a blank screen. Don’t waste your time
