We’ve been here before and the food wasn’t as bad as tonight. I got the fish and chips which are advertised as fresh cod in a panko breading. Way too much breading and definitely did not taste fresh! I asked if it was fresh or frozen and the server couldn’t say. I picked the fish out and ate it, the cole slaw didn’t have any dressing in it, and the fries were blah. My husband’s burger was a thin slice of dry beef in a big bun. I didn’t complain about it because he ate it. I asked him why he ate it and he said he was so effing hungry what was he suppose to do… After serving us our food(we were at the bar) our server never came and asked us how our meal was. Another server took over for her because she had to go out back(I heard this conversation between her and the other server). I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the fish not tasting fresh. We received a $ 5 gift certificate. Won’t spent that on food! Disappointed because this place is just down the street and convenient, but after tonight we can think of plenty of other places to drive to for dinner!

This was one of the worst meal i have had in the area in a long time. Bread was stale on my chicken burger. Chicken very dry. Food was warm. BBQ sauce served cold on the side. French fries bland. The first impression was not good. Parked vehicle and discovered that the walkway was full of wet leaves. Porch was not swept. On a good note: Local craft beer sold. Servers were pleasant. This could be a gem in the area with a little more attention to detail.

Food is good, waitresses were nice, wait time for food was ridiculous! They could do alot better if the kitchen got their shit together and turned out the food a little faster. Probably won’t be going back.

Food is average at best. Nothing special but not a great selection around the lake. Won’t be back again tried twice.

This isn’t a fancy place, but it’s honest food. If you want a suggestion go for a salad with the grilled chicken, especially the Cobb. They also make a decent burger, try the Pentuckey.

I had the pizza lunch special… good deal! Homestyle setting, great service. Not noisy at all. The pizza crust is delish, and u get your choice of four toppings. I will definitely be back!

This is a wonderful tool place for lunch or dinner! We had the tri-tip salad with extra tri-tip and sweet potato fries. The seasoning on the try tip is perfect. The food was wonderful –very tasty — and the service was excellent

Go here pretty much everytime in town… a kids fav. Service is very friendly. Like the pizza plus not too a bad price. Food outside of pizza unsure other than the terrible fish & chips i had last visit. Place closes a bit early week nights a negative. Big booths works w family and kinda fun trivia game. Not alot in the area honestly so very convenient location wise.

ZEROSTARS! just ordered the alfredo with shrimp and they put burnt inedible coconut prawns on it. ordered the chicken mediterranian pasta and no exageration the chicken was an 8th inch thick and fried beyond edibility or recognition. The entire takeout order was literally inedible. spent $ 45 for two entrees and a salad and we both ate one bite each. Probably the worst takeout ive ever had in my life. like a review above says, it was so blatenly over the top bad that i actually feel like i was robbed! Never had food so bad I felt angry. just hurry up and shut the doors its pretty obvious nobody there gives a fu$&.

Not to be harsh but Northridge how are you still in business? We have tried and tried and then waited a few months and then tried again… When I see that people actually gave 5 stars to this place it absolutely boggles my mind. 5 stars??? Why? The atmosphere is terrible. Nothing about it flows or makes any sense at all. The dining area is cold in the winter and majorly lacking ambiance. The service is so so… From the bar we have watched as the young cooks throw food at each other. Every single thing we have ordered off the menu here clearly came out of the freezer. And If you are going to stack and stack and stack wine in your bar, at least dust it. Sad because we have tried to support a local business that feels as if they lack pride in their brand.

Ok. That’s it. I have had it with this place. After 6 month Food Nazi probation, I got to go food here and got abused and robbed by inedible gross«Turkey Gringo«Sandwich and a Reuben that looked like it was made by a sloppy drunk. This«food» pissed me off so bad, I have waited a week before Unilocaling just so I didn’t spew a litany of impolite vulgarities about what a substandard food operation this dump has truly become. We did not even eat more than one bite each. No nasty-grams, no phone calls, nothing. That is it. Death penalty. Give them the Chair. I hope this place goes dark so another operator can have a chance, because this place is a certified, bona-fide DUMP. And that’s a prime location. They’ll probably dump the profits from the other two stores into this rat-trap long after I am dead and gone. Dammit. Have you ever been so outraged at bad food that you don’t even cuss or type bad words about it? I am there.

I didn’t like this place at all. the food was crap, the waitress was horrible and it was a bad experience. It was my first time here but my mom and sister had been here before. We were sat within 5 minutes, given menus and the waitress told us she’d be back in a minute for our drink order…5 minutes and she never came back… finally came back we ordered and it took a long time… and it took me at the end to go up and ask for our check. She was rude the entire time and just overall unprofessional. I don’t think I’ll be going back… plus it was 40 for me my sister and my mom… for lunch!

Two stars just because servers are always so nice here! It’s not their fault. The food is just greasy here. The idea of roasted veggies on the menu with some type of chicken or «prawns» sounds really good. Had this twice cuz I wanted something on the lighter side. The chicken was good but came swimming in butter. Asked this time, for a little less of the swim thing. I was told that they cut their shrimp themselves(not frozen) they tasted good but we’re definitely not prawns. Again came in tons of butter. Not what I had in mind ;(

Every time my family & I have gone in here we have gotten subpar service. Atmosphere is lacking. Food is overpriced for what it is. This is sad because the other Northridge’s are great. Soo sad. I would NOT recommend.

Excellent spot to grab a bite before doing anything up the hill! had the bottlecap burger with a garden patty, super delicious, the bottle caps appear to be fresh jalapenios, battered in house rather then the frozen ones youg et from dennys! and the jalapenio ranch is dank!

I love Northridge in Nevada City, but this one just isn’t an equal. The food is still good, and the service is great. The«local place» atmosphere is lost on this location. I will keep going here when I visit my parents.

Came in on a Friday night right in the middle of the rush with a party of 6 and were seated right away. Wait staff was… interesting. Our main server, Mary, was both willing and able to put up with my father-in-law’s antics, for which she receives my high praise. Had a very new girl as well who did her best to please us as well as at least 2 other servers that helped out at various times. Personally, I wasn’t crazy about the layout of the place, but that’s just me. Food wise — my son ordered a burger, which he said was pretty good. I had fish ‘n’ chips, which were alright(came with some interesting, but good, tartar sauce). I also had their house root beer, which was not bad at all but was a little pricey. We also shared a chocolate mousse dessert, which was fantastic and a proper size. One of our companions had what looked to be shrimp fettuccine and she was not at all happy with it(said it was«gross»). Mother-in-law had the BLT and it was good. For my son and I(burger, fish ‘n’ chips, special root beer, coke, and chocolate mousse) our part came to ~$ 32 before tip, which is probably about right even though the food could use some quality tweaking. I’d go back if there wasn’t anywhere else worth driving to.

Surprised to see such angry Unilocalage. Came in on a sunday after a miserable round at Alta Sierra. Not the courses fault but mine, and meandered into the bar. They had the Raider game on and we are off to a nice start. Ordered the the cheesy bread appetizer and it was perfect. Ordred the Penntucky burger(think western bacon from carls jr) and it was perfectly cooked medium with real bacon. Had perfectly friendly service and had a perfectly poured, in the proper glass, lambic. Perfectly friendly service. There is a theme here… Only if my golf game was this good.
