Counter person looked at me crazy when I asked for a pastrami reuben… It looked and smelled like a deli, I promise. The pastrami and Swiss on the menu was good, but a little sauerkraut and Russian dressing could have turned a three into a four.

Very good sandwiches, the ciabatta sandwiches actually looked like the advertising which is rare. They don’t skimp out on the the ingredients. The staff was also very friendly. Toy order your food at the counter then they bring it to your when it’s ready. Would eat this over subway any day.

Excellent food. Love the Turkey sandwiches and especially the sourdough buns. By far the best sandwiches in Auburn, in my opinion! The turkey, tomato, and lettuce are great. Don’t know where the other reviewer gets«better sandwiches» at. I’ll sometimes drive across town for a Schlotzsky’s sandwich! I’ve never been terribly impressed with any other sandwiches around Auburn or Opelika. Also, the«Cinabon» cinnamon rolls are excellent. My favorite are the ones with pecans. They also have cheesecake available if you’re in the mood for that, but the cinnamon rolls are their best dessert. Another reviewer complained about the management, but it’s always been great when I’ve gone. Schlotzsky’s would have to be one of my favorite restaurants in town. Would definitely recommend it! Nobody else makes a sandwich like they do.

Not particularly good, but not particularly bad. With all the sandwich options in Auburn, you can get a better sandwich for a better price. Probably won’t come back unless there is some exceptional deal.

The sandwiches are just ok. I don’t care for shredded lettuce. I like the sourdough bread and love the sourdough crust pizzas! The sandwiches are too expensive for what you get.

The employees upgraded my small Hawaiian sandwich to a large without any charge. Beware of the portions, because the large takes up an entire to-go box that I could hardly keep this closed. It also helped that the bread was super soft, and my sandwich had plenty of tasty meat. Even though it’s called the Hawaiian sandwich, it had no pineapple. The restaurant is cute and clean. It’s neat they have a Cinnabon and Carvel ice cream portion although I wouldn’t really recommend the ice cream. It tasted like really thick whip cream to me but you get a choice of 1 topping with it.
