I can not in good conscience leave a positive review up for this place. After watching WTSP Restaurant Red Alert and the lack of food safety/control, sanitation and the response that a roach problem doesn’t really fall under a sanitation issue(in their opinion) is beyond disturbing. You don’t leave food in open bags in a pile of ‘sludge’ on the floor and then serve it to customers. You don’t leave a bucket of pizza sauce on the floor with the lid off. Roaches feed of this crappy environment. Fix your crap. Shut your restaurant down indefinitely until EVERY issue is corrected. While you’re at it, send your employees through training on food handling, safety and SANITATION! Gross. Just gross.

In no way is this… New York pizza. We requested no black olives and our pizza was covered in them, the crust like cardboard, and the vegetables tasted a little old. Worse even, the Tiru Misu was frozen, obviously«store bought». Willing to overlook, I decided to just call, nicely, let them know the mistake, possibly prevent the next persons pizza from being covered in something that could send them to the hospital. I didnt expect a new pizza, money back, or free food in the future(mainly because we will not be back) but I did expect respect. Immediately I was told I never said anything about black olives(wow weird since as long as I have been alive, Ive been allergic and would require a shot). The man answering the phone screamed to someone and then said he was looking at the ticket and it didnt say anything about olives.(well im sorry your employee failed to write a request down) BADSERVICE, ORDINARYPIZZA, FROZENSTOREBOUGHTDESERTS, ANDDISRESPECTFORCUSTOMERS = 2THUMBSDOWNFORTHISFAMILY. Onward to find great pizza here near Orlando. Open for suggestions?

We tried this for the first time last night, and decided it’s our new pizza place! Got a large pepperoni pizza and mild wings. Pizza was great, wings were the best I’ve ever had! I would recommend this place to anybody looking for something other than boring chain pizza places.

I gave this restaurant several tries after Auburndale Pizza Company went out of business. Each of my experiences was marked by marginal quality pizza, slow service, and kitchen staff who seemed not to care that the waitress had to do their job as well as hers. Auburndale is not lacking in other quality pizza places. I suggest you ask around and go to another store.

Giovanies has come a ways since being a gas station. But they still need to look at doing something with the entrance to the kitchen. They seem to try to be very casually friendly with their customers. which is a good thing. My wife & I tried one of their lasagna pizzas. It comes with crumbled meatball, ricotta cheese & maranara sauce. It was good but we both thought it could also do with some Italian sausage to add zip.

Really terrible pizza. Whoever decided that this was«New York style» pizza is out of their mind. Pies are small, they charge $ 3 for delivery, there isn’t enough sauce on the pizza but it’s flavorless anyway, and the cheese has the consistency of plaster. Avoid at all costs if you’re craving good pizza.
