Howard Johnson Inn Augusta – Fort Gordon

Our hotel room wasn’t cleaned. I mean… colotful stained sheets and pubic hair in the bathroom. I would not stay there again. Fitness equipment is broken, attitude of the personnel is… indifferent.

I found this online in searching around I didn’t find many options that sounded appealing. This was the best rated hotel for the cheapest price. If you’re driving down the road when you see the Howard’s hotel it’s right behind that.
I stayed here for four nights and probably got one good night of sleep. My biggest complaint were the walls themselves, they were very thin I could hear my neighbor snoring or watching TV. Other than that the service was nice the rooms were clean and the front desk attendants were very helpful.

Nice budget friendly hotel that seems to always be filled with military and their families (that’s why I was there). Staff was very warm and friendly. The place was clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. And I couldn’t hear noise through the walls. If you’re traveling with/​for the military you’ll probably enjoy your stay here.

A very reasonably priced hotel. We stayed here for a week while house hunting in Augusta and we have no complaints. The rooms are spacious and modern. Beds are comfy and come with a good number of soft pillows The staff is super friendly and helpful. Housekeeping came everyday, fixed the bed and left fresh towels. They offer a continental breakfast every morning until 0930 with bagels, cereal, eggs & sausage & other assorted pastries.
The hotel is located right down the street from Ft. Gordon, close to shops and right off the 20.
I would recommend booking this hotel online through a 3^rd party site (think priceline, expedia etc) it saved me $ 20 per night. If not the rate it $ 60 plus tax for a king sized room. Our room came with a microwave, small fridge, LCD tv and sitting area.
Best of all… free reliable WiFi!

Great price and the staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was good and nice selection, especially for kids.

The hotel was decent for the price. The LCD TV was nice and the bed was pretty comfortable. The staff is friendly and the continental breakfast is fresh. The room had its quirks (bathroom door wouldn’t lock, AC unit blew the drapes open), but it was worth the money. Our room was closest to the lobby and there was a lot of noise, I would suggest any room other than 102 and I’m sure you will be fine. Overall it was a nice safe place to crash for a couple days.
