Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse Store of Augusta

I’ve bought so many things from here in the past few weeks because I just bought a home. Paint, sandpaper, a lawnmower, gardening tools, some wood… yeah. I’ve even bought the WRONG thing a few times and had to take it back.
Everytime, I’ve been met with a smiling face and helpful service. And I“m happy with the prices.

We shop here all the time and will continue to do so. However, we were in need of a new hvac system and as we all know that’s a very expensive item. So I called to get someone to come out to give us an estimate and that’s when the issues started with this store. First, you can never get anyone to answer the phone when customer service pages them. Second, when they do answer all they can do is take your number and have someone call you to set up an appointment.
Now here we sit a week later with them having our number 4 times and not a single person calls to set up that appointment for us to get a new hvac system. Seems Lowes either doesn’t need our money it doesn’t want it, one or the other.
Again, we will continue to shop here but not for the big ticket items. If they change things and actually get someone there that will call you back then maybe we could recommend them for big items but not until then. There’s plenty more hvac vans driving around thy can do the same work

We were shopping for a new refrigerator at Lowe’s Store #0482 during an extended 30% off sale. Sam was great help making sure the refrigerator we wanted was in stock and could be delivered the very next day, morning or evening, our choice. We purchased the Samsung RF28HMEDBSR.
Our delivery guys called at 8:30 am next day saying they were on their way. They arrived in a timely manner and they were perfectly professional and EXTREMELY skilled. Willie Norman and Brandon Smart were the best delivery guys ever. This is a really big fridge and they did everything possible to make sure our counters, countertops, floors and cabinets were never damaged. There were some very tight squeezes. Just excellent delivery people. Highly recommended.

This is the «good» Lowes of the area. Worth the extra couple of minutes from Grovetown. The employees here go the extra mile.

I’d much rather come here than some of the competitors down the street for the selection, knowledge and ease of maneuvering through the aisles. I once had a really bad Sunday where I went back 4 times in 3 hours all in an effort to put a new lock on a door. You think it’d be a simple little switch but not when the door is over 30 years old and the previous lock has been practically welded into the door.
What’s a girl to do? Sandpaper? Check. Dremel? Check. Blowtorch? Let’s do it! Longer mechanical screws? Why not. And a sander for the warped door? I’m on a roll here people!
The nice lady behind the register did the best she could to not giggle at my face which I appreciated. She finally asked why I didn’t just get a new door. «Honestly, I’m so invested in this one right now. I just can’t give in.» She nods and says «I understand.»
You just can’t get that kind of empathy from all home improvement places I tell ya.

My water heater gave up the ghost and I needed a new one with all the appropriate tubing and extra bought. I sent my father on the mission to acquire everthing as I had to work. My dad started at a competitor and got no help wasting half an hour. He took a trip up the street to this location. After speaking with my father on the phone about which water heater to get, as the position of the pressure relief valve was in question, I was reassured by the fact that my dad had an associate by the name of Luke who he said would make sure that he would leave with everything he needed. I know lowes can feel sparce as far as employees at times but its people like Luke that will keep me coming back to this location.

They hit the target for service on Christmas night!
Time: Dec 24^th, 2009 @ 5:52PM (8min before closing time on Christmas)
Situation: Needed a top quality stainless steele gas BBQ grill… ASAP!
Details: After many trips, (and wasted time), to other stores in the Augusta area we could not find the grill we were looking for. Ready to give up, my daughter suggested Lowe’s on Bobby Jones. I floored it! (not breaking the speed limit of course).
Richie and other associates were there to greet us with a smile and more than happy to help. Knowing they had to bring the lift back up front to get the package, and knowing they probably really wanted to get to their families on Christmas with just minutes to go before closing, they gave us awsome service observing ALL safety precautions in retrieveing the product located on the very top of the shelving system. For that, our family is extremely grateful. We have always had great customer service from this store, but Christmas night was the true test.
RESULT: A better product at a LESS EXPENSIVE price BEFORE my 10% military discount with right-​on-​time selfless service.
