Didn’t like it. Driest piece of salmon I’ve ever had. I mean like tuna drained outta the can dry. I was with a group so I wrote it off to that. Went back a few months later with a friend and tried the salmon again, he got the steak. Same thing, salmon was soo dry and he didn’t like his steak at all. I dint see where the 4 – 5 stars are coming from. The hush puppies are good, but unless you get something fried… You’re taking your chances.

Ok seafood. Got the clam chowder for appetizer & the fried seafood platter. The clam chowder didn’t have a lot of flavor. The flounder was very good. The shrimp and oysters were fried too hard. Not the quality of seafood I expected for the price.

I hadn’t been to this place in a while and didn’t find it memorable but since it was Mister’s choice, I decided to give it another try. My last visit was 6 years ago and I found the food just ok and my piece of fish had a «fishy» taste. I couldn’t eat it. Oddly enough, I was not disappointed this time. The food was good and cooked to perfection. T’s is pretty divey in décor; nothing fancy. We went on a Friday night which is usually a busy night for dining out in the city but the wait time was nonexistent that night but the dining area full. Overall, I liked it and I’ll be back.

Breanna, our server was great. Drinks came quickly, followed by T’s awesome hushpuppies. I had a cup of clam chowder that was really tasty. It had nice tender pieces of clams and a good amount of fresh black pepper that I liked. For the entrée, I had a catfish filet and shrimp platter. Pay the small charge for fillets if you don’t like to pick your fish off of the bones. Once again the food and service was excellent. The restaurant is nice and clean and the lodge atmosphere is very nice. Will be back soon.

T’s is decent for what it aims for, but be aware of what you’re getting into before you go. If you’re in the mood for fried, greasy seafood and such, this will hit the spot. If you’re looking for quality fish and shrimp, an even remotely healthy meal, or something that won’t leave you feeling like you need to spend 3 hours in the gym the next day, I would recommend you avoid this place. The parking and seating are adequate, and the staff is great.

Worst restaurant I have been to in a long time. Not really sure where the 4 stars come from. We flew in and decided to go somewhere nice for lunch. Our first 2 choices were closed at the time we were here. So at the airport the lady at the FBO referred us to this place. The food was so bland and dried out. One person at our table got the fried catfish and her first bite she had was full of bones. She was gagging for a couple seconds trying to get them out. I had the popcorn shrimp and fried chicken and it tasted like it was from the frozen section in a grocery store. If this is good food here in this part of town I am truly sorry for the people who live here because you don’t have anything to compare good food too.

Their hush puppies are amazing and a southern staple! I’d definitely say they’re off the beaten path for most visitors to the Augusta area, but if you want some decent seafood 2 hours inland, T’s is one of your best bets. I’ve always had good service there as well, which is always a plus. They’re great for a quick lunch if you work nearby. Only reason they’re missing a star from me is the pricing(it’s a little high in my opinion), and they also haven’t updated the interior since I first went there as a little girl with my family over 21 years ago. Your kids will love the salad bar in the tin boat though, I remember it from my childhood amd the kid in me still gets excited about it.

I went to this place for a Christmas party. All I can say is, the food was absolutely blah, I would rather have gone to Rhinehart’s and paid half the price for decent seafood or even Red Lobster! From their hush puppies to their oysters, to the shrimp dinner we ordered, nothing had taste and it took an hour or so to get our dinner, unfortunately when the waiter brought my dinner plate, it was wrong. He brought me the lunch plate instead of the dinner plate. The shrimp were tasteless and tiny, their famed hush puppies tasted like fried dough and extremely greasy. I’ve been in the Augusta area now over 8 years and I promise that I will not be returning back here nor recommending it to anyone. Did I mention that the cole slaw was disgusting? I’m sure y’all get the point.

This place has been around forever. Great food, prices are a hit or miss. i say that Only because augusta doesn’t have that many good seafood restaurants. It’s definitely worth a try. I absolutely love their hushpuppies

I’ve had better battered tilapia from the frozen food section of costco. The previous time I had s steak and that was bad too. The salad bar has veggies in big chunks, your supposed to dive the veggies in a salad

I’m not much of a seafood eater outside of shrimp, but my friend who I was visiting Augusta with loves seafood and heard great things about this place and I noticed a couple shrimp dishes and chicken fingers on the menu so agreed to eat here with him. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Hush puppies were amazing and the best I ever had and they will bring you free refills of them. I had the grilled shrimp and Chicken strip combo plate. Shrimp was very fresh and tasted like it was cooked outside on charcoal I love the chicken fingers, huge and homemade and I would eat here again just for the chicken fingers. I tried my friends catfish and it was really good. I passed the salad bar coming in and it looked amazing as well.

Bottom line is it is over priced and the quality is not what it used to be. Pros: my catfish and popcorn shrimp lunch were good. The hush puppies are always delicious. Cons(and why it give them a 2 star rating) My date orders the Cajun shrimp for lunch. With salad this is approx a $ 13 lunch entrée. What she was presented with was 6 boiled shrimp in a bowl with a side of bake potato. The shrimp had absolutely no flavor and could not be eaten. The waitress offered to replace it and we asked for chicken fingers. Upon return with the chicken she said the kitchen manager tried the shrimp and they had let them sit in water too long. The chicken fingers were overcooked, dry, and tough. My date ate about 2⁄3 of one finger before giving up. Waitress saw they were uneaten and asked again if it was ok. We were polite but honest. When we received our check(which took a long time) she said they had discounted the meal. All in all in cost over $ 11 for a baked potato, small side salad, and a partial chicken finger. Have been eating here off and on since I was a child but will think twice about returning.

THIS place is killer! They even have a walk up window for the to go orders with a nice table in a covered awning area to use while waiting for your order. Parking on the side — enough for a bobtail or two in addition to the 4-wheelers. The food was really good. Perfectly hit the spot — nicely done fish, shrimpies and crab, oysters, catfish… you name it.

AMBIENCE — B SERVICE — B–(servers get a little frazzled working on many tables when place gets crowded) FOOD — B+(love the SALAD bar options! and chilled plates!) PRICE — B A family decades of tradition still in Augusta offering great seafood — definitely for a local experience, this is a great place. The farm catfish is perfect lightly battered and fried. Great seafood institution. Love the«chilled» plates. Salad bar has variety of fresh veggies. Pasta salads. Potato salads green leaf and iceberg lettuce. Like that they have real bacon and hard boiled eggs. Get there early when the initial presentation of the chilled«boat» salad bar is pretty and not so picked over… it’s get pretty gross after an hour. Crowded. If there’s a line waiting to sit down. Go into the bar. It’s the same menu. First come –first served. Also, try to go early… as it gets crowded, the servers are a little frazzled in waiting on so many tables… and the food does take a while longer to come out.
