This place has been by my house for a very long time, and I just recently decided to try it! I’m a starbucks addict, so sometimes it’s hard to destroy old habits. But this place has allowed me to slowly slip out of the starbucks grip. This nice, quiet little coffee shop is tucked away in a shoppette on Iliff & Peoria. Exposed to the public is a big sign that reads«Beantree Coffee!» The inside has a very relaxed aura. The people hanging around typically tend to be students studying and others working on the computer. There’s usually one to two ladies whipping up drinks or serving some tasty foods to accompany the foods. The service is timely; these baristas are quicker than some of the ones you would find at a Starbucks! They’re generally very friendly too. Coffee-wise, the coffee is usually piping hot, crisp and refreshing. The boba, however, wasn’t that impressive. I tried the cookies and cream slush boba for the first time and it had this chalky texture that made my tongue dry. It also lost a majority of its luster(the tiny amount it had) about a quarter way through the drink… I was not impressed. Great place to hang out, grab a quick cup, or get some work done. But I won’t suggest the boba drinks…

Oh super cute little shop they’ve got going on here. I think my hunt for a perfect local coffee shop might have ended here at Bean Tree Coffee. Coffee tastes great, and even if you’re not a fan of coffee they’ve got plenty of other options for you as well. They even have boba here which is a pleasant little surprise. For snacks they’ve got a variety of desserts and ice cream. So this is one of those places you can both quench your thirst and quell that angry stomach as well. They’ve got the usual free and fast wifi which is exactly what I was looking for in a coffee. They have plenty of seating and plenty of electrical outlets for all your electronic gadgets. I think they even had board games in the back, so it really is a pretty good spot to either chill with some friends or get some alone time work done. Definitely gonna keep this place in mind next time I wanna get out the house and do some work.

I’ve come here twice & both times the service was friendly/prompt. Their coffee is alright & their milk teas are meh/whatever. They have milk tea & boba but many of them taste powder based. I used to work @ a boba shop when I was a teenager & I come from a city where boba & milk tea is plentiful so my standards for milk tea are that: 1) the tea’s fresh 2) minimal usage of powders/syrups for flavor. They also serve ice cream that tastes fine but it’s not something you’d go out of your way for. I think this spot makes for a great hangout/meet-up spot. I’ve seen some study here but I feel like the joint’s too small for studying because every table there is close to the register so you’ll be overhearing every transaction as you study. However, the place never gets too crowded so maybe that wont be a big concern.

I absolutely love the matcha snow boba milk. I’ve been here at least 10 times in the past week and a half. Have the barista add vanilla instead of the regular sweetener. It’s amazing. I wish they had a rewards program. As much as I’ve been here, I think I’m due for a free drink. Lol.

I gave this place four stars because the drinks have always been great and I love the cozy environment. But the ladies working there have never been nice…

Very chill environment. Free board games to play. Had the snow lychee and the snow mango. Both were a tad too sweet. Gotta remember to ½ sugar next time. I asked for no boba and hubby had double boba. Some of the boba was a light brown(I know, wierd, right?) & he didn’t think it tasted right. Might come back if we don’t find a more righteous Asian boba café. We are transplants from San Diego.

Very good. It’s small, a little busy but I love it. Waffle was really good too. I love the atmosphere and it’s cheaper than starbucks, but tastes so much better! There’s boba and ice cream and coffee ahhh I loved it. Perfect place to study or just to hang out with friends. It wasn’t loud even though there were a lot of people. Very adorable.

Been going here for years. Good service and atmosphere! And if you aren’t feeling coffee, they always have ice cream or boba for an alternative treat. I appreciate all of the décor, seating places, & outlets. They know a good chunk of their customers love using this as a study café. I have done so many group projects at the late of night thanks to their location and hours. Another good chunk of their customers like to come here and do their neighborhood gossip.

I ordered the Gingerbread Mocha latte with Almond Milk, and it’s a deliciously spicy/sweet treat on this cold morning! Added the chocolate pumpkin bread to top off the never-ending sweet tooth, and it is not disappointing :) Also a very lovely atmosphere with an AWESOME, but quaint, book corner. Can’t wait to swing back by here again when I have more time to flip through the wine, food, and travel books!

This place isn’t just coffee! It’s also boba! I love boba and what a pleasant surprise to get boba when you were expecting just to be able to get coffee. The employees are really sweet too.

Nice little shop with a lot of variety! BeanTree has everything; ice cream, coffee, bubble teas, regular teas, and a sweet potato latte… What?! Yes! The sweet potato latte has a very good taste, and not all the additives that the other drinks have. Prices are reasonable(like any other coffee shop really). The inside has some space, but it’s not a place I would just come to hangout! Not«comfy» I guess you could say! But lots of options! And soy milk!

I come here to do work at least once a month! I love the space and electric outlets available to plug in laptops. People are always in and out at Beantree. Great spot for students to study(free wifi), few places are open as late in this area. Also lots of board games and cards available to play and hang out. They have an awesome coffee and tea selection, and I’ve found more and more people are coming in for the ice cream too! The pastries and breakfast burritos are alright, only get those when you’re desperate, haha. They are usually dry from sitting out too long. But definitely come for the drinks! They have a punch card for a free 11th drink!

It’s local and not too far from my house so I’ll be supporting this establishment before going to Starbucks. There’s plenty of tables for working and the vibe is relaxed.

I can see this becoming a regular spot for me. Quaint, with light music, a couple of corner couches and/or tables and several bistro tables. It serves pastries, some breakfast items, tea, & coffee. I had their spicy ginger chai and had an immediate smiley face. Keep up the good work!

The friendly staff make up for the slow service. Prices are average(think Starbucks) but if you want to vote local with your $$$ then this is a good spot. What they’re missing: a loyalty program! I think this is an ownership thing but I’m just guessing. It’s silly not to entice customers to choose you more.

I was in the neighborhood and wanted an afternoon pick-me-up. My Unilocal app said this was the closest place to grab a coffee. So, I quickly found it, and went inside to grab a beverage. There was no line. They took my order, and I quickly had my drink. It was fine. The coffee did not have any off notes, but it was not especially rich or flavorful. The bathroom was clean(kudos for that). Probably my biggest complaint would be the outdoor tables which were being monopolized by smokers on this sunny winter day. They created an unpleasant cloud of noxious fumes that one had to pass through on the way in, and out, of the Bean Tree. Indeed, their sheer volume of puffitude was enough to make it all the way out to the parking lot. Now, I know people who like a smoke with their coffee(not as many as I used to) but for me, the smell of cigarettes pretty much craps all over the pleasant aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
