Food is not so bad BUT service… oooofff –we asked to watch a game, TV was never turned on –we asked for no tomato, got tomato, sent it back &&&&& –it was very slow! So 2x the wait for dish with no tomato –no refills on drinks Not to blame the waiter personally but if your people are spread thin it’s going to show and affect the service guests receive.

Soo I liked it, nice bar, good bar food and the setting is pretty relaxing, I’d come back and I hear the chili is a challenge to eat, I’m a wimp but maybe someone else can let me know lol. again my wisdom teeth came out so I had to eat something plain and soft. The quesadilla it was. And it was good, next time I’m looking to do it right! Mexican Burger here I come.

I must say that all I can speak to are their rellenos, salsa, and enchilladas– but if you order any of those I don’t see how you could be disappointed. My whole family loves spicy food. I can’t imagine what the hot green chili is like since we all were downing our waters with just the half and half(half hot, half mild). The green chile is delicious and a perfect accent to their crispy relleno. We usually get our order as take out, but the one time we ate in house our service was wonderful.

My husband and I have been patrons of this bar for several years, but after the astounding display of poor management we witnessed on Friday, October 16th we will never be visiting this restaurant again. Friday and Saturday nights have become very busy in recent months, and yet for some reason Brewery Bar IV only has one bartender working these shifts. This has led to slow service at times, but this past Friday was perhaps the busiest I have ever seen it. Although the ONE bartender on shift was busting her ass and working extremely hard to fill orders, clean glasses, and deliver food to the customers at the bar, orders quickly began to back up. During this time, NOTONCE did any of the other staff members help, instead they continued to stack up dirty glasses around the bar and go about their business as if nothing was amiss. It wasn’t until another customer yelled at one of the busboys to take the dirty glasses to the back to be cleaned that anyone lifted a finger to help. All the while, the manager on duty did nothing to help alleviate the congestion at the bar. At one point during the evening several glasses were broken and the bartender cut both of her hands quite badly. Any other restaurant I have been to would have immediately pulled the bartender away to clean and tend to their injuries. But in a truly appalling display of subpar management, the bartender was forced to continue serving food and drinks while bleeding openly. I can’t guess at how many health codes this violated, or how the other customers must have felt being served this way. The icing on the cake however, was when the flood of drink orders finally started to slow down and the bartender was able to get caught up, the manager pulled her aside and fired her on the spot. I was glad to see that I was not the only customer appalled and outraged by this ludicrous turn of events. One customer went so far as to pull the manager aside and demand an explanation for why this bartender, who had very obviously been working so hard to keep up, was treated is such a disgusting way. Unsurprisingly, the manager offered no explanation and retreated to the kitchen. I’d like to say that the events of that evening came as a surprise, but given the decline of standards at this restaurant over the past 6 – 12 months, it’s really not. While the food is always good, continued price increases have begun to make Brewery Bar an expensive place to go for a simple beer. The women’s bathroom is frequently a mess(the soap dispenser has been missing from the wall for 6 months+, the toilet seats are all loose and crooked, the heat doesn’t work in the winter, etc.). And although it is supposed to be a sports bar, many of the TVs are either broken or of poor quality, and are located in such a way that you can’t see them from the bar. Brewery Bar IV used to be our Cheers, but there’s certainly nothing cheerful about it now. Finally, I’d like to note that this review was posted to their Facebook page following these events, and was subsequently deleted by them within 30 minutes. Nothing speaks to their guilt louder than that.

It’s basically a locals Sports bar. Not as well run or kept up as the other locations. I think they just let this one run it self, the flavors are different than both Kalamath and Park Meadows… but Margaritas are consistent… I think the charm is best on Kalamath, as is the food. This location is not worth it if you expect good Mexican food.

I can honestly say driving by this I was excited as I thought maybe this will be a good Mexican food restaurant. Nope not even close. If I could give it a negative star I would. Their menu claimed they have the best Chili Reno’s in Denver. I feel like Taco Bell could have done better. There were about 3 people working here and I feel like they did it all. We waited probably 20 mins to order drinks, another 10 to get drinks delivered, another 10 to order food and then waited 45 to get food. When the food came out it had obviously been siting under a warmer for a long time as the lettuce was wilted and brown. Once we got our food which was probably the worst tasting Mexican I have ever had the server never came around to drop off our check. After 15 – 20 mins we went to the bar to pay. Hands down the worst service and food I have had in a long time. Stay away!!!

This is by far the worst restaurant I’ve been to in quite a while. Like I don’t even remember one that was worse. First of all, where are all your ‘brewery’ beers? What in your 4 walls constitutes you calling yourself a brewery? And your cheese. Your cheese sucks! Ok, I’m sorry I lied. Whatever is is that you are alleging is cheese sucks. It’s greasy, and lumpy, and tasteless. Your chips are from a bag and they’re stale. Like the kind of stale when I go to the store and buy tostito’s, then eat half the bag, then throw it in the pantry for 2 weeks, and go back to said bag only to have stale chips. This whole experience is just terrible, terrible… terrible.

The sign literally says«brewery bar» — and it’s not a brewery. What? Why am I even here then? The server straight up said«yeah, our name is misleading» When you walk in, you can tell it’s an old Applebees that was purchased and NOT revamped. Chips & salsa from a bag & jar. We had one marg & left… ick.

Walked in and was greeted promptly, seated. Waited several minutes for chips and salsa. Disappointed chips weren’t freshly fried. Taste like Totinos chips and were too salty, salsa seemed like doctored Pace picante sauce. I ordered the #5 beef taco, cheese enchilada, bean burrito. My taco could of used some of the salt from the chips for seasoning, very bland, and they don’t fry their shells. The cheese enchilada seemed like it got made earlier and they heated it up. Cheese was solid, not gooey. Bean burrito was fair. My husband ordered a #6 cheese enchilada and chili relleno. Cheese enchilada was the same as mine, the relleno was just okay. We haven’t been here in a long time because we didn’t care for it before, so we thought we’d give them another chance. We won’t come back. Very disappointing.

Not good, terrible the chips were from a bag, salsa was from Costco w/cilantro added, the skinny margarita was repulsive, can’t imagine what the actual«food» must taste like. Service was good, I feel bad for them having to explain why everything is so horrible. Also, I do not know why this place is called«Brewery Bar», there were about 6 beers on tap & four of them started w/Budweiser or Coors. I hate chain restaurants so it pains me to say this, keep traveling down Parker Rd & go to Chilli’s!

Don’t. Waste. Your time. Seeing the reviews, we were still willing to try it. The margaritas were ok. We ordered the ground beef with cheese dip and received the biggest bowl of grease. We couldn’t even stomach the app which came before the chips and salsa we ordered first. You’d be better off hitting a Taco Bell.

Pretty terrible. The chips are from a tostitos bag I swear! The salsa tasted and looked like pace picante sauce with some onion and cilantro added to it. It was fairly flavorless though. My gf ordered 3 cheese enchiladas with a side of rice and I ordered the fish tacos. For $ 13 those enchiladas should have been delicious. However, they were greasy and disgusting. The rice was fine. The fish in my tacos was good and the black beans tasted like chipotle’s which are good. We had a bud light that was flat and a house margarita. Why was my house margarita $ 10.50??! This was the most disappointing restaurant experience that we have ever had.

Don’t call yourself«Brewery Bar» if the only beers you carry are Coors, Budweiser, and Dos Equis! The atmosphere is incredibly tacky with flickering lighting, the food is average, and the bar selection is very limited.

Food was okay. Appetizer came out the same time as our food, so we were overwhelmed with plates on our little table. Our server had us waiting on her to bring napkins, extra salsa, the bill, boxes, etc. the food came out quick, she wasn’t. Plus she dropped a plate on my boyfriend’s chair and it shattered next to him. She was apologetic but she laughed it off. Would have been nice for you to take something off our bill for spilling food and shards of plate all over my boyfriend. Too many teenagers work here and they seem to be poorly trained. We weren’t impressed.

Last evening my husband and I decided to go to Happy Hour at Brewery Bar IV. We had not been there for a long time, as the service and food had not been very good. We got there around 4:30. We waited to be seated, but there wasn’t any hostesses around. There were few customers in booths, a few at the bar, but the place was nearly empty. We seated ourselves in the bar area at a high top. Most of the wait staff were chit chatting with each other. Finally, the lady who was also bartending came to serve us. We order our drinks. It took awhile to get them. Then we ordered an appetizer. It took at least 30 minutes to get it, so we ordered another drink, and in watching her pour my husbands beer, it was not what we asked for. Once that was straightened out, we ordered another appetizer. When that one came, we needed new plates and silverware. Instead of going to get us what we needed right away, the bartender/waitress went into the office and chatted with other wait staff for at least ten minutes before she brought what we had asked for. A couple sitting next to us was also having the same issues. It is very sad to see how this Brewery Bar has deteriorated over the years. Apparently, there is not a good manager for this location.

Came in for a late lunch. Bartender had some regulars sitting at the bar. Unfortunately I sat in the bar area. The bartender asked for my drink order and it came quickly, after that nothing. I had to ask her for some chips and salsa and I got a basket of broken chip rejects and salsa. The chip rejects at least served the purpose of her asking me for my order. Bar service was very unimpressive. A couple sat soon after me and got the same poor service. Bartender was more interested in joking with regulars instead of serving patrons.

Went here with some friends when we stayed the night in Denver. Margaritas were good, and the salsa that comes with the complimentary chips and salsa at the table was decent. The meal however wasn’t anything to write home about. I had two chicken enchiladas and they were just ok, but between the cheese and salsa, it was a watery, greasy mess. My wife had the fish tacos, and commented that they may have been the worst she has ever had. Luckily we had a nice time catching up with our friends, so it was still a good evening. As far as the food is concerned, I wasn’t impressed, but the bar atmosphere may be better, but I was here with families for a meal, so that is what I am rating.

I love the green chili and I like the frozen margs. Beware, the hot green chili is exactly that: very hot. I can handle my spicy food as well but that is too much for even me. If you can handle spicy food, i would go half and half. Tortilla chips clearly store bought. Service disappointing. There are just better places to spend your money.

Brewery Bar(how many of these are there?) is a good place to go when you want to drink relatively cheaply, and you’d like to stay somewhat sober, so you need food to absorb the alcohol. Don’t get me wrong, the food isn’t horrible — but there are many many better places all over dinner for Mexican food. Taco Bell for instance. The service is fine, although the TVs are at a weird angle from the bar, so you are stuck getting to know your servers or your friends. I happened on the place looking for something else, and then I just got tired of driving. If you are in a similar situation, go for it. If you want to be known amonst your friends of being a good place picker, keep driving.
