Very nice people and helpful but extremely over priced. I wish it was a little more affordable. But over all I like the service and choices for my husband

DXL has been my partner’s go-to store for clothing for years, so it was great to discover one so close to our new home in Aurora. The service at this location is absolutely fantastic — they stay close at hand, ready to answer your questions, but they don’t hover like they’re desperate for a sale or like they think you’re going to make off with their goods either. They are very knowledgeable about the products they sell and will even make fashion suggestions if you’re a particularly inept shopper. The store is a good size and the selection is pretty good, though sometimes they run low on inventory when it comes to particular pants sizes. The only reason DXL doesn’t get five stars is because the prices can be prohibitively expensive — most items run $ 30 – 50 and can go way up from there. Our rule of thumb is to buy the basics — underwear, socks, jeans, shoes — at Kmart or the like, then buy special and hard-to-fit items like slacks, belts, and shirts here.

We came here to see if I can find some pants and was directed by a friend of me. So yes we went here(seems like my fiancé and I go everywhere together lol) to try to find some clothes. The pros is this shop is specifically tailored to people of larger sizes so to speak with more than enough clothing to find something from casual, to sports, to interview and career outfits. They have a great sales staff, though they can also be very very pushy and aggressive in upselling everything. For example, my fiancé found a very nice casual/out on the town shirt and yes he needed an undershirt to go with it, but the salesperson immediately had 2 undershirts already at the register. Both individually cost $ 35 if you bough both or $ 19 each. We kept telling him no, but he continued pushing. Needless to say we only bought one shirt. It seems like the salesperson was making money off commission. I personally hate high pressure stores like this, but because my fiancé found something, including what he terms his«bowling shirts», we most likely will end back up there.
