I went here in December for a cold turned bronchitis. I’ve visited other urgent care facilities in the past with good experiences, but Fox Valley Immediate Care is a total miss. From the exterior, it looks like a nice facility. Once you’re inside, it’s cold and sterile like many medical offices, but something about it felt more like a used car dealership. There were 3 staff members sitting behind the desk with nothing to do. I only waited a few minutes to be seen by the doctor, who was pleasant enough but I really wondered if she was a legitimate doctor. She shuffled in the room with a messy ponytail and wearing snap-up athletic pants under the doctor coat. I don’t expect a doctor in a tuxedo, but there’s something to be said for looking professional and polished. I was given a Z pack, some kind of steroid, and cough«pearls» with little explanation of what everything was for. I was disappointed because I told the doctor that the cough was the worst part, and I wanted something that would help me sleep — ideally a cough syrup with codeine. This was my first experience with the pearls, which weren’t nearly as effective. This visit was on a Sunday in the late afternoon, so unless I’m scrambling to find somewhere open again, I won’t be back.

After reading the other reviews, I was extremely reticent to take my three year-old daughter there for her ear infection. But the nurses were friendly and comforting, there was no long wait, and Dr. Sayeed even managed to make her smile. She never cried once, and that alone is a solid win in my book. I’ll definitely be visiting them again for my family’s urgent care needs.

Incredibly poor service. I went there from CVS Minute Clinic and the doctor walked in, asked me two questions, and diagnosed me with something without even evaluating me. Dr. Ali then prescribed something that could potentially have killed me due to a reaction with another medication that I told the nurse I was taking. When I called back to get a different medication, I spoke with another doctor who was appalled that Dr. Ali prescribed it without evaluating me. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office. Edit — Dr. Ali no longer works at this clinic

This clinic is horrible. I went in and was diagnosed with a kidney infection and kidney stones. I also had a horrible ear infection. I was told first that I could only be seen for one thing which I knew it was a lie. So I did a urine test which confirmed that I had blood in my urine. The doctor told me all she could do was wrote me for an antibiotic and that’s it. I was crying because all of the pain I was in. She then saud she would write for zofran. Thats not a pain medicine. I asked about tramadol because that is usually what I take for pain as it has less side effects. She proceeded to tell me she would lose her liscense if she wrote that. She said since I have got tramadol from my old doctor she cant write it. I told her my dentist wrote it for me before and it was fine. She didnt even act like she cared. I was crying my eyes out and she finally wrote for 7. That last like 2 days. Di not go here. Worst experience ever!

I knew I had a sinus infection and needed an antibiotic… Was after 8 and ended up at Fox Valley Immediate Care. First, I read the reviews, if it were more serious I wouldn’t have come but I knew exactly what I needed… If u don’t know what u need DONT go here. After my vitals were taken and written in a spiral notebook minus any check of blood pressure… Dr came in. I answered basic questions then stated what i normally get for my issue. Dr asked what strength… Eeekks! I would never take my child here. In the end got my prescription just glad I wasn’t seriously ill.

Dr. Ali and his staff helped me when I cut my thumb in a freak kitchen accident. I was very lucky they were still open on a Sunday night. They helped treat my shock and my wound – which needed sutures. I am very grateful for his knowledge and quick thinking.
