Unfortunately I will never experience the pizza which they call«gourmet», for you see I went to get tacos at the taco stand next door and something kind of disappointing happened, here’s my experience. After a long day of home repairs we wanted something quick but couldn’t decide between tacos or pizza, I read the reviews and saw the pizza may take a little longer so we opted for tacos(not completely counting this pizza joint out at this point, more like a rain check). We parked near the pizza place, the small parking lot was packed and there was no spots open closer to the taco joint so we thought, what’s the harm? It will only be a minute. Now, I understand they have a sign that says for«gourmet» pizza parking only but there were more spots open so we didn’t think parking there for no more than 5 minutes would stop their business flow. oh boy were we wrong. During the five minutes we were getting tacos, less than 100 feet away, an employee came out and slapped a huge yellow sticker on my vehicle that said this was a warning for parking on private property and my car and license plate had been written down because the next time I will get a boot on my tire or my car will be towed. They stuck the sticker on so hard I had to use a utility knife and goo-be-gone to get it off. Needless to say I was enraged. Not only did they deface MY personal property but three other vehicles who were parked even closer to the taco stand got those beautiful generic stickers as well(oh and please keep in mind there were STILL parking spots open by their business and they were by no means«busy»; if this were different I would be a little more understanding but not understanding enough to accept them placing a Wal-Mart brand sticker on my car). I can understand their frustration because the taco joint next door has AMAZING food and is constantly packed but the approach they are taking is a little extreme and childish. This is not how you bring business in, in fact, this is how you lose it. I have never tried this place and I never will.

Awful. I didn’t go back here for more bland overpriced pizza, but I did learn of shady practices. If you park in the SHARED lot to eat at Jalisco’s(a far better idea), Gourmet Pizza will leave stickers on your car. Awful food. Awful business practices.

On a wim(desperate for a good pizza) I made the 30 minute drive to Gourmet Pizza to see if the review sampling was something to write home about. A sampling of only 20 reviews doesn’t always give a true picture which is certainly the case here. The best part was the cheese which had a nutty flavor almost like an asiago cheese. The rest of the pizza was adequate but unspectacular, while the value was just okay. I would try them again if I was in the neighborhood. This is a delivery, take out place only.

First off I’ll start by saying, Gourmet is a very misleading name because there really isn’t anything gourmet about this, not that that’s necessarily a bad thing when it comes to pizza, but it just doesn’t fit here. they have one standard crust choice, one standard sauce choice and your run of the mill toppings list if you’re going to call yourself gourmet, have some out of the box choices. That being said, I thought it was pretty good. The crust had a nice buttery flavor and decent texture, could have been a tad more crispy though. The sauce had a good flavor but it seemed like they used too much. Lastly I found the pizza a bit greasy. Again this is not a negative review because the pizza was good, it just didn’t blow me away or stand out above any of the others in the same price range in the Aurora area. There are 4 or 5 places within 5 miles or so that I definitely think are better and have more options, but I would recommend this place of you’re looking for something closeby.

Wow! Found a new favorite place in Aurora for pie. As good as it gets and just the way I like it plus they deliver!!! Nice thin, flaky crust, not too much sauce and really good sausage. Plus they cook it a little extra well done like it should be. I recommend extra cheese for the best results. Great place owned by a real nice guy.

Simply the best thin crust pizza around. The sausage is perfection. We order a pizza for pick up a couple of times a month. I do recommend ordering extra cheese though. This is a pickup or delivery spot only as there are no tables. Pizza for pickup has always been ready when scheduled. Their online ordering system does have some kinks, though. I’m sure they’ll work it out.

Excellent pizza. Staying at Hotel in Aurora for my job and found this place. Very glad that I did! Pizza was made to perfection, crust was crisp great flavor and what a taste to the sauce meat and veggies! Just a great pizza. I’ll def get this again if I’m ever in Aurora again. Small establishment but those sometimes could be the best! Take out only. Next time driving thru I’ll order take out and eat on the go.

This place is the Real Deal! My wife & I order from here every week. Ron(the owner) is a super nice guy and you can tell he cares about his customers. The crust is nice and crispy, the sauce is just right and they don’t skimp on the toppings either. This will continue to be our«go to» place for pizza in Aurora.

Not sure why this place is called«Gourmet» Pizza Corp because there really isn’t anything«gourmet» about it. Maybe they couldn’t come up with a better name. Anyways…this is the BEST thin crust pizza in the entire Fox Valley area(Aurora, Sugar Grove, Montgomery, Oswego) The crust is thin, but crisp. The cheese is cooked well done, meaning not white and their sausage is some of the best I have ever had on a pizza. I am glad to have finally found my pizza mecca for the area

We’ve ordered several times now and have always had great service. The pizza is good and the service is too. I actually went for a pick up today(usually it’s my husband) and I was happy to see the place was clean and everyone was courteous. I’ll be ordering again.

«Gourmet» Pizza spelled backwards is «temruoG». That’s exactly why this pizza taste’s like it sounds… the opposite of Gourmet! I’ve had this pizza fresh, frozen & take to bake! The term Gourmet is in the eye of the beholder, and more specifically, the delusional owner. The crust is like… crust! Nope!

My family and I tried their pizza the other night and were pretty impressed. Nice change of pace from all the chain pizza joints out there. We stuck to the basic cheese and sausage. My wife said the pie was slightly on the the salty side but I had no complaints other than I wish we ordered a a larger size for left overs. Can’t wait to orde again.

Pizza is normally good, and we’ve ordered here since they opened. We’ve found the biggest issue is consistency. One week could be fine, the next week burnt crust. Plenty of meat one week, the next not enough. When they’re on, it’s great but got tired of rolling the dice at their prices.

Gourmet Pizza offers the best takeout pizza in Aurora. If they had a dining room, I would consider them the best takeout and dine-in pizza in Aurora. I really love this place, and so does my entire family… the crust is crisp, and crackery. The sauce is perfectly spiced. And, the toppings are always fresh. They use top quality ingredients, and their name is very accurate. It is gourmet quality pizza, and we love it.
