Terrible. This place was recommended to me by my Indian colleague, so thought of giving it a try. Went and bought goat keema and king fish. Marinated the fish overnight. When we began to cook it turned out to be smelling. tasted a bit of it and I vomited. These guys had sold us stale and very old fish, which was frozen. shame on u guys… sell rotten stuff thinking people will buy. sick mentality of just selling and not caring. guys I promise I will NEVER return to you and will make sure whoever asks me about I will warn them to stay away from you

Goat meat manager is horrible. He’s rude and give and knows nothing about customer service. Also, this is the WORSTPLACETOBUYMEATIFYOUCAREABOUTYOURHEALTH. I have filed a complaint to Colorado Department of Health about this business and if enough people do the same, they will close this place down. It does not meet the health standards folks. Please go to department of health for colorado and file a complaint if you think the same. My kids got sick eating the meat at this place and the main guy who cuts the meat is rude. These people will not care about you or your family’s health if you call them and say your kid fell sick.

Pretty decent selection. We had a lot of fun looking at all of the specialty foods. We couldn’t resist the kheer and packaged meals. Unfortunately, we were left waiting at the front for several minutes until finally a young boy(presumably a relative of an employee) flagged down a clerk to come help us. There was a $ 10 minimum for use of credit/debit card and the clerk wouldn’t let us slide at $ 9.50. At any rate, it gave us an excuse to splurge on an extra goody – a full pound on jaggery to accompany our extensive collection of chai teas.

Purchased several items. Thankfully they have want I wanted and needed for my Asian grocery needs. They have the Halal Chickens items, frozen items on the right wing of this establishment. On the left wing of this establishment were aisle of dry goods such as rice, lentils, pre-mixes, snacks etc etc. Prices was not allocated at all of the items hence a little mixed feelings about this Grocer. At the center of this Grocer, are all the frozen and refrigerated items. When we were there on Saturday April 6th2013, I can hear from the background, that one of the staffs are busy, cutting some meats of somekind. The lady behind the register was welcoming though. We were there about 19:05hrs ish. All in all, may return when needed though I have my favorite Grocer along this Road and Neighborhood. In the receipt Haat Bazar is CLOSEDONMONDAYS. 10 items, total cost $ 10.40. Haat Bazar Grocery & Halal Meat 2648 S. Greetings, and welcome to another review. Today’s piece concerns Haat Bazar, a little nook in the shopette on the northeast corner of Parker and Yale(also home to Golden Saigon(see prior review), Mirage Russian Restaurant, and the Korean side-dish vendor called Kimchi Village). Here you will find the expected spices(like the multifaceted blend Garam Masala, and the coriander-cumin hybrid called Dhana-Jiru), seasonings(for such complex, long-cooked meat dishes as Haleem, Nihari, etc.) and sundries(hey, some of those recipes get complicated!) usually available at a South Asian mart. And even some less-expected items — why, once I bought a very intriguing can of Banana Basil Seed drink! But I’ll let you in on a little secret(Sssssssssssssssssssshhhh!). With advance notice, the owners can also do catering for almost any event you can think of. Yes, with some preparation they will thrill you with dishes from their native country, Bangladesh. Just think, in(almost) no time you could be snacking on Singhara(potato and veggie turnovers), or perhaps a dish with Elish, that flavorful and very, very, very bony fish loved by Bengalis everywhere. As you digest your creamy, yogurty Bhappa Doi dessert you will wonder how you ever lived without.
