Dr. Kamat and her staff are by far the best. I have multiple health issues, and interviewed TEN doctors when i moved here from Michigan a few years ago. Many would not take me as a patient, due to my medical issues and because I will need a liver and kidney transplant in the near future. Dr. Kamat on the other hand, welcomed me and had no reservations about becoming my PCP. I always make sure my other drs notify her and coordinate my care with her. Dr. Kamat will be my PCP for life. I am never rushed, always treated with respect and dignity, and fully understand the course of action before leaving the office after each visit. Her ENTIRE staff is as friendly, warm, respectful, and as caring as Dr. Kamat is. They really do get to know you as a person, and you are not treated as just a turnaround, rushed visit, or double-​booked patient. To have a DOCTOR and STAFF put you at ease, welcome you from the minute you walk in, AND get to know you and care for you PERSONALLY, is truly amazing and a rare find. NHPC is really a one-​in-​a-​million find

Hold times on the phone are hit or miss (I’ve waited anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes for someone to pick up the phone), but the staff has always been helpful and courteous. The hours are fairy convenient, and they even have Saturday hours (just be advised that these appointments book weeks in advance). Dr. Kamat is patient, friendly, and understanding, not to mention thorough in her approach. Overall, I’m happy with the quality of care.

Dr. Kamat is amazing. She treats you like a person and really takes the time to understand your problems. Every complaint or comment is taken as valid and with value. No one rushes you here and they really make you feel comfortable (well, as comfortable as you can get being in a doctor’s office.)
