Holy tamale what a dump! The interior hasn’t been updated since MASH was playing in prime time, and the place is covered in grime from top to bottom. I came here with my family for lunch last week and was blown away by the fact that this place is still in business. It took our waiter thirty minutes just to take our drink order, then another twenty minutes to bring us our drinks, then another thirty minutes to take our order. 1.5 hours later, our food arrived. The food is on a completely different scale of unknown origins and disgust. I ordered a smothered burrito with a beef taco and a chicken flauta. The only thing edible on the plate was the flauta. I couldn’t even get through two bites of the burrito and had to give that up because the taste was so awful, I just couldn’t bring myself to eat it. The taco was made up of mystery meat that did not taste like beef at all. I have no idea what they used for refried beans, but they were not refried beans, more like strained bean mystery concoction. To top it off, me, my sister and my niece were sick not long after we ate the food. My niece was nauseous all day, I had stomach cramps, and my sister had prescription-strength indigestion. This seriously has to be the absolute WORST Mexican food I have ever had in Colorado! I am from there, so I grew up eating some of the best Mexican food in the country, but Señor Ric’s is not Mexican food at all! Taco Bell has better food than Señor Ric’s. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all cost. It is overpriced, the service is terrible, and the food is disgusting. Check out La Casa del Rey in Commerce City or Las Delicious in Denver… both have amazing food!

My family and ordered takeout from Señor Ric’s three nights ago and it was fabulous. The food was great, the kids meals were substantial and everyone had leftovers for the next day. We’ve eaten at the restaurant a few times as well and were always very happy with everything. Now that my family has tried a few different Mexican restaurants, our official favorite is Señor Rics. So good!

Love this place! The staff is always welcoming and nice and the food is pretty tasty. I go here with family a couple of times a year and always rotate ordering the pollo magnifico or the chimichanga. This is a great place to go for yummy decent priced Mexican food!

Tried this place for the first time. Out dated, but regardless the food and service was great! Has a chip and salsa bar. I had the Sonora chicken… it was so yummy! Husband had a smothered chimi! Overall, great! We will return! Our server, Tracy, was fantastic. Thanks!

Love this restaurant! My family and I have been going here for ever! The décor is a bit outdated… But the food is amazing! The Rics Platter is the way to go! So many fun sample sized items from the menu! The staff has always been respectful! The restaurant is always clean too!

We decided to go here since we had heard such great things about this place. The food is not authentic Mexican food. It’s more Americanized food. The enchilada sauce tastes like can sauce and very tomatoey the fajitas did not look like what fajitas look like and the rice was not good at all. Very disappointed. We won’t be back but will keep looking for something authentic

I had such high expectations for this place. The parking lot was crowded and that is usually a good sign. The service was good, but the food was very bland. The margaritas were strong but TOO sweet. Salsa is ok, like something out of a jar. The«spicy» sauce on the enchiladas was not at all spicy. Overall, this is a Mexican restaurant I would take my grandparents too and they would love it. Bland and not spicy… they would be fine.

Service was great, people friendly and I could see how this could be a fun happy hour. Had the Ricks’s chimichanga with green chili which was marginal.

Haven’t been here in years but decided to go today for lunch. The restaurant was not busy at all. The service was good and staff was very friendly and attentive. The chips and salsa was good, and menu had a big variety. There is gluten free as well which is also appreciated. The food was quickly out and good. Very authentic and generous helpings. The beans and rice are excellent but the guacamole is not very good. Overall it was a good experience and would return.

Ugh. I really can’t think of a positive thought regarding this restaurant. Casa Bonita’s food puts it to shame. I’d rather have tacos from Jack in the Box, not kidding. I took two bites of a burrito, tried the beans and left. Beyond redemption.

This is my go to place for Tequila Tuesdays in Aurora. A pitcher of the house margarita is $ 10, which is fantastic because not only is it seriously tasty but it satisfies my group of three. The queso appetizer is amazing, in my opinion it’s the best item on the menu. The rest of the menu consists of cheesy, fried, americanized Mexican food though. so not exactly my cup of tea but my friends love Ric’s Platter. The service is fast and friendly, one of the waiters recognized my friends and I after two visits even though the restaurant always seems to have steady business. Overall, I mostly enjoy coming here for their Tuesday Margarita special but it’s a great place to grab dinner for family and friends.

So I ordered 3meals from this place. I don’t eat pork. So for each meal I specifically asked for ground beef. When I made it home by my surprise, even though all the meals were supposed to be ground beef there was a pork chimichanga. When I called to let them know that I had a pork chimichanga, Jeff whom says he is the owner says that he was there when the young lady read the order back to me and she never said that I wanted all ground beef. Never will I ever go back to this restaurant. They don’t value the customer at all. I should have never had to pay for a meal that I do not eat.

A clean environment, decent value, good service and slightly above average food. Walking in the door was a «Back to the Future» experience as it was obviously an old Chi-Chi’s. That’s neither good or bad — but, wow! I haven’t been to a Chi-Chi’s in two decades but it was all so familiar. The rice in beans were rather tasteless, the chips were ordinary, and the salsas were good. My chiles rellenos were very good with lots of cheese. They were the Thursday $ 7.99 special.

This place is awesome!!! I have an addiction to Mexican food, and it’s a wonder I’m not a tortilla filled balloon by now… but we were there on a weeknight, and the place was decently filled, but there was no wait time. I really like the layout, and they had plants everywhere so it was very inviting. Our waiter was really attentive, and the food comes out super quick! The food… oh the food was SO good! I had a grande burrito, and it was HUGE. Decent prices, and you get leftovers-win/win! They had margarita madness going on on Wednesday-$ 10 pitchers. Now what’s better than that? Not much. Not much. I will be going again, if I can trick my husband into going(he’s not addicted to Mexican food like I am). Maybe I can try telling him we’re going for«ice cream»:)

We have been going to your restaurant for years, but, it was my recent visit that has finally made me realize that the food prep, quality, and service will keep me from ever going back. The Caesar«wrap» was soggy & fell apart.(We had asked to substitute a ranch wrap vs. Caesar, but, was charged 1.29 for a bowl of ranch dressinginstead). The 2 soft tacos — ala carte, — were served with brown lettuce and the tacos were soaked in liquid. The mini chimis were lukewarm. goodbye…will never return. caveat emptor.

When the highly-recommended Café Paprika turned out to be on two weeks’ vacation, we went next door to here. Wasn’t expecting more than your basic Anglo-Mex joint, and got what we expected. Decent food, tasty salsa, good service.

The first impression is that its a huge space with super dated décor. There were lovely live plants all over the restaurant, that part was pretty impressive! The restaurant was clean. The waitress however, didn’t seem to be. She has food all over her shirt and smelled like smoke. Not the best way to represent the kitchen! We also had to wait literally about 20 minutes until anyone even noticed us. There seemed to be a ton of staff but, I think we were interrupting their conversations and texting. The happy hour menu is a joke. There is ONE margarita available and it is buy one, get one free. We ordered them and GOTTHEMBOTHATTHESAMETIME! So, we tried to drink the first one as fast as we could… who likes watered down tequila? I guess if your water glass didn’t get filled as much as it didn’t here… anything liquid would help. The food: Unremarkable and unmemorable. The best I can say is that no one got sick. We came, we tried, we won’t be back.

Oh man. I’ve been here once and I won’t be going back again unless I have a guaranteed hour to myself in the bathroom afterwards. Great value for the food and tasty! Gave me serious bathroom problems a few hours later and i usually don’t have problems with Mexican food, but one day I’ll be back!
