Holy side dishes. I have never been to a place with so many side dishes! It was very neat to see that, but I personally prefer a smaller setting. The side dishes as a whole was ok. Some dishes were better than others, but I enjoyed them overall. I ordered maewoontang, a spicy fish stew, and it was so good that I ate the whole bowl, and that bowl is enough for two people. The only thing I was disappointed with was the grilled meats. All of it was good, but it might be because the meat in KC was exceptional, but something was lacking. I mean I would still order the meat again, but it definitely wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place because I can’t wait to go back to try more of their soups

It is nice to have a korean BBQ close to me, but I miss the all you can eat ones from California. That said the food is very good and the kimche is excellent and plenty of variety. My only complaint is the price. It is just too expensive for BBQ. I have been with a group of four and fourteen and both were easy to accommodate, so I would highly recommend it for large parties, although be prepared for someone to work, it is a lot to cook for a large group.

I brought a large group of people to Seoul BBQ for a meet up event and they seated us in our own private room with two tables featuring BBQs. A couple people in the party(including myself) ordered the bulgogi to grill on the table and it was tons of fun! The BBQ entrees come with 14 assorted sides and I tried every single one of them. From the taro, to the fried sweet potatoes, to the cucumber, to the salad, everything was super delicious! This was my first time going to Korean BBQ, so I don’t have much to compare the experience to, but the staff was polite, the food was fresh, and delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

It was very disappointing. We wanted to cook our meat at the table and our server came out with our meat already cooked. There were a few other mistakes that were made. It was just one big mess. Our table was ignored for most of the night. Not worth the price at all.

The concept of grilling on the table with 14 sides is great; however, I agree with all the bad reviews! Customer service is the worst here! Anyone know of another Korean BBQ place nearby?

For my first time at a Koran BBQ I was wildly disappointed. The thrill of cooking the meat table side and having countless little side dishes quite intrigued me. Maybe the excitement level was to much but I have not been so disappointed in awhile. Overall for the amount of meat you get I think the price is high. The meat was one of the more taster portions but when you get two different types and cannot tell the difference that isn’t so good. All the sides were cold and very unappetizing. Plus there was no instruction whatsoever on what to do once the meat starts firing up at your table. I decided to order a soup as well, using the servers recommendation, and yuck! I have not tasted something so bland in a very long time. Overall none of the flavors I was anticipating.

Negative – First of all, the waitress did not help my friends and me when we asked her about the most popular item on the menu and what ingredients are in the food. She was the worst waitress I have ever had contact with because she ignored us the whole time and I had to constantly get her attention by waving my hand on the air. Poor consumer service. Positive — food was delicious. Overall — - disappointed with the staff and mediocre experience

The food was good although we were unsure of what to order. If you’re not familiar with Korean food I would suggest doing some research or ask your server for suggestions. There was one dish that our neighbors ordered that smelled soooo good. Definitely want to come back and try the bbq at the table. We didnt since it was just 2 of us and we felt that it was way too much food to order 2 bbq enters(have to order minimum of 2). We ended up getting a tofu soup in a clay pot and braised ribs, also in a soup, as well as 2 appertizers. Our food was good, but not worth the $ 70 we spent, I will be coming back with more questions and research next time.

Great stuff! This place is a good intro to Korean food for families and groups. You’ll need to order food to cook on the table grill if you want the full experience. It’s all good my friends!

Ok, I’m embarrassed that I haven’t reviewed this restaurant yet. We drive 6 hours each way from Telluride for semi-annual appointments at the nearby Medical Center and have never failed to make time for an amazing lunch before heading home. This restaurant is extremely authentic with the best Bulgogi and all of the sides; not found in many Korean restaurants any more! Try the fried dumplings… also freshly made and a meal in an of itself. I’m working my way through the hot soups and all have been great! The sushi used to be a lot better but, on the bright side, now I have no excuse not to focus on just the Korean food. Just a recommendation… you can ask for the dinner size meal even during lunch. They moved to a more limited lunch menu which concerns me a bit; but the place is always packed so I won’t read too much into that. Enjoy!

This is place is as good as it gets as far as Korean BBQ goes in the area. I used to come here with my family almost weekly back in the day(two years ago) and ordered off the menu(everything from appetizers to stews to BBQ to shabu shabu). From my memory, most of their items are tasty! The only thing is that their prices have shot up within the last two years. $ 13 for dol sot bibimbap now, say whaaaa?! Anyway, the bbq combo option is always good if you have hungry people with you. We usually go with combo B(with bulgogi and pork bulgogi) when we have 4 – 5 people. I recently got the dol sot bibimbap with no meat and asked for tofu instead, and they made it! It was awesome — enough for two people who aren’t that hungry. Their side dishes are always yummy and they always refill whatever dish, if you ask! The sushi that came with it was questionable though… My stomach was okay after eating it though. I’m alive. I don’t know why everyone has such a terrible experience with the service here… They’ve been pretty spot on every time I’ve been here… But that could be because my mom tips them well too… Either way, good service and good food means a good rating. The only thing, as mentioned before, is that the price point is on the higher side. But, I guess we all have to make money… Pro tip: you can get an additional stew, if you don’t get any soju or sodas with your combo. Also, no reservations unless you have 6+ in your party.

My friend and I came here after a day of toiling away on our computers(you know, exercising our brains). I had bookmarked this place long ago, but since it’s SO. FAR. AWAY., I needed a good nudge to get here. We arrived around 530/545pm and the place was already pretty full… and mostly of Asian folks. GOODSIGN. Since it was my friend’s first time eating Korean food, she had me take the reins. I ordered us a seafood pajeon(savory pancake) as an appetizer, dolsot bibimbap(beef), and seafood soondubu jigae. Yes, yes, too much food. About 5 minutes after we ordered, a cart rolled up to our table with all our ban chan. FOURTEEN of them. I can not even begin to tell you how good they all were… but my friend thought I had ordered us another appetizer. She was blown away that the ban chan were complimentary. Then the pancake came out. And her eyes rolled to the back of her head. The bibimbap and soondubu jigae were complex, flavorful, and perfect. I see what I’ve been missing out by not crossing to the other side of town for my fix of Korean food. $ 35 feeds four. Or, two people for two days. We were both very full, and had plenty of leftovers for each of us.

I’ve been here many times and I’m sad to say that my last visit here was one of the worst I’ve had at this restaurant. Which is absolutely too bad because I love their choices of Korean BBQ. However their customer service was completely horrendous and downright rude! Before I start into their customer service, I’ll review their food. There was 6 of us so we decided to get the combo for 5, which included 5 choices of meat, choice of soup, egg casserole, soju, and of course all the sides. The sides arrived first and you better believe we started digging in! I don’t know the names of all the dishes but my favorite is the sweet yams. We finished several bowls by the time our meat arrived. We ordered the marinated meat combo. We grilled one set of meat at a time and had to change the grill top several times. Korean BBQ is one of my favorite kind of food and it was very appetizing and filling. I’d recommend coming here for their food alone. However, if your thing is service which I’m pretty big about, Seoul BBQ has one of the worst. We asked for water at the time we ordered but still didn’t get it until after we cooked and ate half of our meat. We also asked for an extra bowl because they miscounted and we never got one. We also asked for more sides, but they ran out of the sweet yam dish… sad panda(that has nothing to do with their customer service but I was legit sad they ran out lol). The waiter was extremely rude! There were times we’d ring the doorbell because we needed something like water and he’d take 15 minutes plus to finally make it to our table. He also didn’t turn on our vent so when we cooked our last set of meat, it smoked up the entire restaurant until another waiter came over to turn it on. Once receiving our bill, we waited for him to come back to check us out with the sweet rice drink. We rang the bell and had a friend stand up looking at them trying to catch a waiters attention but they just ignored her. When they finally walked over, she asked for the sweet rice drink but said they were out. So we were packing up getting ready to go then they roll over with the drinks. By the time they brought it though, we were already peeved. So a few of my friends didn’t want it out of spite. Ok I’m done ranting, but seriously this was one of the worst customer experience I’ve had.

This restaurant has very authentic and tasty korean food! I got Dae-Goo Mae-oon-tang(sea bass spicy soup) to go and it was oh so yummy! Caution: it is very spicy as the name of the dish explicitly implies. It had other seafood in the soup, including mussels and baby clams. The soup came with some sides and of course, a bowl of rice. The kimchi was not the best I’ve had, so I would minus half a star for that if I could. It was bland and wasn’t fermented enough. But the cucumber and soybean sprout side dishes were very good.

Disclaimer: I am not Korean and to your reading disappointment, I actually didn’t try their BBQ, but from what I had and from prior experiences, this place makes the mark. Open space and clean: Check Good banchan: 14 of them! Check Friendly service: Check Quick service: Check Highlights: — I really enjoyed their Haemul pa-jeon(or otherwise seafood pancake). I’ve had others in the past and I felt like this one had so many ingredients! Great mix of vegetables with seafood. Many times, they can be dominated by the batter, but this definitely felt more ingredient heavy, which is awesome. — The gamja jungol was great as well. It says for two, but really you can probably serve 3WITH leftovers. A little on the spicy side, but that is kind of what you expect with Korean food! — 14 banchan! Enough said. Oh and they also serve iced sikhye, which was so good I was tempted to ask for more. Next time =)

It’s a Wednesday. I decided to go out to a local treat which I’ve herd is great for lunch… Seoul BBQ. After exiting my car I immediately notice how wonderful it looks from the outside. They have hanging flower pots that are obviously well maintained. The flowers are bright pink and they are evenly spaced. The overall outside appearance makes the place very inviting. After entering the smells have already began to make my stomach growl and, even though no one is at the front, I am quickly greeted by a host that tells me there’s a five minute wait(this is lunch let’s remember). Well, after just a minute or two my table is ready and I am served water immediately. I begin to look at the lunch menu and realize how much I love the prices. Specifically, I enjoy them because of what I’ve herd about the multiple side dishes. My mouth is now watering and I can’t contain myself! I really do want to order everything haha. My order was taken quickly– I decide to keep it simple and order some Bibim-bap and some Korean short ribs for an additional $ 6. The short ribs are limited to one order per person during lunch which raised my curiosity. Well, the short ribs were incredible. I finished them off before I got back to my review. The rest of the meal taste great as well and the service hasn’t suffered yet. The bibimbap car with the egg on top cooked perfectly. After breaking it and mixing the bowl the ingredients stick together perfectly nice big bites. The red pepper past they gave on the side is a nice touch as well as the onion beef broth. The only thing I’d say is a little more meat wouldn’t hurt… More meat never hurts though . Overall a great experience.

Hungry? Come on out to Seoul BBQ and they can fix that. Yes. Everything comes with FOURTEEN(14) little side dishes of tasty bites including Kimchi and other marinated delectables. We remember: octopus bites, tasty mini salted fishes, cabbage, gelatin bites(eew), eggplant, cabbage, lettuce, raw garlic, jalepeno, macaroni salad, chives– so much goodness! The main course we chose was the BULGOGI and GALBI, Korean dishes of thin beef slices and boneless short ribs marinated and grilled on a barbecue. And you get to be the cook! Fun times. Me and the BF split a bottle of Bokbunja, a blackberry wine native to Korea. The wine is the color of oxblood, and its sweet, berry flavor is reminiscent more of dessert wine and was sever with little shot glasses. Nice! Other reviewers have mentioned that it is slightly expensive due to the fact that they require each table to order two main courses at $ 25– $ 30 a pop. There is enough food for four people, so try to come on a double date! Nice find!

This is my favorite place to get Korean bbq in Colorado. Not only is the food delicious, but the place is elegantly decorated and staff are really friendly. They offer three types of seating areas. They have private rooms for large parties, the general dining area, and a semi-private back sushi dining area. I come here so often that I ate in all three areas. I love variety in my food so I love that every order, even the sushi orders, comes with the Korean side dishes. I never finish any of the side dishes because there are so many, but if you do you can always ask for more. When I come here with my friends we always do our own cooking because it is quite entertaining to cook your own food at a restaurant. However, if I come here with my boyfriend we always have the kitchen cook it because we are a lazy couple. We also always order the seafood soon-tofu soup and the daeji bulgogi. Once I have ordered sushi and surprisingly it was pretty good for a Korean restaurant. I also really like the sweet drink they bring out after each meal; it’s my dessert.

I’ve been here twice and tried the Korean BBQ both times. I have yet to try their sushi options. I got spicy pork & bulgogi when I came. Each meat order comes with 12 side dishes that include things like kim chi, savory jello, pickled cucumber, macaroni salad & tofu. The meat costs around $ 20-$ 35 depending on the type that you get. Servers come and put the meat on for you & then change out the center cooking grill when you’re ready to put on the other meats. Some people might find the concept of cooking your own meat to be foreign & unconventional because you might be thinking«I came to a restaurant so I DON’T have to cook.» But think of it this way: you get super freshly cooked food & a fun experience where you can control the well-doneness of your own meat! I personally love cooking on the grill in the center. Reason why I am giving this place a 3 stars is because of the quality of their meat. I found the meat, both times I came here, to be(not for all cuts but for ½ of the ones I ordered) fatty or chewy. The quality was subpar to Korean BBQ places I’ve been to in the bay area & was slightly more expensive too. In terms of ambience, this place is very clean, open and great for parties. They have private rooms and tables without the grill if you plan on ordering sushi or other dishes that don’t need BBQing.

I thought of you ordered BBQ to be cooked at your table, it would be full service? At least that’s what I have experienced at other Korean places. No worries though, Chef Nyla took over and the galbi was just as good. Seoul BBQ also provided Seoul many sides! Other place I’ve gone to give maybe 7 or so sides, but we got 14! Since they didn’t give us any sukjul namul, we asked for it and we received. At the end of our meal the owner, I think, came by and asked us how the food was. He also suggested and brought us a pickled square side… Can’t remember what it was called, but he was very friendly and said if that the sides that are brought out are supposed to compliment what we order and if we wanted anything extra to just ask. They also gave us this sweet rice slushy drink as dessert. I’ve never had it before but perfect after the big dinner we just had.
