Vic’s Jewelry & Watch Service Center

I was just here today. Vic is a great (and funny guy!) and his wife is wonderful, as well. I have had both vintage and comtemporary watches fixed here and have nothing but praise for their workmanship, timeliness, and reasonable prices. I have also had jewelry fixed/​sized and, again, major kudos to Vic & family. And don’t forget to check out their display cases as they have some very beautiful and original pieces (yes, I have purchased an item or two!),
So… to sum it up, if you need to have something fixed, sized, watch battery replaced or you are just looking for that something special, I would advise you immediately go to Vic’s because they are the best!

I came here recently to replace the batteries in my watches (Michele and Movado). The man was friendly and worked on them while I waited. Michele does cost more because the back is harder to open (that’s why my friend couldn’t do it for me even though he has a watch kit).

I had batteries replaced in two inexpensive watches yesterday. It took only two minutes. The owner was very efficient and set them to the correct time. I was appalled that I was billed $ 22.00 for the 2 minutes of putting in the batteries and setting them to the correct time :(

Let me start by saying that I’m an idiot, and Vic’s Jewelry is the BEST!
8÷11÷2011 — I dropped my watch off at Vic’s to get a new crown and it was done in the same week. He called and let me know that the work was complete and to come pick it up whenever I had a chance. I put off picking it up again and again. I was transferred to San Francisco for work for a couple years without thinking about the watch.
It had slipped my mind that I dropped my watch off at Vic’s YEARS ago until recently. I figured calling and seeing if they still had it was a shot in the dark, however I gave it a try and they checked for me. THEY STILL HAD IT and the price was the same as their first quote, they didn’t charge me a 3 year storage fee :)
Vic’s Jewelry is the most courteous, friendly & honorable jewelry company that I’ve had the experience of working with. Thank you Vic’s, you have a customer for life and I’m lucky to have done business with you!

The man working here was not too friendly. I just needed one link taken out of a watch band and they charged $ 10 for his 30 seconds of work. When I needed another adjusted I found a kit on amazon with a holder, a little hammer, and different sized chisel things that let me fix it myself and that was only $ 7.

I have taken several watches to Vic’s for repair and he has been very honest with me that some were not worth repairing. Most recently I took a Swiss watch, that another shop had told me would cost several hundred to repair. Vic went to the extra effort to find a battery that got the watch working for a little over a hundred dollars. I highly recommend this shop.

My family goes here got repairs and resizes. I have only gone once, myself to get a necklace chain fixed. I was pleased with how quickly it was fixed and available for pickup. I like the feel of the small, private store, and even though the owner isn’t super social or overly friendly he gets the job done. I trust him with my jewelry and that is rare for me.

My parents have been going here for the last 10 years so recommended that i go. The first time I drove there they were closed for couple weeks because they were on vacation. When i went in today to have 2 watches adjusted. he mentioned nothing about price and was not friendly at all. he took my watches back and minute later done. then said $ 17 … what the F. I don’t believe any one charges that. $ 8.50. I was so shocked and blind sided i did not realize that I just got railed. I will never never never give them my business. I think it might be time to retire.

I’ve gotten a ring and watch re-​sized here, and both times, they’ve been personable and professional. Just a few hours ago, I got a few links out of my beautiful white ceramic watch, and though they honor those coupons that get sent out in the mail, the lady who helped me today was very straightforward and told me that since my links were more complicated (than most other watches’), they couldn’t take the coupon. However, she quoted me a fair price, and she was very competent – the sizing took no more than five minutes, and the watch now fits perfectly! Overall, I’ve always had an enjoyable experience with Vic’s, and I know I can trust my higher-​end pieces to them. Two thumbs up!

Nice little store; very friendly. I received a watch for my ten year work anniversary and needed some links removed; this cost me $ 10. They sell watches and jewelry, along with servicing watches and clocks. I will be returning to have my «Kauai» wall clock fixed
